McDonalds is the most consistent and one of the most popular.

Although I think Krusty Burger is based on Burger King, at least in that episode you're shitpostingly referring to, because those burgers are grilled.

What kind of meals do you most often cook for yourself? I have a pretty solid rotation of dishes but lately I've been getting kind of bored of it.

I usually make stir fries, fajitas, and stews (including chilli, curry, and adobo) because they're quick and easy, versatile dishes that you can cook with a lot of different cuts of meat and vegetables. Aside from that I often make steak and chips and roast chicken/chicken pieces and chips.

Stuffed peppers are a great way to get non meat protein. Good way to fit in Quinoa.
Seafood tacos are also great for this. Salads with many different types of greens and eight ounces or less of grilled meat also makes a great meal. Think greens first unless you're a career lifter

Dried beans and sausage / bacon / ham, cornbread, mashed potatoes, various casseroles, chicken spaghetti, burritos, sandwich wraps, stir fries, curries, soups, salmon croquettes, chicken fried stead / steak fingers... It mostly depends on what sort of meat I can find as to what I end up cooking.

Our Captain couldn't give a fuck about anything, especially the food.

He ran into the galley just the other night and complimented us on a "job well done for that tasty chicken." We just panned up some frozen chicken patties and threw them in the oven without adding anything.

I just ate a fresh whole pineapple that I cut/peeled myself.

My tongue is now covered in little blister like things and there's blood lacing my spit.

So, there you go /ck/. Don't eat a whole pineapple straight.

u sure u dont need a hospital or something?

i eat pineapple and have never had that
>>
>>8158872
Well, I peeled it poorly maybe. I didn't cut off a deep enough layer to take out all the little pits with a stalk in them. I didn't de-core it either. Just ate the whole thing as is more or less.

I didn't wash the pineapple either, so maybe this is pesticides on the green out skin contaminating the fruit inside as I handled it.

Is there such thing as good premade chicken tendies? I've tried all the brands I can find but they're all shit. I have a fryer so I'm not just nuking or baking them. I figure half the restaurants around order theirs instead of hand breading them and most all are pretty good, but the ones I buy at the supermarket are awful. Anyone in the restaurant biz know where to get the best tendies?

>Tfw dishbitch at my university dining hall

Technically I guess I do front of house shit instead so technically not, but close enough. Sometimes they even let me bake cookies (which is about 10x more satisfying than wiping tables)
At least they pay well and my dorm is right next to where I work...

I worked as a dishwasher at a small Italian restaurant for like 2 months. Easily my least favorite job ever. The radio was always on one station that played the same 20 or so classic rock hits on repeat. The cook never shut the fuck up about inane bullshit like his character in some RPG game he was playing. It's wet, dirty, pays nothing, and you have to stand in one place all day. During downtime you have to do the bitch work like cleaning bathrooms, dumping grease traps, breaking down boxes, and other stuff while the waiters get to watch TV. Working in a warehouse was 100x better.

If you had managed to ride out the 3rd month you would have realised its the easiest job in the kitchen and all the chef will love you for it. The chefs i was with had top quality banter though

So /ck/, as a brazilian I eat Açai almost every week either in smoothies, juice or the ice cream sorbet. However I almost never hear anyone talk about it here.

From what I heard it was a meme food in '05 and '06 to diet freaks from the US that made it sound like some miracle thing. That true? And have you ever tried it?

We have one of those things every couple years. Pomegranates, avocados, kale, etc. The new meme slang word for it is "super food."
