I keep seeing this in my local Tesco, and it seems to be a Russian import of good repute. Has anyone else here drunk it (domestic or import bottle)? If you have, how would you rate it?
>>8154063
It's okay, nothing special - still better than smirnoff or supermarket own brands.
Personally I'd take russian standard or absolut over it, both are usually near the same price and they are both better vodkas in my opinion.
>>8154107
Russian standard really disappointed me. Bought it for the first time a few weeks ago, and it honestly tasted more like a gin than a vodka.
Literally was like drinking pine needles. I am not sure what the fuck happened with that particular batch I got, or if they're all like that, but it was a disgrace. Never buying it again.
>>8154111
I have no idea what you got, but that has never happened to me with RS before.
I want to cook some chinese.
Is it ok if use soy sauce destined for sushi? What about the pictured spice on the right, should i use it?
Can I replace the chicken breast with turkey
I ve got more ingredients which should be used: 1 carrot, 1 white onion, 1 pepper, garlic 3 pieces, amidon corn, green onion(2 leaves)
The recipe says that I m missing: baby corn, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds
What do you think, should I remove or add something?
>>8153645
Bump
>>8153645
There was a food anthropologist/historian years ago that said the most basic things to Chinese food were garlic, ginger and green onion. While there is some truth in that statement i would also add Chinese black vinegar, dark soy sauce, hot oil and shaoxing wine(the drinking kind, not the cooking kind)
>>8153645
soy sauce is soy sauce
Are you a Food Warrior /ck/? Food Warrior's are healthy eaters. If you are one that means you fight crime of the bad eaten food and only feed tasty food to your family's. It's all a matter of taste but Mother Earth is only on one side.

>>8153597

why is popcorn less calories popped than it is unpopped?
Varying serving sizes?
I'm probably wrong, but I'd imagine it's the evaporation of the water inside the kernels....I think.
>>8153568
Water ain't got no calories
A friend let me try one of these from his parent's fridge when I was about 8 or 9 and I ended up asking for another one every 10 minutes until the jar was gone. I've been going through a couple jars a month since then. I even had them shipped to me in Afghanistan.
My grandmother would eat this type of small green olive with pimento in brine by the bowl full. At most family dinners there would be a bowl of olives just for her.
>>8153515
Same op. I love those peperoncinis. Pretty much anything pickled really: peppers, cucumbers, eggs, sausages ect.
If I start eating them I finish a quart jar in a sitting.
>>8153530
Also same. I will devour just about anything pickled and most things fermented. My kidneys probably hate me.
What do I add to take my pizza sticks to the next level?
potassium cyanide
Give them at least 10 in ADP so they'll have a decent amount of iframes

Well that's difference. Am more used to them in salad. Legit tho, do they change flavour when cooked? Are they only applied when out the oven?
New pizza surprise I guess. These meals came a long way
Would you care to explain your post more?
I'm looking at what appears to be a couple of croquettes of some kind dressed with remoulade. None of the words in this thread make any sense.

Nice
I want to start making tasty dessert but I don't know where to start. Any recommendations? No cookies please
>>8153298
What do you feel like, fruit, chocolate?
A cheesecake like your pic is good, just depends where you want to go with it.
Lemon squares are also an easy and universally liked one.
And maybe even brownies if you want to go the chocolate path.
>>8153298
no bake cheesechakes are pretty much impossible to stuff up
Tart tatin:
Preheat oven, 350ish. Quarter enough apples to line the bottom of a cast iron frying pan. Make enough pie dough for one crust. Melt 1/4cup of butter in the frying pan. Sprinkle enough sugar to cover the bottom of the pan about 1/8" deep. Arrange your apple quarters in the pan and cook over medium/high heat until the sugar starts to caramelise. You may need to move the pan around to keep the heat even. Turn each piece of apple over when it is nice and brown, cook the other side. Put dough over top, throw the pan in the oven. Cook until the crust looks good
Ranch Salmon anyone? I like to throw a couple black olives in too. Goes well with the fishy flavour.
Sorry man that ain't vegan so it ain't for me
>>8153291
i was gonna be like "haha op you fucking didn't" but i reversed image search and this woman actually did it
why http://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/2015/05/rosemary-ranch-salmon.html
>And here’s where you turn this salmon into a dish your kids will eat. Ranch. I know it sounds weird but mixed with the lemon and rosemary, it’s divine. My kids eat salmon regularly and used to think it was pink chicken.
Wonderful thing about salmon is it goes with everything.
Anything savoury of course.

Looks like they have A bit too much time on their hands on the web finding "cooking cheats" than actually figuring how to go beyond premixed sauces.
I currently work at a Wine Bar & Grill as a bus boy (I'm 19) and I make around $60 off tips and $40 at $6.18 per hour equating to $100 a night. The place is pretty cozy not too busy so it's manageable but I still put 100% effort in overseeing the little things get taken care of. To be honest I really feel like my effort doesn't match my pay so I'm thinking about applying to some Brazilian steakhouses doing the same deal, I think the effort I put in would fit perfectly with that type of restaurant and the pay will reflect that too. Have any other Anons worked at a steakhouse like that? What's the pay like?
>>8153268
I used to work at Blockbuster and I made like $800 a month. You're rich, lucky bastard.
Wait a minute. Since when do bus boys get tips?
>>8154572
We make a certain percentage off house sales. So if we sell $2,000 worth of food that night I get $60
>>8153286
That's one of the reasons I'm avoiding retail, I can't stand still or work for only an hourly rate, I like being in control that I could go above and beyond and make extra that night helping close or working with the bartenders
Is ketogenic diet safe?
That isn't a keto diet, that's just how you're supposed to eat. Except for the no beans part, what the fuck
>>8153225
Well technically ANY diet is safe until you die from it. Let's stay on the say side. A good diet is one you enjoy.
of course its safe people have lived off of 0 carbs longer than theyve been eating agriculturall produce
