Anyway, what are you going to do in 50+ years when less and less people you know will be alive or will have time for you because they all will be married and have kids.

The value of companionship is huge once you can no longer rely on parents. Having someone to share your life with, share resources with, have a feeling of 'being in it together' -- it's difficult to put into words but it's something which tends to fill a huge void in most people emotionally, and has huge practical uses, like when you're ill or have too many responsibilities.

Unfortunately, this value is most noticeable when they're gone. So you'll complain about them non-stop until they're not there any more, then eventually feel lonely as fuck. You can't have it both ways though.You have to either put up with a lot of bullshit, or have a constant feeling of missing something.

Its not a book but if your wanting to start learning c++ or a few other languages i can suggest sololearn.com its basically like a book but stretched out with quizzes and such so you don't progress unless you know what its trying to teach. If you already know some you can skip sections

I like to be around many different people, and I try to get along with them by reflecting their style and energy. Is this a good strategy to connect with people, or am I losing my identity by trying to be like others?

Considering that it's normal to fluxuate 5+ pounds, you're likely dipping underweight. 26" is an incredibly tiny waist measurement. I only got under that measurement at the height of my anorexia when I was 99lbs 5'4.
Not having a flat belly doesn't mean you're fat. You're dealing with some serious body dysmorphia if you think it's possible for you to look anything like the girl in your picture.

"Skinny fat" is something that is primarily used in the context of weight lifting and body building for men. It is irrelevant for you. Some people consider "skinny fat" ideal for women. I can assure you that you look fine if not great, and are absolutely not fat.
