I like to be around many different people, and I try to get along with them by reflecting their style and energy. Is this a good strategy to connect with people, or am I losing my identity by trying to be like others?

If your not acting like yourself around other people so they like you, they don't like you, they like who they think you are/what they see.

This is a good way to get "friends" and people willing to do things for you, but it isn't a good way to have relationships.

EX of this being a good thing.

We're in commie town, your not a commie, but you pretend like you are so you can get along with everyone and have a nice time.

EX of this being a bad thing

You find someone you like, but you don't think your good enough for them, so you do things you normally wouldn't do to attract their attention and make them like you. This will suck later on because you either have to keep up this act, or eventually they'll be able to tell that wasn't you. Or they won't, they'll just say "You've changed" and move on.

So no, this isn't a good strategy to connect with people, seeing as they connect with not you. It'd be hard to lose your identity by doing this, unless you got so caught up in not being yourself that eventually that's what you become, but that's unlikely and probably not true.

Still a useful skill to have during interviews and commie town though.

Assuming you know a little bit about what your asking, you probably have a large sum of money your willing to pay. If you don't, go home.
What I can recommend is you could pay someone online, or maybe (it'd be a lot harder) in real life, to be your girlfriend for a large, continuous flow of cash. I can't think of any specific sites dedicated to this, but I'm sure they exist. If in the event they don't, you could always make a social media account advertising this. Let me reinstate this would have to be a very large sum of money.

Or god forbid you actually try to like, get a girls respect so she's be your girlfriend for free, but you have money, so that's not an option is it?

Do you think I should stop going to places on the internet centered around mental illness? I know what I've got, and I know how to face it, so I think I should stop. Even looking past how terrible places like /r9k/ are, it seems logical to think that dwelling on your problems only makes them worse, and a person's time is better spent doing things that relax them.

In all honesty, this is what I've done my whole life. I have to recommend the relaxing thing thing, but mix in a little excitement now and then, whatever floats your boat. If your paranoid about doing stuff outside your comfort zone, then don't do it. I don't know what you have, so I can't give super accurate advice, but this should work in general.

Thanks man, I like it. One tricked that helped me for anxiety or screwed-up feelings is to try and imagine the scene from above as a neutral observer, like a ghost. When seen from that angle, it feels silly to get worked up over something that doesn't do anything, and will go away in no time.

Zeke is shortened from Zekial, which is shortened from the biblical name ezekial. Whenever I play games and I need a character name, I always do some spin off of a biblical name so it doesn't sound too edgy. Zeke was a super popular D&D character I had, so I thought why not?

It depends what your looking for, and the circumstances are pretty broad but I'll give it a go anyway.

If your looking for one of those dedicated, 2 way relationships, then I'd probably think about whether or not she feels the same about you as you do her. If your just "door number two" to her, then I would seriously reconsider.

If your looking for a semi serious relationship, IE she likes how you look and vice versa, and just wanna see where things go, go for it, but I'd be careful to watch out for any "door number three" guys that come around, since she might do to you what she did to the first guy.

If your just looking for sex, then the circumstances sound about right.

More specific details would be helpful to both of us, but I think this covers the general area.

I play vidya, sometimes I draw autistic things with free browser programs, sometimes I just sit down and be, I go on /b/ and /adv/ because I like to feel useful, sometimes I go through the woods, or I do stuff like the ice cooler thing.

I like to take all the blankets in my house (very thick blankets) and walk around my house with them draped over my shoulders and one over my head pretending I'm the winter king. But I'll never be the winter king, because what winter king has no ice?

Im very self aware of why i hate myself, and i think i know what i should do to get better. But i lack the drive to make proper change. I am embarrassed by where i am in life and where my life is going.
I have plenty of meaningful relationships in my life, i am well liked by most, im fit and healthy and good looking i guess.

I have been trying lately, but im finding im more addicted to drugs than i thought, and im a worse person than i thought.

My values are pretty fucked up and i would never share them with anyone i know.

I suggest getting some nice free rehabilitation for your drug addictions. Also, you might think your a bad person, but do other people think you are? I think you should tell someone (that knows you and you know, if not, a counselor/psychologist) about your values, and see what they think. I'll be honest, these aren't the worst things in the world to have to go through, (addiction is pretty bad though.) and I have to say I'm glad you at least care enough about the person you hate to get them some help.

I used to work a night shift as an office janitor for few years. It's pretty nice since things are calm and quiet, but it also fucked with my sense of time. Some nights would feel like eternity whereas some nights just flew by.

As for my question, what do you think is better? Pushing yourself towards the ideal version of yourself, or becoming content with your imperfection?

I've had a confusing childhood(moving through many countries and cities, absent parents) and I feel like I grew up missing a few screw in the head.
I tried to fix myself after highschool. I learned to groom and take care of myself, worked some shit jobs, made few friends, tried therapy, and got into uni. But at a point I ran into a wall and I don't think I could progress any further. I don't see certain aspects like my language skills or social skills improving too much because of the lack of exposure at a younger age.

For now I'm kinda wasting my life just doing two things, getting high and studying for class. It's not a bad lifestyle, but every now and I get scared for what's coming.

Also, studying isn't a waste of time, unless you think it is, then you shouldn't do it. Also, hate to be "that guy" but you should probably not do drugs, it'll hit you hard later on, maybe even soon. Also, if your studying for class, I recommend doing some study outside of specific lessons in that field, I did that going through school and it helped me out a lot.
