Who here /homegym/? Gettin tired of gym fees, traveling to the gym after work, stinky indian shitters, and not being able to work out naked. Anybody build one recently? How much did it cost you, what equipment do you have? Etc. Also are rogue racks better than elite fts?

I built one recently after i got my tax return. Cost about 5500 Australian Dollarydoos. Obviously it wouldn't have cost as much if i got regular plates, but i like the wank factor.

I got the 90" Rogue monsterlite rack, i'm above pleased with it. As long as it's sitting flat it hardly rocked when i was trying to move it whilst swinging like a dickhead from the pull up bars.

I recently moved into a 2 bedroom apartment specifically to use the second room for getting in shape. I finished building the gym about a month ago and I've never felt better.

I hate going to the gym. I hate fitness in general. But having this church in my own home means I use it every day if I get the chance. I still lift babyweight, but every week it's a bit more than the week before. That's the whole point, I suspect.

1. check your form (watch videos online and compare, post it here or on other weightlifting forums for criticism

2. eat more

3. sleep more

4. start microloading (buy a set of 1.25 lb plates and increase your OHP by 2.5 lbs instead of 5 lbs)

5. add dumbbell lateral raises and bodyweight chin-ups on the days you don't OHP

The thing about small wrists is, your forearm being small makes your wrist look EVEN smaller. It's like "wow, that WHOLE area near the wrist is tiny, what TINY wrists!" but if you have a well worked forearm, you'll get much thicker quickly up from the wrist, so it just looks aesthetic instead His straight wrist size didn't increase, but the forearm did. This makes the "area of smallness" better, and makes your forearms look decent even with smaller wrists.

tldr if you have smaller wrists, your forearms will be small by default, making your forearms bigger will greatly reduce the "skeleton looking wrists" aesthetic. you can see he still is the same wristsize, but with big forearms it only compliments them instead of destroying them.

How can one cut when in med school? Just studying for MCAT, I've been eating plenty of sugar to keep my brain working, I forced a summer bulk, which I never do.

I had the same thing happen when I was cutting at 1200 calories. Went from 422 to 235, then to 275, now cutting and reshaping.
