/lit/ got me into good literature, but they've progressively grown more leftist and communistic as time went on so I stopped browsing last year. I agree about /pol/ making you hate everything about the world. A lot of the boards are pretty bad now.
I'm pretty fed up with most online forums. It's sad not having a place I feel at home anymore but eh, at least I have hobbies and interests.

The only one I liked was /lit/, other ones were pretty shit. I'm trying to quit 4chan for good though so I'm not going to try some other board, whatever you recommended.

I only go to /fit/ and /toy/. All other boards are too negative. /fit/ is a bit negative too, but I'm not a manlet, not a virgin, not autistic. I'm a lanklet that has been going to the gym religiously for 3 months.
