Is fapping one or twice a week (and not to porn) a better choice than nofap?
What raises your test the most?
What is more healthy for you?
8 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Permanent nofap is a meme and will raise your chance of prostate cancer and kill your libido
Noporn is legit and you should work on dropping it by first starting at lesbians, then solo girls and then your imagination
Only fapping once a week raises test by something like 126% on the last day. i cycle it to ensure I get max test on my most intense days.
1-2 week nofap and noporn is far healthier

Hey guys, could you give me what you consider a good working plan for beginners?

I'm used to working out with a trainer but I've ran out of money. I got a huge amount of machines or however you call them in the basement, but I don't know what schedule to use. I don't trust that much those you find on the internet and I think you guys are better experts at this.

Right now I'm a bit fit, what's normal for my age, I'm 6,1 ft and 197 lbs

In winter I lift naked then go outside in 10 degree weather when I'm done and chill for a few minutes, it's a pretty religious experience...

Do you gain weight simply because of caloric surplus and lose weight because of the lack of calories or is there something more?
pic not related
2 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>42130843
That is correct. Throwing in exercise and stuff will change what your caloric requirements are, but if you account for it and eat less than that you'll lose weight, and if you eat more than that you will gain weight.

Also quit fucking posting inflammatory political images, all it does is start a race war thread.

anybody ever read this?

I wonder if overall human health has declined or not. It seems to me we are capable, with modern knowledge and technology ,able to be much healthier or much less healthy than possible in ancient times
>>
Interesting.
Something fitting for /hisfit/.
>>
>>42130929
We're healthier. Weaker, but healthier. Sure our food is less nutritious and we get less exercise, but 2000 years ago the average man was a half starved, malnourished, diseased, injured, parasitically infested, dying mess and died at 30 because of it.

Alright, so since I have been bulking for pretty much my entire life but never cutting or lifting, I come to you for help.

What's a good starting routine for a retard who wants to stop being a lazy piece of shit?

I... I showed up but I forgot my stuff back at home, so I had to run back and grab it and by the time I got back they were closed.

So is strong lifts 5x5 a good place to start, then just branch out from there when I can actually lift something more than 30 lbs?

Can you run a full body routine every other day without resting weekends? Most routines call for mon/wed/fri but could you just keep going? Also, I do sprints for sport specific work. Should i do them on lifting days or off days, and if lifting, before or after?
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>42130817
It depends on the routine, and how new you are to liftan, if you're a newb doing Starting Strength, you need to rest on the weekends, but is it possible to design an every other day full body fitness regime that you'd do 7 days a fortnight? Certainly, yeah, of course

And I'd do the sprint work at the end of your workout, so it doesn't affect your lifting
>>
>>42130905
Alright, Im running greyskulls lp with a few assistance excercises added right now. Im coming back after a break from lifting so Im trying to get back to where I was asap.
>>
Yeah I did this when I started lifting again recently and it worked fine. Didn't see the need to rest at weekends, felt like a waste of time. You're lifting 7 out of 14 days which is nothing. Intensity might be high but volume wont be too bad by nature of the fact youre doing full body. I really enjoyed it. I hit 3 big compounds each session (legs/pull/push) with a couple of accessories.

Any advice from anyone above the height of 6'3"? manlets please go

are 3x8 workouts the best way to go?
Whenever i try to add volume with high reps and lighter weights I am sore for days and get tennis elbow with bicep exercises
I never have this issue with heavy weights and longer rest periods in-between sets
thoughts?

How true is this

Been doing 1 hour ED on a cut so it doesn't really matter to me ATM since I am starving myself anyway, but when I start bulking I don't want to eat too much or too little

It's true that doing cardio, esp HIIT, increases your metabolic rate for a period afterwards. But he's exaggerating and twisting it into something a lot more significant than it is (like every fitness youtuber does).

Would taking a form of martial arts as a fat guy be a good way to lose weight?

I've been walking/jogging up and down my street daily, and I've changed up my diet, but I saw this martial arts gym near my house, and I've heard it's a good way to drop some weight.

>>42130450
Depends on the martial art and how fat you are. If you're still massive, most martial arts will just fuck your knees like running would.
>>
>>42130476
There's two studios.
One's kickboxing, and the others Jiu-Jitsu.

Last time I weighed almost 400lbs, which is what made me go on a strict diet, and is what made me start exercising.

I'm young though, and 6'2".
>>
>>42130512
Just eat less until you're under at least 300 desu lad. Also try and do research and make sure neither of those are meme gyms just trying to scam money. Young doesn't mean shit if you tear up your joints, they don't heal like other shit.
