Can I do abs/cardio on my "rest" days while doing SS?

Cardio probably yeah. Abs no. You don't want to be doing squats and deadlifts with weak abs. Do abs on your workout days.

Abs yes, as long as you don't exhaust them completely you'll still have enough stability to squat/deadlift

Cardio no, because it will wear your legs out and you won't be able to recover. If you're going to do cardio do it after you lift

I'm currently trying to cut with intermittent fasting, but when i'm about 12 hours into fasting, my stomach rumbles very loudly. Is there any way to reduce this noise?

All my life i thought i was supposed to do go until my max number of reps each set. Recently I heard somebody say thats not how it should be done and that you should do less reps than your actual max.

AMRAP is not good in my opinion because it asks for more energy on the ass end of the set/workout of that area. Like 2x5 +1xF, you are somehow supposed to have more energy at the end than the beginning. If you can AMRAP more than the rest of your sets, then you were lifting too light.

Are there some people that are prone to headaches/migraines on this board ?
I've been trying to follow different routines/sports to get some actual strength but even If I manage to stick to it as best as I can i'll end up loosing tons of progress because working out makes the pain worse.
Does someone have some tips with headache management while following a routine ?

Nice trips. Anyways, fellow migrainebro here. I'm 32 and started getting them around nine years old. My migraines and tension headaches are bad enough that i throw up and can't even sit up straight.

My recommendation is to:

This is the biggest one. Read up on buddhism and meditation. Can literally change your life
>stop drinking alcohol and watch foods with MSG
Not a meme. Even one beer on draught can give me terrible headaches that last a better part of a day. You don't need that shit. Watch out for processed foods.
>have a consistent sleep and eating schedule
Seriously, this one is huge.

It's tough man. I get exertion headaches sometimes and can't even finish half of my workouts. Focus on managing stress, sleep, amd diet and there should be a marked improvement.

Not OP but I pulled my back doing kettle bell swings and the doctor laughed me out of the room. I had lost weight and so thought I had a slipped disc, doc refused to get it scanned even though I had a walking stick and struggled to get out of bed for 2 weeks but after 6 months it was back to normal and I could do bent over rows. Still keenly aware of it in every moment because of how long i dealt with it.

Yeah, load up on protein, like tons of the stuff, and you'll get sore muscles more so creatine helps.

Keep your body tight with omega fish oils too, and sunny D vitamins

basically, do the usual to keep yourself healthy, and out some money and effort into it, and you can make gains. It won't be dirty bulk tier, but it'll happen
