PHAT or "Full-body workout every other day"

Which one and why?

I've been doing PHAT for some months now and.... meh?
I've recently started doing
>Squats
>Deads
>Rows
>OHPs
>Bench
>pullups
>curls
>flies
>accesory core excercises
as my routine, every other day instead.

I have a feeling he's gonna do it for real this time. He's going under the knife to get that stomach surgery, and then he has to commit. He'll literally die if he eats too much after the surgery.

Yeah, my lifts do increase on preworkout. But is it because the caffeine gives me more energy, or because it artificially motivates me to use the energy I had to begin with?

Let's have a feels thread, /fit/. Here's my story:

>Be me. In grad school. Dating a great girlfriend.
>We lift together all through the first semester. Her shit was weak, but she kept me motivated.
>Both making good strength and aesthetics gains at a good pace.
>I got fucking arrogant.
>I hated my school's gym, so I didn't reup my membership when the first semester ended. I planned on going to the expensive hardcore kickass gym 10 minutes away during the second semester. I wanted to be efficient, and frankly, spotting her and having her spot me was a waste of time if a powercage was available.
>School got super busy. I never got a membership at Gym Kickass. We both stopped lifting.
>I focused mostly on school. I got really depressed. Emotions were numbed by shitty mental illness.
>Lost feelings for wifematerial gf. Broke up with her at the end of the second semester.
>Keep being depressed for a few weeks.
>Finally come out of it and get a membership at Gym Kickass.
>Holy shit 5 fucking powercages (vs. the 2 at the school's gym).
>I'll never need a spotter again.
>Lift for a few weeks. Kick depression in the asshole. Regain some gains.
>No longer emotionally numb.
>Holy shit I loved that woman.
>Try to get back together. I just wanted a chance to take her out on a date and show her I wasn't the same depressed loser that dumped her. I was thrilled with the idea of winning her back.
>Two weeks after we broke up, she had found "the one."
>Fuck.
>Heartbroken.
>Keep lifting. Good things will come. Shit this sucks though.

The moral of the story is don't fucking stop lifting. Pic related. Basically me during that scene, except replace the words "sword" with "barbell" and "son" with "girlfriend."

Shello guys got any tips for a " fat " ( not really fat more like belly fat ) 13 y/o kid? I mean I used to be super skinny and never go up in weight even if I ate like a madman but then I moved and didnt go out that much and played lots of league of legends in fact I got like 3000+ hours on it in only 2 years so I want tip on a mini diet or like things I just shouldnt eat / drink, workouts etc please help :D! If you just flex as hard as you can every day you'll get shredded eventually.

Old time strongmen used to just flex all the time along with some bodyweight training and look at then.

You don't need any equipment or to even go anywhere or do anything. It helps to have a mirror but it isn't necessary. Just flex like crazy all the time and you'll make it.

I am deprived of the gym for the next year or so, because I'm working 10 hrs a day + 1 hr commute each way.. Also, I'm trying to save money to pay off student loans, get a home gym, and a car. I was wondering what the most effective way to keep gaining (though I know it will be slower) with the following:

>Pull up/dip station
>Adjustable curl bar that goes up to 70 ilbs, with 4 14.0 Ilb pl8s, 2 8.0 ilb pl8s, and 2 4.0 ilb pl8s

I'm 6ft/195 Ilbs, about 16% BF. I bike about 25 miles 5 days a week. I believe I'd need around 3700 calories daily to keep gaining weight. Does this sound accurate?

Specifically I hope to one day reach the Driver (or I guess Goose) mode, as I'm trying to imitate my autistic hero.

On a side note, I've been imitating his mannerisms for the last several months, and its going pretty well. I've already got my blue belt in BJJ. I've also been reading books on car mechanics. Once I buy/pay off everything, I plan on doing 6 months of boxing, taking a gun safety/handling course, maybe some sort of stunt driving course, as well as trying to get some sort of driving-related job. Probably Uber to start.

Any suggestions (mostly on routine, but also on becoming a real human bean)?

This guy got lucky, but everything Driver did was planned in advance and choreographed and rehearsed. That means that shit can't happen in real life. If you were going to act like Driver at a party, you'd come off as incredibly autistic.

If you really want to be like Driver or have that appeal he had. It's simple, wear your personality. People associate the Driver with neon, or synthwave, or being broody and reclusive and sometimes explosively violent. You are not Driver. Think about who you are as a character and act like you are a character. You like car shit and martial arts? Wear a leather jacket, be talkative, be outward, which is pretty much the opposite of Driver. Be more like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse.

Also, cut for four weeks, do keto for the last two weeks and cycle carbs back up to re-adjust your body to them before just sticking to maintenance.

Actually I have done it at parties. I don't go full autism mode (i'm well aware that I can't get through life literally just repeating the Driver's lines.) I just say the minimal, but act reasonably friendly (as to not come off as standoffish) and wait 2 full seconds before responding. Actually, its helped a lot since I'm normally autistic as fuck. I don't end up saying anything weird, but still manage to hold a conversation.

For example, at the last party, this girl asked me if I worked out

Also thanks for the dieting advice. I've never really done anything that wasn't bulking (I was originally an autistic auschwitz turbonerd) so I'll have to look into it.

I don't actually care about martial arts. I only did BJJ in HS because I got bullied pretty hard due to my autism and physique. I figured blue belt was as good a place as any to stop, as I can already outgrapple 99.9% of the population, and I only really want it for self defense. Since I rarely get into fights anymore, I only really want boxing and the gun safety thing to be a better fighter like the Driver. Of course self-defense is a definite bonus.

I ate literally 1kg of salad right now and I still feel hungry. Is this normal? Why does it seem like eating salad is almost the same thing as drinking water? It's low in calories but what's the point of eating it if it doesn't fill you up?
