My roommate and my gf get along really well. At first I was relieved but now I am not sure how to feel. Gf is 17, I am 19, roommate is 24. They always seem to be flirting and kinda physical. Like she'll lay on the couch with him or he'll squeeze her butt. She tells me it's like how brothers and sisters act and not to worry but I do worry. He's way more confident and attractive than me and I know one of my gf's kinks is big dicks and muscles and having accidentally walked in on him showering I know he has both. Once when we all had a few drinks and watched Netflix I fell asleep and when I woke up I thought I saw her going down on him but I don't know for sure. Should I feel this concerned? Am I being silly? How do I strike up conversation with grills in nightclubs and parties?

I'm 24, I've had 3 relationships and 3 one night stands and with all of them the girls approached me first. I've tried approaching them after they gave me hinting looks and each time I just spilled my spaghetti all over the floor. Hell, last year my gay flatmate told me he overheard one of his friends saying she found me attractive and I noticed she kept standing near me at gatherings but I was never able to start any conversation other than basic niceties.

Seriously, what do guys say to women to start the conversation? When I try the words just don't come out.

TL:DR my gf changes her behavior a lot in social situations and it makes me feel insecure. I think it because i have some self-esteem issues more than it is her fault. How do i deal with these feels?

She is really chill when we are alone but gets really swept up in social situations so I sort of feel like i'm dating a new person when we're out together which is weird for me.

Problem is I sort of feel like Rory (from Amy Pond and Rory- on Doctor Who) in these situations. How do i deal with this? I don't really want to talk to her about it as I will just sound like an insecure, jealous mo fo.

For instance on a night out we met this alpha guy (let's call him anon) in a pub and later that night he disappeared off and she was like 'oh! where's anon gone? We've lost anon.' a few times. Then later when we got home she was like 'oh anon is a really cool guy' . I was like.. 'haha yeah, i guess' while inwardly screaming lol. Why am i so insecure!

Currently wondering if I should pursue this 6-months relationship.

I think the main issue is that there was was no big spark. From the get go, I was interested in her personality and not really physically. However it turned out that we had much less in common than I thought. I think that's why I still don't feel "in love" after 6 months, because I can't share my life yet.

On the other hand, she's extremely willing to talk about all this with a calm mind, and work on this. She has already shown to do a lot, and started picking up an interest (or more exactly getting more interested than she was) in what I do over the last few months, and we've started honestly sharing a few things.

On paper, she has everything I'm looking for except what we've been working on. So I think I should fall in love if I invest myself more in the relationship too. But she's (rightly) getting impatient and asking me to be more involved too if I wish for this to go on.

What should I do /adv/?

Am I insane or is the current model of the real estate business utterly and completely fucked?? What got my jimmies rustled was that I found a house about 6 months ago that I could have afforded - it was under $100,000, so the mortgage might be around $300 - $400. Fast forward to where I can't get a home loan because I don't have credit because I thought going into debt was a bad thing, and that house sold and was immediately put back on the rental market for $750 a month.

This has to be a fucking joke. Does anyone understand that house prices simply cannot infinitely go higher and higher?? A house that was built for $40,000 sells for $80,000 then sells for $120,000 then sells for $200,000, meanwhile the actual cost of the house was always fixed and people are creating money out of thin air. People NEED houses; it's a necessity, not a luxury. A 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house simply should not be "too expensive" for anyone.

So the circle I'm in now is that I can afford a reasonable first-house mortgage, but I can't get a loan because I haven't rented before (or taken out credit) because I literally can't afford it. On paper, I "can't afford" a mortgage, but in order to "afford" it, I have to pay twice that mortgage in rent. How does anyone sleep at night knowing that this is how it works? Millions of people are utterly fucked over.

Hey /adv/, senior in highschool here. Up until a few days ago I had no ambitions for life whatsoever but I spontaneously turned that around and was hoping you guys could help me refine my plans for life. The three things I always wanted to do as a child was;
1. Serve in the military (what little boy doesn't dream about this at one point or another)
2. Own a farm (the countryside is to comfy, fuck urban areas)
3. Get paid to talk about History (been obsessed with history ever since I was old enough to read)
So I've come up with a sort of 3-step plan to fulfill all those ambitions, here it is. After reading please help me refine it and make it more plausible. Cheers in advance.

>Get and hold part-time job over summer and throughout first 4 years of college
>Go to community college to get basics out of the way because cheap
>Push myself as hard as bossible in 1st year and after 1st year ends, enlist in Air Force Reserves
>Best pay, best benefits
>Finish 2nd year
>Go to a university and get a 2-year degree in agriculture
>When I finish I'll be around 22 and will have saved up 3 salaries from AFR and part-time job money
>I've calculated I'll have (very, very roughly) $20,000
>But land in north eastern Arizona for several reasons
>Generally cheap (about 37 acres for $18,000)
>Good good farmland
>Want to go to uni in Arizona
>Parents at this time will live in Arizona so if I absolutely flop, it'll only be a 4 hour drive to Phoenix
>Maybe live w/ parents while setting up and building farm
>Get full time job at this point to support myself and afford farm equipment, etc.
I've set aside 1-2 years for the set up of my farm where I'm just holding a full-time job and getting the farm running
>I'll be around 24 by the time farm is operational so I'll move out of barent humble abode
>Quit full time job
>Get part-time job
>With money I've hopefully been able to set aside during the 2 years of full-time work, apply to Arizona Uni's

I don't really have any easy and painless means of suicide but I do own a handgun replica (co2 bb gun designed to look like a sig sauer p2022). It doesn't have any easily identifiable markings (i,e orange tips). What if I were to get the attention of the police (drive recklessly, call them to my house, etc) and pull it on them? If I can't find another method could this work? Police are trained to kill with the first shot right so as long as they're doing their job, I should be dead right?

i need some advice on how to get over my relationship that ended about 2 years ago. we met online she was way out of my league back then but somehow we fell in love and it was great, 2 years later things started to feel odd and we weren't getting along as we used to i thought i didn't love her anymore so i broke it up, two years later here i am, still think about her everyday, she has a boyfriend now and she's quite happy we still talk now and then. did i make the wrong decision? how do i get over this? in this two year period i haven't even kissed anybody. questions and all replies are welcome
