hey guys i just want to share some advice with you, i have crippling depression but after drinking dandelion root tea which is packed with a load of antioxidants, probably more than green tea, it actually stabilized my mood and is making me happy for no reason and wanting to do more with my life. if you dont want to drink the tea (it kinda tastes like wood) try buying L-theanine, not 5 htp or tryptophan!! your body will get rid of the second two but almost always metabolozes L theanine.
Also i havent felt this happy in years.

TL;DR - I am being held by my family against my will and I don't know what to do.
Without going into too much detail, I came to Calgary to live with my grandparents. I decided to move here but I bought a return ticket just in case.
I told them that I actually want to leave because I didn't tie up all my loose ends. At first one of them says it's ok, then they discuss it and it's a massive issue - they're trying to manipulate me and guilt me into staying, I think they might completely try to bar me from going.
I'm changing details of this, it's actually scarier than I can convey here.
Should I try to find a place to stay for the week and a half I have remaining on my ticket? Or just ride it out? I don't know anyone here.

Btw, I live in Calgary, there's a bus that goes directly to the airport from downtown and another from sandstone. You can always just take a taxi too

For anyone who's lost someone close to them, how long does it take for you to finally just move past them? Not forget them or ignore them, but to stop thinking about their death so much?
Any advice would do, I think about my friend still almost every day and it still hurts.

If you lose someone so close to you and so unexpectedly, you don't just move on - you basically learn to move around their death. Go to therapy, learn how to cope with it positively, and try to think about the happy memories you have with them and not about their death.

Hey fellas, I am looking to divorce my wife, we've had on going issues for a while and she's constantly verbally abusive and i'm all around tired of the BS. I haven't the courage yet to upfront and tell her and now we have a child this is putting a huge strain on my mental state. I don't know if i'll be able to afford leaving her or not, how much will I be paying in child support/alimony when this is over do you think? Met this girl online about a week ago. Been chatting and texting and the convo has been really good.
Hit her up earlier in the week asking if she'd want to catch a movie some time later in the week. She says 'Sure.' I ask her on Thursday if she's available Saturday evening. Her response is "Maybe. I was invited to something, but I'm not sure if I'm going or not lol." Says she'll get back to me. Haven't heard from her all day so ask her yesterday evening "So whats Saturday evening looking like?" She calls me a few hours later while in her car, makes some small talk about her work day and how she's on the way to a friend's house and makes no mention of Saturday. I tell her I'm still waiting to know what we're doing, she sort of dodges it and tells me she'll call me later.
It's Saturday morning. I don't have shit going on today and my evening is certainly free, but at this point I feel that if she hits me up in the next few hours saying she's up to get together tonight that I'd just be delivering the message that it is appropriate to string me along and not give me any real notice until the last minute like I have nothing better to do.
If she wants to go, tell her "I've already made other plans", or let it slide?

Is it worthwhile, or is it an opiate for the masses, for people that have nothing better to engage themselves in? I do it occasionally and while it can be fun in the moment, I find that you pay a debt the following day with a hangover.
