There's literally nothing wrong with being a goblin. They're a proud race with a rich history.

Prime material plane races have to stick together. Save that piss and vinegar for outsiders.
Why do certain people in this interest group tend to exhibit similar awkward facial hair and cosmetic features?
I'm a big fan of tabletop games and I play Star Wars Force and Destiny and Pathfinder weekly. I also have a great job as a bar manager and have a wife and one kid. I look like a regular handsome American. Yet the people I play with have long hair, are over weight or insanely skinny fat, have strange teeth and facial features, and act really awkward outside of the game table.
My incredibly hot wife and I love these guys, but I can't help but notice a trend and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed it and have an explanation?
>>49557213
Damn, your wife is hot.
You know the rules, pics of you with the wife or you're just attention whoring.
>>49557213
Is that your wife, OP?
Are you a Dwarf?
My DM is my best friend. We share a lot, and one thing he has told me about is his magical realm.
I wish he hadn't.
Suddenly, I realized that this magical realm one way or another has been pivotal in every game he has ever run. Every princess that's been kidnapped, every drop priestess that's our main villain, every bar wench that's been a mcguffin, every rogue hacker that we've had to take down.
I've always wondered why he would get so worked up over seemingly random parts of the sessions and campaigns, I thought it was just passion or his poor health. But now I know.
I can't scour my brain and I can't stop being uncomfortable about it. The rest of the group however doesn't know and his games are fun otherwise. But now that I do know, and I can see that every one of our group members have been affected by his magical realm, I just don't think I can handle being used that way again for what I know is his personal sexual gratification.
Should I confront him about it and tell him to stop or just find a new group?
Anon, meet me over at camera three.
Listen, we need to have a serious heart-to-heart here. You cannot come here and say all… THAT… and not explain what the magical realm actually was. We need details, Anon. Details—do you understand me?
Do you? Great; good. Glad we had this talk.
Now, remember: details, capicse?
>>49555072
>confront him about it and tell him to stop
This one.
Tell him that it's no different than if he was fondling his balls through his pocket in public, or knocking things over 'accidentally' so that he could ogle asses when people bend down to pick their shit up.
It's disrespectful and incredibly creepy to rope others into exploring your fetish without them knowing.
>>49555184
Seconding this. I have a mighty need to know.
Mod, you're probably going to delete this for being off-topic, but could you at least read through the OP before doing so?
There are a number of threads on here that have the same issue as Quests(low user count, high Front Page Presence) that should be moved to /qst/. I'm referring to the Risk Threads, PBP Skirmish Threads, and RP threads like the Mages Guild. These should be moved to /qst/, and /qst/ should expand its narrow focus to include all threads where games are actually played, leaving /tg/ as a pure Discussion thread. This would have the benefit of removing further bloat from the front page, and expanding the /qst/ userbase, hopefully putting an end to the barrage of Questfags/Anti-Questfags on here.(For the record, I'm not part of either side, I'm just sick of the threads de-railing then getting deleted because of it.)
You know the thread at the bottom of the page right now is a retarded 0 replies shitpost which was posted 4 hours and 25 minutes ago, and is just now about to drop off the board, right? There's plenty of room on the board for the remaining thread games.
>>49549488
If I'm not mistaken, some of those actually are suppsoed to go on /qst/ already.
I'm pretty sure for example the Risk games are SUPPOSED to be on /qst/.
>>49549563
So why Don't mods crack down on those threads as well? They're pretty dedicated to removing Quests and Off-topic posts.
How do you like your Paladins;
Lawful Good, or Other?
>>49549399
I like them to be applicable to their respective faith. So basically anything but true neutral or lawful neutral, because those are boring.
>>49549605
I'll agree with you on true neutral but Lawful Neutral can definitely be not boring. Image related sometimes.
>>49549672
Excuse me, Lieutenant.
If our primary weaponry is laser based with no appreciable recoil and near light speed impact time, why are we only BS 3?
>>49549320
Laser pointers don't hurt much, Guardsman
>>49549320
Fuck off with your gay forced meme.
>>49549330
So the BS 3 and S 3 is a combination effect to reflect high-accuracy, low damage weapons?
I can pay that. I was going to ask why not make it BS 6 and S 1, but then I realised that would mean there would be some units that it would be impossible to wound with a lasgun. The stats must thus represent mass, co-ordinated fire over single shots.
>Player turns enemy into animal
>Plans on keeping them as a pet.
Is it just me or is that kind of fucked up? I always hear the argument that it's a hell of a lot nicer than killing them, but like, by that logic isn't slavery nicer?
Should this be considered an evil action?
>>49548320
It should be considered a lethally erotic action.also yes
Magical Realm thread?
>>49548320
I mean...in a lot of settings slavery isn't automatically evil. Prison time, where you do work isn't evil either....It's similar, in a way.
Excuse me, Patriarch?
Now that we've sucessfully overthrown the planetary governor, what exactly did we plan to do? Correct me if I'm wrong, but im not entirely sure we had planned anything AFTER seizing power, aside from converting the rest of the populace.
>>49543006
We eat everything, use the biomass to produce a new swarm, and move on to the next planet. I'm not sure why no one told you already, I guess they just assumed it was so intuitive that they didn't need to.
Holy shit I haven't seen one of these in a while
>>49543021
But how, sir? Were not exactly Tyranids, nor do we have the ability to create bio-forms such as rippers or capillary towers.
What are ways a mad scientist can fund his crazy experiments if he isn't already rich?
Drug cooking. Taking cities hostage (very popular with pulp era mad scientists). Repairing electric appliances. Reviving pets from the dead.

Crime of course, rob a bank. It's the true classic.

ITT: Post your group's in jokes
Gary- A socially maladjusted weirdo for whom gaming is his life. They can be identified by an obnoxious laugh, blissful ignorance of social cues and a foul stench born of a deep aversion to bathing.
For the longest time, "Gary" was my game group's shorthand for "That Guy." This was after gaming together for the better part of a decade and going through at least 3 players all of whom were named Gary and all of whom were top-tier That Guys.
After we finally gave Gary #3 the boot for the "suck it bitch" incident, we made a secret rule that nobody named Gary was allowed to join the group.
"Don't be a Gary." Became a joking refrain thereafter until my old game group finally split for good.
>>49537616
> the "suck it bitch" incident
>>49537616
Seriously, from what body part does that smell proceed? It's not ass, is it just really rank underarm? Maybe its dickcheese that's way past its sell by date. What do these people do to themselves to smell like a car battery that exploded in a Chipotle dumpster?

For those who aren't caught up.
A store in Japan has funded a massive tournament to try out a new eternal format called "Frontier". This format involves cards from M15 onwards, and will essentially be a "Fixed" modern.
The first thread had a few decent brew ideas with a lot of shitposting about how CoCo would just dominate and ruin the format. Is Bant Company really too good for Neo-Modern? Would the problem just solve itself after future set releases, as we expand from "Just extended" to a true, non rotatory format?
Discuss.
>>49537083
For those who are unaware, Frontier Legal sets at this point would be:
M15
Khans of Tarkir
Fate Reforged
Dragons of Tarkir
Magic Origins
Battle For Zendikar
Oath of the Gatewatch
Shadows Over Innistrad
Eldritch Moon
Kaladesh
Other things to note:
>Allied fetch lands are legal.
>Chord of Calling is legal.
>Enemy fast lands have just been printed.
>Battle lands are fetchable
>Eldrazi are playable without Eye of Ugin/Eldrazi temple
>>49537083
> Shitty neo-Extended
> Japs
So why did they choose to start at M15 and not Origins? Was it just specifically to include fetches and walkers before Khans?

Why do the Aedra always seem to be more powerful than the Daedra, when everything in their being seems to make them weaker? They're not eternal, they cannot directly interact with the world, and yet anything from the Aetherium tends to command the most earth-shattering surreal power, whereas Daedric magics tend to be quite powerful, but nowhere near as mysterious or world-shaking.
>>49512754
Aedra are more anuic in their nature, while Daedra are more padomeic. Because of this, Aedra have the power to *create*, while Daedra only have the power to *change*.
>>49512982
So the fact that the Daedra didn't take part in the construction of Mundus means that while they retained all that change power they CANNOT create now?

What kinds of fantasy tropes do you avoid using?
