His only crime was trying to do the right thing.
That's just about every Primarch's 'only crime.'
I'm pretty sure he's also committing some heinous crimes against fashion there.

boo fucking hoo, lets get some real talk going, the greatest force in the 40k Galaxy is the Imperial Navy, it's the most important part of the entire Imperium. No space marines, no sororitas, no grey knights.
They are all not worth SHIT without the Imperial Navy, fuck all your ground battles, they are peanuts compared to whats happening in space.
If Space Marines win a hundred battles on ground, but are stuck on the planet because the Chaos Navy has their ships burning, they aren't worth SHIT. Thats why abbadon keeps failing, not because of the loyal space marines, or because he doesn't have hands, but because the Imperial Navy keeps pushing his shit back into the galactic asshole he calls home.
Just saying. while you are playing war on the Ground, the brave Captains and Admirals of the Navy keep your planet save.

Play Battlefield Gothic then.
Incidentally I never understood how in a sci-fi setting with warp/hyperspace drive territories are supposed to "hold the line".
I mean what tactical use is Cadia besides simple territory? Why can't the traitor fleets just warp right into the Segmentum Solar?
The only setting I can really remember giving an explanation to this (and I'm not saying it's the only one) was Halo, where the answer was basically "we can't 'hold the line' we just have to keep the locations of our worlds secret".
But everybody knows where Terra is, it's where that giant warp-light is emanating from!

How do we fix clerics, they're so fucking boring.
Has anyone played Adventure in Middle Earth
>>49548690
Try plaing a different build, maybe arcane cleric or war cleric.
Being a Healing Cleric sucks (At least for me, is so boring), try using your spells or actions to prevent damage, instead of healing it.
Prevent damage:
- Killing a really dangerous opponent
- Moving from harm a friend
- Protection spells
- Debuff Spells on enemies
- Staggering an enemie
- Buffing Friend for THP, AC, AB, AD, etc.
Helping the encounter end faster.
For roleplaying, try to look diferent kinds of clerics, some that come to mind:
- Thoros of Myr, (Red Priest) of Games of Thrones
- Warrior Priest of Sigmar, from Warhammer
- Couple of Clerics that appear in Elminister book (I remember them for being treasure hunters)
I know they are way more and better examples, but I still haven't finish my coffee, and probably will need more.

Nope, but I will like to try it, seems really easy to adapt into the "new" rules, the problem here will be de quality of the DM (is LOTR).
>furfags will defend this
You guys are a million times more annoying than the furfags themselves.
>>49545573
>Ginyu force will defend this
>>49545573
>People who don't know what an actual furfag is will argue this
>Your DM decides his next campaign will be about cute girls committing cute acts of terrorism in a dystopian future
Would you play with him, or does this cross the line for you? What system would you prefer he'd use for this?

I'd suggest we just cut to the chase and play Nechronica.
I need art!

I can't believe there are people vigorously defending this product.
>I legitimately don't care how playable these cards end up being. All I know is that my 11 year old sister is really excited to get a Chandra card, and that's good enough for me.
>New players wanting to see a variety of cards is why I start off my friends with sealed. Lets them see a decent sized selection of cards and then also make cuts and changes to their deck as they learn what cards work and what cards don't.
>I came back to the game 2 years ago (almost exactly) and the first MTG product I bought after a decade-long hiatus was the KTK Intro Pack with Ankle Shanker on the front. I paid $15 for it at Walmart and inside one of the two included boosters my rare was a Flooded Strand. When I looked up the value at the time, I realized I'd gotten my Intro Pack for "basically free!"
>Sure, I didn't get a competitive deck but I didn't expect that the $15 product I was buying from Walmart was a tournament caliber deck. That didn't matter to me, and it doesn't matter to the parents and casual players that I see come into my LGS all the time. They don't begin to know where to start, and they certainly don't walk in with a list of 40+ singles. So they buy Intro Packs and Duel Decks AND THEN THEY PLAY THE GAME WITH THEM.
Of course it's not worth it.
It's never worth it to buy any sealed product, constructed or otherwise.
I'd still consider Jank Nissa in certain EDH decks
I have no problem with new blood, scrubs like big numbers and timmy shit and can't evaluate cards, so I trade my ten cent rares for their value
>>49538912
>i dont care for the "value". are they fun to play so i can use them to introduce magic to my friends?
Are Magic customers actually retarded?
I like to believe we've all been, at some point, so desperate to play or GM as part of a group that you've been willing to put up with some serious bullshit.
Personally I have put up with:
>That guy who constantly bails to go drinking because he is a college age 20-something.
>That guy who wants to play as a magical anime girl.
>That fat girl who has to constantly reminds the group how hot her character is and how her character is always wearing a corset.
And Finally
>that asshole who never brings snacks yet always partakes in the food everyone else brought.
What has the rest of /tg put up with just to actually play a game?
>>49536847

New to an area, about 10 years or so ago. (At the time) gf introduced me to her friends who had a weekly game of something-or-other.
>gf's best friend is dating this absurd asshole because of... mental problems, I think
>dude is seriously the only THAT GUY I've ever met - no one else could ever be worse than him, to me
>their roommate is a cool dude
>various other people are in and out of game for 1 or 2 sessions
>THAT GUY, every session, seems to get into a stupid childish argument with a player over some dumbass thing or another
>gf's best friend doesn't really know how to stand up for herself, so usually let's him win whatever the issue is
I have grown to hate the word "semantics" because inevitably that was his comeback for everything.
"You're just arguing semantics."
We all hated you, bud. We were just afraid of hurting her by telling you you stunk, you were childish, and you don't know the meaning of the word you used.
My dudes, I'm interested in the stories about you guys.
Has table-top roleplaying affected your life in any way? Did it help you cope with something or act as a release valve for something else? Do you think it made anyone you know worse off?
Anything from heart-warming things that occurred because you played Ryuutama to cringe worthy tales of something that totally didn't happen during a larp, please share 'em.

There's the idea of containing your powerlevel with nerdy-sort of interests.
Well /tg/ taught me about containing your powerlevel with personality. Can't think of a better way of describing it, but I think I used to be a funny guy jokester in a pretty annoying, even abrasive way, basically chaotic neutral character tendencies IRL. That Guy almost but not in an offensive way I think. Playing tabletop and being in that community, and perhaps /tg/ most of all, made me able to notice it and take a step back and look at it, and able to stop it. If I was going to put on therapist pants, I'd guess it was a desire to be liked by people by trying to be funny and wacky, but I came to realize I didn't have to try to be like anything (or at least something else) for people to like me.
All of that, and then also most of my current friends are via tabletop community.
At the request of either a curious Inquisitor, or perhaps the Magos Biologis, an Astartes chapter (your choice) is tasked with capturing pic related.

What conspiracy theories can you shove into an "all the conspiracies were true" type setting that aren't as well known as the Illuminati or the Roswell incident?
>>49523878
My favorite will always be Catholicism conspiracies. Or the idea that the Catholic church's archives are not allowed to be touched because they know something we don't.
Flat Earth/Pond Earth/Concave Earth/combination of all three
Moon is a hologram
Our world is 200 years old, all of history is fake
UFOs are demons
"Inside the hollow Earth are aliens, Nazis, and the Lost Tribes of Israel"
Nazis colonized Antarctica, New Swabia
Nazi bases on the Moon
Sentient dinosaurs escaped into space before the Extinction Event, are now coming back
Deep Underground Military Bases (Dulce) connected via tunnels with glass trains
British send people into space they came back merged with mushrooms due to space radiation now it's a god that doesn't really do anything, it's stowed away on an underground base
If you're running a crazy conspiracy game online I wanna join

So this is basically a thread for people who are literally too retarded to click on the little link to /vg/ up on the top of the screen? That's sad.
>>49508882
/vg/ just talks about the actual game, in these threads we talk about the setting like a bunch of nerds.
So, how about that statue of the pregnant tauren lady in egyptian-like clothes in kharazhan's crypts, eh? What's up with that?
How do you reckon ironforge gryphon riders fight?
Stormhammers are supposed to be kinda iconic for the wildhammers, so I assume the ironforge dwarves would fight in some other way from a gryphon.
Mountain Kings have stormbolts though so maybe it wouldn't be that different.
