Welcome Back, Commander.
----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
When we left off, our brave Commander and Crew decided to go on a life or death mission to obtain necessary supplies for the last of the human race to survive another century.

After traveling hearing they would be traveling for almost 9 hours, they decided that checking up on the good ship Medic, Marin, would be a fantastic move. There they were alerted to the fact that the ship may have been given medical supplies that were years past their date of creation.

Being the brave captain that they are, they decided to take one of these medicines, only to be infected with a disgusting worm that worked it's way through their body, and while it hurt like a bitch, it did allow them and the medic some.... quality time together. However due to the worm, they have nearly double the strength they normally had, at a price of not being good at anything else.

After making contact with Lynn, the home world's figure head, and their only contact from home so far, they entered the orbit of Sygan's Moon. And after viewing a spectacular view, they found out their path was blocked by a blazing comet. Our story continues here.

>[Check Stats, inventory, and Crew to see if all are Ok. We need to be ready for whatever this thing could be.]
>[Tell the pilot to land the ship on Sygon's Moon. Not only would it be good to wait, but you could find supplies.]
>[Tell the pilot to blast into the comet full speed ahead. What's a little flaming ball of gasses going to do to your impeccable ship?]

You decide to order your pilot to land the ship and wait for the Comet to pass. Besides. There's no way you could continue onward without some supplies.
>[Roll 1d10 and go searching for supplies yourself. You don't trust any of them to do anything right.]
>[Order some of your crew to go find supplies. You're the Commander for this mission, so you can relax.]

Part 1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/232292/

The plot so far: In the spring of the last year (ingame), ten giants left their former tribe and struck out to make a tribe of their own. The Cewri Tribe, as they came to be called, established a village called Anor Londo in the foothills of the Gargan Mountains. Leading these giants is Chieftain Gough, a mighty hill giant whose leadership has proven to be invaluable to the tribe. The first year proved to be a race against time to get enough supplies for the winter, which worked out very well. Along the way, the hill giants picked up many allies, including the human farmer Wilbur, the champion archer Armagga, Elmagh the Priestess of Fire, Wor the shaman, and Balgmar the Champion of Stronk. Additionally, they gained the favor of two gods, Lava Mama and Stronk Dad, who gave birth to the first hill giant. Late in the winter, the giants captured the human village of Welsten Village, and in response the Kingdom of Brylon declared war on the giants, thus beginning a new age of conflict and conquest.

>Deciding what to do with the humans
After the conquest of Welsten (now known as New Londo), fierce bickering began as to what to do with the human targets. The Giant Supremacist faction wanted to make the humans into slaves while the more progressive members of the tribe opted to let the humans continue as they were. With no clear consensus as to what to do, Chieftain Gough decides that, as an act of compromise, the city would be placed under martial law, and the humans (minus Wilbur) would be indentured until martial law was lifted.
>Visiting Koggarach
Now that spring has come, the giants make another trip to Koggarach. The first to arrive are Elmagh and the priestess acolyte, who preach to the tribe about Lava Mama and Stronk Dad. As the giants of Koggarach had no existing faith, the religion spreads quickly to the village. Next came Chieftain Gough and Balgmar, who began negotiating with the chieftain of the village about joining the Cewri Tribe. The giants are not so quick to accept, and instead offer an alliance. Koggarach would remain autonomous but would support the military efforts of the Cewri and give aid to Anor Londo and New Londo when needed. Gough and Balgmar decide to think the options over one more time.

Our Sarsalmat has gotten ill and doesn't have any heirs.
However, he still has plans.
He sent out an expedition to the South to find anything at all that resembles a civilization.

The expedition did find a people known as the Inca.
The expedition wasn't exactly friendly, so they quickly became unwelcome, they did however bring some new crops with them.
Potatoes and Tomatoes.
We plant them in the Empire with great success, they make a great addition to our diet.

As his life fades away, the Sarsalmat has tasked us with the construction of his legacy.
2 great Libraries containing all of our knowledge, in opposite sides of the Empire.
One in Aramith the other in Xenos.

We did manage to build them still in his life-time, so he could die without regrets.

In the process of building these Libraries, we had to drastically improve our road system as well, making them broader and smoother for all the material to be carried across the Empire.

Though after the Sarsalmats death, these new improved roads spread war across the Empire.
The Royal family, not wanting the Imperial throne empty, has brought forth many pretenders to the throne, plunging the Empire into yet another civil war.

We lost all contact to the outside world and this state of war split the Empire into several smaller Kingdoms, all laying claim to the throne.

This period of civil war, which has lasted a dozen centuries , was dubbed the Eternal War.

After 1000 years, the Eternal war came to a conclusion, when Sarigal the Conqueror and his armies, overran all competing Kingdoms.
He moved the capital back to Neperdubitum and introduced many reforms, especially in the field of military.

The War-Bisons we have bred over the centuries, to be as small, fast and agile as Horses have found great use in the late period of the Eternal War, and now Sarigal makes them a mandatory asset in his new Army.

The Empire stands strong and united once more under Sarigal the Conqueror.

What will Sarsalmat Sarigal do in his new office?

The Eternal war must have caused a lot of casualties, I propose setting up a program of sorts that promotes having kids and encourages the people to produce more crops and other sorts of food to support the families and their newborn kids across the empire.
Essentially it should boost the population to gain what we lost during the war, and hopefully increasing it even more than that.

Also check on the neighbouring tribes to see what they have been up to after those 1000 years, maybe we could test out our newly reformed armies on them if we feel we need their land to settle our growing population.

Lastly start building monuments in the biggest cities to respect the fallen during the Eternal War, in our capital there should be the biggest monument of them all showcasing the mighty Sarigal the Conquerer uniting the various kingdoms into the empire once again.
This would temporary boost demand for metals which in turn should temporary increase the production of metals.
>>
>>250134
Extend to the east. Sarigal will do as his name bids, and he will conquer.
>>
>>250144
Actually our population is higher than ever before, we're suffering from over population, right now the Empire boasts over 30 million people.
We can hardly sustain our population, the Eternal war has kept population growth in check.

Well hello now dear masked little demons.
This is a tale of gods. Even though none of them is a god.
This is a tale about a word controlled by 3 gentlemen:
Santa, the benevolent one who will never intervene directly.
StevenKing, who tends to cause a bit of chaos.
And yours truly. And i'd never cause any kind of general sorrow and destruction, would i?
In any case, my dears, i need a champion. And he or she shall be chosen by you!
And how? Here are the rules:
1- Reply to the correct post
2- First post with a get decides what happens. Gets are 6, 9 and 0
3- You must wait at least 2min before rerolling your own post
4- I will take any gets into consideration, but full retard will be ignored
5- Also, take it easy in memes and fetiches. I'll write lewd tho
6- You also may roll a d100. If you get 66, you can choose an intervention from one of the 3 "gods"
7- Don't fucking spam d100s. You can roll one every 3min while a session is happening
8- If i ask for a dice roll, first one decides. Don't try rolling both d100 and another dice in the same post, btw.
Well, enough rules. King will complain if there's too much order.
Now for our champion, refer to the following pic and vote for one in this thread.
First one to get 3 votes or the one with most votes in 15min is our new champion, so vote wisely.

The peace the world knows now is a lie. Even now, there are forces at work in the shadows, trying to undo that peace using whatever means available to them. Be it forgotten magics, advanced sciences, or overwhelming military power, there is not a day that passes when someone or something is plotting the downfall of the world and the suffering of its inhabitants.

But for every villain that rises, there is a champion of justice and love to stop them. Talented mystical prodigies, action scientists who are not afraid to step into the line of fire, brave men and women in the latest military gear; they stand and fight the evils of the world and succeed where others fail, sometimes at the cost of their lives.

But our champions are still mortal, who bleed and make mistakes like anyone else. Sometimes, these mistakes are costly and grant their adversaries an impossible, tipping the balance and making a major problem of things.

And that's where you come in. The final trump card and ace-in-the-hole for the good guys when the designated heroes fuck-up and the bad guys get ahead. The ones who go in and pull victory out of the stomach of defeat.

The Fixers.

It's another wonderfully bright day at Xavier Crucible. The sun is out, its warmth caressing your skin. Birds sing to the sway of the cool breeze, faint but there in the background. And the ground feels warm against your back, prickly blades of grass tickling your skin through your clothes.

You stare at the vast midday sky, the sparse clouds forming all manners of funny shapes and forms for you to laugh at, and for a moment you consider napping right there and then despite the stares and the laughs and giggles directed at you.

A head of white hair blots out your view, his fingers snapping in front of your face.

“Dude, you awake?” he asks, holding out three fingers. “How many fingers am I holding up?”

“How many I’ll stick up your ass if you don’t move.” you retort, scowling. The intruder flips you off and plops down beside you.

"Where's the grease monkey and the musclehead?" you sit up, squinting under the light.

"I dunno; one said something about finishing up a personal project of his and that he'd be late, and the other said he had some business with his club."

You tilt your head. "Which one was it again?"

He thinks for a minute. "I think it was the literary club. No, wait, it's the cooking club. I think."

"You think?" you raise a brow at him.

"Hey, I don't spend my free time bugging everyone I know every few minutes." he leans back and basks under the sun. "Figure it out yourself."

>Head to the grease-monkey's workshop.
>Find the musclehead and see what he's doing.
>Screw both, stay here and chill.
>>
>Screw both, stay here and chill.
"I'd rather stay here, in all honesty. I mean, we're out in the open, and if they need to find us, they'll have no trouble finding us out here. Plus, the atmosphere is great here."

Doing this myself since the original OP doesn't seem to be around and somebody else requested it.

Rules are pretty standard:
>Post a picture of a creature with a mutation edited in. Give a description.
>Don't add complicated features, progress slowly.
>Be creative.
>Don't modify something twice in a row, give other people a chance to contribute.
>Be realistic
>Have fun!

Posting the ends of lines/near ends. Starting with the Sphinctermaws.
>#1: Gliding Sphinctermaw
An animal that isn't picky about what it eats. They have compound eyes on the ends of flexible stalks used as fins. They can quickly open and close their rear tentacles to make quick getaways from predators. As they do so, they release a chemical to sting the eyes of predators, like pepperspray.
The orange color supposedly fades under depths of 5 meters (slightly more than 15 feet)

>#2. Crawling Sphinctermaw
These bottom feeders scuttle the sea floor, catching food particles on the bristles which tip their tentacles.

>#3. Craspaw
They are similar to the above creature. Having finger-like projections of their tentacles, they can grab larger bits of food.
Blue color is supposedly a camouflage.

>#4. Carnivorous Sphinctermaw
These predators use their clawed tentacles to rip the flesh of their prey into nice bite-sized chunks. While more aggressive, they are smaller, thus lower in the food chain that what will be listed in the next post.
Muted color is supposedly harder to see.

Now on the various species of Biggus Dickus. Listed top to bottom.

>Dark Biggus Dickus
The Dark Biggus Dickus is currently the largest animal on Scrotus-4. From their size around 8 or 9 inches long on average. :^) , an adult specimen is rarely bothered by predators.
Larvae and juveniles however are heavily preyed upon. Their color does help with this. They hide in the mud of the sea floor whenever they can smell a predator nearby.
Unless the other three species, the DBD lacks eyes, and instead has numerous scent receptors around its head.

>Lumped Biggus Dickus
This jawless carnivore hunts by spitting up a corrosive fluid to partially digest prey. Then it swallows everything whole with its big mouth. They have two secondary pipes leading from their mouth to the rear of their stomach for pumping water through in order to flush out indigestible matter.
The thin strip of exoskeletal plate provides a surface for their muscles to anchor to.

>Armored Biggus Dickus
Like their Lumped cousins, these Biggus Dickus too spit out a corrosive digestive fluid. Their increase in exoskeletal plating gives a sturdy paddle for swimming. They have the habit of attacking prey from the front if possible, mostly to avoid the Gliding Sphinctermaw's spray.

>Unnamed Biggus Dickus
This species of Dickus are omnivores. They've dropped most of their predatory behavior and only eat meat if the opportunity presents itself. To aid in eating plant matter, they swallow small stones to grind up food in a small fore-stomach.

And to fishing things off, the plants.

Just describing the species at the ends of their respective lineages. To to bottom.

>Nameless Plant
Walks on branch-like legs on seafloor.

>Walking Seaclover
Walks on leaves in shallow seawaters and tide pools.

>Rooted Seaclover
Stationary plant. Other rooted seaclovers grow from the roots of older plants, plus they fertilize each other to produce seeds.

>Oculus Herba
This plant has a pattern that mimics the appearance of an eye. They will at times stack within each other to mimic Dickuses.

>Unnamed thing with the huge root
Grows on shorelines. Most likely in areas that are submerged in high tide.

>Buboles
Simple round plant with lumps on it.

The idea just sort of clicked with me one day and, unlike my other ideas, it clicked so well that I couldn't sit on it for longer than a day and I just decided to spontaneously run it! As my first quest, it was a bit of a rocky ride, but I'm honestly happy that I decided to do it and don't regret it at all.

I was bored, and had nothing to do. Also it's been quite a while since I played tabletop.

So I thought what I always think when I see a quest. "Can I play/work/be creative with this?" "Can I empathize with the main character?"
There are other requirements, but these are usually the main thing.

So, some of you may remember me as the fuck of a Fate/QM who dropped off the face of the Earth a year and a half ago. I won't bore you with the sob story of real life and shit, but I will say that life's since gotten more stable. I remembered that I used to do this shit, and I figured "Hey, let's see if people are still interested in doing Nasuverse stuff".

Hence this.

What sort of thing in Nasuverse doesn't really matter to me. If you want to do a Kara no Kyoukai-style thing, a Grail War, Clocktower 2016, some Grand Order shittery, whatever, I'm up to run it. So, let's kick this thing off. What are we going to be doing here?

Welcome to Adventure Civ Medieval!

In this quest, you will help a medieval realm strive and grow as trouble arises and other nations work on their own agendas.

Last time, the Copper warlords started a huge war against each other before getting invaded by orcs. Meanwhile the Sun people made giant lenses, the Bowtie kingdom warred some rats and the people of the trees kept to themselves.

how to play:
1) choose a realm to play for. change your name to reflect your choice (ex: Bowtie Noble). Max 4 players per realm.
2)each turn, your realm has 2 actions. You can choose a cultural, technological, or immediate acion, plus one bonus action based on your realms' bonus action(if your realm has a bonus tech action, you can do any action one time per turn, plus a tech action).
3)discuss with your compatriots which actions you will take. Once you're done, reply to my recap anchor post with the recap of your actions.

if you want to join in, please consider joining the under-populated tree tribe!

With the expansion of the Village underway, the men needed more protection from the cold to be able to keep working.

To meet this demand, tailors began developing more covering clothing such as pants and experimented with ways to maximize warmth while minimizing weight.

They began sewing a thin fur in between 2 layers of cloth, while it wasn’t the warmest clothing it was enough and didn’t restrict mobility very much. This sped up expansion drastically.

However, larger buildings were unable to be completed because of wood not being strong enough to support the weight.

The Chieftain was unfazed by this delay and suggested that we use stone as the foundation for the buildings. His reasoning was that if we used large stones as the main body of the foundation but in between applied a hardening ‘mud’ of some sort.

However the Chieftain does not know what it would be made of, clay could be possible but it’s not really strong enough to be a proper building material.

What will the Chieftain do to solve this problem?
