If you want to play, here's how it goes; your rolls are determined by your gets. If you roll to "Fill Michigan, spill Wisconsin" and get a 1 for 3 rounds, you aren't gonna conquer shit. If you get dubs/trips for 4 rounds straight you may just conquer the entire midwest. Enjoy fags.

Why punish specific instructions?
Roll!

nvm...My misunderstanding. But yea, gets are a good process. never done the rolling before

Copy and paste "dice+1d99999" and that's how you roll. I'm new to this, too.
You are a blunder. No I mean a Blunder. Little orange things (people?) who tend to make a mess of everything involving them. You, however, are in jail. Well, it's less jail and more a room with a trapdoor that is hard to reach and open. It's difficult finding any legit jail-space in Blunder society these days, given the lack of funding (and hats) to even manage it proper.
Thing is, why are you in jail?
Destruction of private and public property
Making friends with adventurers
You're a Blunder, and another Blunder noticed this (for shame!)
I don't know if any of this formatting will work proper. Anywho, whichever of the three colors is closest to the ID color of the first person to reply to this determines the reason. Post suggestions for what to do. (Escaping jail is the best option, given that there's no food and you won't get any hand-outs in here)

>Destruction of private and public property
I threw a guy through his own window and he knocked over a trashcan which made it roll into the lake and sink.
>>399926
Push the table on the right to underneath the trapdoor, then climb out from it.
>>399930
That's right! Smug bastard thought he had such a nice window and trashcan that it caused your blood to boil. Good thing you dealt with all three with a single throw. You kick over the basin next to you and give yourself a small nostalgic chuckle.
You are engineers at the new space race. You have been tasked with creating space ships for all kinds of uses. Are you up for the task?
This game is very similar to Evolution Game. However here we design and evolve spaceships one little change at a time.
Anyone can join in at any time. Just take an existing design from the thread, no matter if its old or new and modify it somehow and post it back here.
RULES:
1.Only a small modification at a time.
2.After creating a modified design, don't forget to name it. Name should be derived from the name of the ship you modifed.
3.Post the modification as a reply to the modeified ship.
4.Describe in your post what you changed.
5.You can't add any completly new ships. All ships must be the descendant from the ship provided in the first post.
6.Don't evolve only one line of ships - branch out sometimes too.
7.You can't develop any futuristic tech yet. I will annoucne when scientists on earth have uncovered some new futuristic tech.
You can now begin.
LYNX
A ground to space vechicle. It takes off from a plane runway and uses its rocket engines to blast itself to orbit. After delivering its payload, it descends in a controlled manner and lands like a plane.
It can carry a small payload and 3 passangers.
Lynx-C
A combat version of the Lynx with nuclear missiles.
>>405215
Lynx Monx is a ship created to accompany the ordinary Lynx ship. Lynx Monx replaced the cargo bay with a mechanical arm. The mechanical arm can be used to construct spaceborne equipment.
>>405320
Lymonx is a modyfication of Lynx Monx. It was created due to sending a construction into space every single time is very expensive. So, Lynx Monx ships were used to construct spaceborne Lymonxes. These new ship cannot land, thus they can only operate in space. Wings were removed and small exhausts were added to perform intricate moneouvers.

I'v never run a civ quest but its the weekend and I'v had a few beers so let's try it. Decide amongst yourselves what race to play, first 2-3 votes wins. For this civ game the players will be members of a ruling group, so they each can create a unique character, if they want, to act as a special unit.

Skeletons on sky islands is fine with me. Not sure about the skelecopters, though.
It is the late summer of 175 After the Storm in the Kingdom of Roggar. A massive orcish horde, led by four dragons, drove the ogres, centaurs and even our human neighbours, the Malkosi, to flee to the north. Helping them take refuge, we prepared for war and now war is upon us. The orcs' numbers exceed the entire population of our Kingdom, were it up to us to fight, we'd have no hope. We've only been able to slow them down so far and most recently a party of adventurers managed to sneak past enemy lines and kill the Flame Dragon Plamnokas. In this fight we are not alone, however - the halfings are sending supplies and volunteers from the west, the Kulargi fight alongside us at the front and the Norse and Paitran Kingdoms are preparing to send reinforcements that will tip the scales of the war in our favour. The ogres and centaurs also ready their warriors - though they were our enemies before, we face a common foe today.
We must take command of our forces at the front line now.
We have 6000 Kulargi warriors, 200 elite demon warriors and mages, 4000 goblin light infantry, 2000 human archers, 1000 human cavalry, 2000 human iron hoplites(heavy infantry) and another 5000 humans that belong to various other units, mostly bronze-armed militia.
We must hold out until further reinforcements arrive.
What should our strategy be?
A.Hold current positions - defend Muttvile, Luecric and Great Nest at all cost
B.Gradually pull back to the north of Longfork and west of Shortfork, evacuate civilians and hold the river crossings
C.Assemble our forces for a concentrated counter-attack to retake Vahkrin
D.Other stratagem
So, new here or want a refresher?
Here's a pastebin with the basic rules of this quest. It's based on a system of factions - you don't necessarily have to create a faction, you can play as an anon in the classic civ style as well. Factions allow for RP between the players and make the world a richer place, though!
If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask.
Also, general civ stats
>>Population:69k humans, 28k goblins, 526 demons
>>Food production:9/10
>>Food stockpiles:9/10
>>Resources:8/10
>>Morale:7/10

Report in with your faction's assets.

>B.Gradually pull back to the north of Longfork and west of Shortfork, evacuate civilians and hold the river crossings
The year is 410, Roman officials have been forced out of the British isles an will never return to rule again. Now there are many different tribes and states warring and raiding each other and vying for dominance, as it regularly is in these parts and in this time
There are 5 major culture groups you may chose from that will dictate starting positions, story goals and general wealth: Briton, pict, Irish, welsh and Saxon.
In addition there are 5 professions you may choose from which again effect starting positions, story goals and general wealth: retinue, peasant, landowner, raider and clansman (or noble if you prefer)
Beyond that, age, gender and name. Backstory will be writin by me in relation to all of the things you choose, besides your name, that would be silly.
Disclaimer: I don't have that much historical knowledge of this era, my main goal is for you guys to have fun. I'll also be running this on weekends, though honestly I might run every night if this becomes popular enough.
Additionally, playing a women is pretty fucking hard for obvious reasons. Much more likely to become a legend if your successful however.
>alright I'm fucking pumped lets do this shit, first time is now or never!
>>405931
Oh yeah your going to be playing one person in the third person perspective. Should have prefaced that sooner. So this stuff is important! Choose what you want and I'll tally, do some final votes if need be.
Lotsa options so we could vote... I'll just go for: Irish, Clansman (if we get to lead Raiders and participate in battles, if not, then Raider), age ~25ish, male, Connor Ronan (but everyone calls us by our last name maybe hopefully?)
>>405931
I'm looking forward to it.
I suggest we play a young Briton sailor on a merchant vessel.
Ey up lads, /pol/ risk player here.
/pol/ mods keep deleting threads and I know some people have tried relocating to here but I don't know how many. Most are probably shills from this board but what ever.
Let's have a game of Risk for /pol/ vs /RestOf4Chan/ (/ro4/)

please put your shade in your name also, so shade 1(s1) is the lightest shade and shade 6(s6) is the darkest. makes it easier to OP
Just copy the format my name is in, without the OP bit. no need for trip codes really because they're automatic
Bonuses go at the beginning of your name
put your board at the end of your name.
you cant make more allies or naps other than what you start with.

>QM Question
I prepare a new character's basic idea in my head a while before running the quest session.
>Player Question
There's two reasons for QMs to pose as players: to vote, to try to covertly railroad the players, which is shit; or to expose information because the players can't solve their shittily-written over-complex riddles, which is still shit but at least it isn't railroading.
>Bonus Question
A moral MC doing something immoral for no good reason, even if the players vote for it. Or the quest suddenly turning massively edgy with no warning.

Welcome to Adventure Civ Medieval!
In this quest, you will help a medieval realm strive and grow as trouble arises and other nations work on their own agendas.
Last time, giants came crashing in, as well as the Sea Queen, and I don't mean the bowtie Queen (in the sea) in a campaign against the witch Queen (well technically they're both witches but...).
how to play:
1) choose a realm to play for. change your name to reflect your choice (ex: Bowtie Noble). Max 4 players per realm.
2)each turn, your realm has 2 actions. You can choose a cultural, technological, or immediate acion, plus one bonus action based on your realms' bonus action(if your realm has a bonus tech action, you can do any action one time per turn, plus a tech action).
3)discuss with your compatriots which actions you will take. Once you're done, reply to my recap anchor post with the recap of your actions.

Welcome to FTL Quest! The Federation is caught in civil war against a Rebel Alliance of human supremacists. The rebels are led by the illustrious Admiral Zhukov, commander of the prototype warship "Mother One" that's been smashing through Federation outposts and scattering entire fleets. If the rebels can't be stopped, the Federation will have no choice but to capitulate to these madmen, and humanity will find itself in open conflict with every alien race in the universe, including even our allies the Engi and Zoltan.
You are Captain Alan Longo of the Kestrel, a lightly armed space freighter. On most days, you're...
>A civilian driver, moving merchant goods from planet to planet with a regular C-class operating license. (+rep with Civilians, Federation and Engi, -rep with Pirates, regular starting crew)
>A smuggler, well used to moving risky wares through seedier sectors. (+rep with Smugglers, Pirates and Slugs, -rep with Federation and Zoltan, access to exotic starting crew at a discount)
>A Federation captain, managing a single link in a great supply train spanning galaxies. (+rep with Civilians, Federation, Zoltan and Engi, -rep with Rebel Alliance, Rockmen, Slugs, Pirates and Smugglers, access to exotic starting crew at a discount)
