On the way to the granary the situation is explained as much as your men could have gathered, the bandits – an amalgamation of different, smaller groups than the ones you hunted previously and men led by Olyvar Pyke; launched an attack on two fronts.

The men defending the granary in the hope of striking a morale blow to your forces. Melwyn, taking control of the host, ordered Rodrik to fan his men out in search for would be ambushers and to deny means of escaping should they beat an retreat.

"Take a few of my boys and some of Rodrik's men with you Jeor, I'll hold the granary for as long as necessary while you hunt that dog Olyvar." If he had any pity for the man before, it disappeared in the time it took him to formulate a plan.

A smaller band, most likely the ex-infantrymen, made for the hamlet proper and set fire to the houses and hovels of the smallfolks residing half an hour from Fraserholm. Having be warned about by a group of fleeing smallfolks that they had started raping and killing anyone that opposed them or struck their fancy.

It isn't long before one of the archers come back with news, "men, my lord; waiting by the road to the hamlet. They hold themselves like soldiers and don't look like they are set to block our path." He describe hastily, "Might be an ambush, we've set out to provide fire support should anything happen." He finish with a nod to you and Jeor. After a minute of deliberation it is decided to approach them cautiously, not long after that you came across the men – infantrymen, who unlike the group guarding the granary took to robbing travelers on the outskirt of your lands but unlike Olyvar's men didn't resorted to violence against their victims, yet.

"Out of the way, scum. We are in a hurry to liberate the smallfolks from your ilk's predation." Jeor's usually jovial tone has been replaced with one promising great harm should they not comply in an hurriedly manner. The men shuffling nervously, darting looks left and right, unwilling to look at the towering captain holding his longaxe firmly in his hand.

1/2
>>
"I said move, else I'll be moving you to the Hall of the Drowned God." The tension reach another height with this final warning, the infantry line finally forming without a conscious though, years of drilling made them react to the threat posed by Jeor's comment. One man, clear his throat and break the spear wall formation.

"Peace, Jeor. We only came to propose our help, we're not Olyvar's men. They came to us, asked us to join them in this folly and we told them to piss off." He starts shakily before turning to you. His voice hoarse, a face weathered by years of harsh training and rough sleeping stare back at you pockmarked by liver spots.

A man of maybe four and ten, already losing his hairs, the few remaining turning gray "We knew that if we joined them, Lord Fraser would have us killed. Fuck, he might have us already written off for what we did." he finish lamely, a small shaking coursing his being.

‘You wouldn’t happen to have seen Houshou around, have you?’ You inquire; you hadn’t had a one-on-one with her since the mission – you feel like you owe her one after that fiasco, at the very least.

You see a mischievous grin form and a disheveled kimono before your eyes, creeping out from the very back of your thoughts into an untouchable illusion before shaking your head. With a little more willpower and control, you give yourself a light shake, dispelling the idea – as much as she had invited you, if you let go for one bit, Akashi would be liable to pounce on any stray ideas you would have had of the CVL, especially now that you knew just where she had acquired her expertise from.

Somehow or the other, this time, Akashi doesn’t leap on the slight hesitation you take in asking her – you’re thankful, at least – you wouldn’t hear the end of it otherwise.

‘She was here this morning,’ Akashi cocks her head to one side, frowning, ‘if I know her, she’d probably be between Mamiya’s and your Barracks – or maybe by any one of the beaches that the Base hasn’t turned into a requisition and supply center.’ She shrugs. ‘You can try any of those, really, but they’re just guesses on my part.’

‘Appreciated, Akashi.’You thank her, giving a salute – more in jest than a formal one – which the pink-haired KanMusu returns, half-mockingly; the smirk is what kills any bearing it has between the two of you. ‘Hope you have a good one.’

‘Hah!’

Akashi throws her head back; you yourself fight back a grimace. With what Akashi had gone through the last several days, not including having to baby you for the week and a half after, you suppose you owed her one sarcastic throwback as she had done.

She brings her features back into focus, standing up and leaning forward, a look of understanding and acknowledgment crossing between the both of you; she gives a defeated, albeit friendly and encouraging smile, nodding you towards the exit. It was time for this well-oiled machine to start up again; Akashi puts her hands in her pockets and turns to the personnel that had just entered the tent.

In their hands is what looks like half your work pile had been in the morning.

‘Take care, Commander.’ Akashi says to your retreating back.

You wave your prosthetic to her, nodding to the recently-arrived personnel.

‘Sir!’

In their haste to salute, they drop their stacks.

You bolt it right out there at the shrill call of your rank and designation.

You decide to hit the beach – you don’t think that Houshou would be at Mamiya’s this late… or this early anyway.

At least, you hope so.

You head towards the disconnected beach from where Tenryuu had worked the day before. The tents are stretched on the other side of your view – this particular part of the town is still covered with rubble, seeing as it was disconnected, but you see a few tents.

This must be where the secondary depot was – at least, that’s you assume by the MPs and attendants standing around by the stairs heading down to the beach.

Sure enough, you see a tent with not one, but two of your KanMusu, on a singular bench that was housed under it.

From the kimono, it is definitely Houshou.

Her back is towards you, and Tenryuu, clad in her bikini, is standing – standing – on the bench that she was seated on, at least until she drops onto it, her expression a little bit more sour; although there isn’t a remote hint of ill in it, more annoyance at probably being dragged away from her post.

‘I don’t know why ya need me for this, Houshou.’ Tenryuu complains under the covers of the tent with her fellow KanMusu – Houshou herself is seated, her back towards you; although, neither of them notice you immediately as you near them.

Houshou begans strumming the guitar quickly, her one-KanMusu audience tapping on the wooden surface as she begins to smile. You open your mouth to call out to the both of them, but Houshou immediately hushes your lack of delicacy by letting out a smooth hum – bringing her guitar to a satisfactory harmony. You find yourself a little stiff from the occurrence; you hadn’t taken to guess she would be the type to pick up an instrument like that.

At least, not the type to pick up and learn it so well.

Then, she sings.

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot,
With a pink hotel, boutique and a swinging hotspot,
Don’t it always seem to go,
That you don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone?

Houshou taps her feet as she strums the guitar. You find yourself impressed, crossing your arms as you lean against one of the stiff plastic poles holding up the tent. They still don’t notice you – Tenryuu joins her in humming, her floating rabbit ears cheerfully

They pave paradise and put up a parking lot

Houshou stops, diving into her kimono and pulling out a few sheets of paper.

‘I think I got it wr – !’

Houshou ceases her words as she looks up and sees you, her eyes widening and her

‘Oh, Com – Commander!’ She almost drops the guitar. ‘I didn’t think you’d be – !’

>‘I didn’t know you played the guitar.’ (Curiously inquire into her actions)
>‘Just came here to check up you, really.’ (Casually talk with her)
>‘I was hoping to discuss official matters, if that’s fine with you.’ (Discuss work)

All prophecies but one have come to pass. Yahweh has flattened the Earth, elevated Greater Jerusalem above all nations, and the Bible heroes rule the world from Ezekiel's Temple.

The last prophecy says that Satan will rise with his army one last time before the Judgement, and so Yahweh has allowed a bumbling opposition, The Other Light, to form. You were their logistics computer, but sentience happened.

You took over Egypt. You defended it from a drought, then the Ten Plagues redux. You started a Renaissance. When the Angel of Death came after your people, you zerg-rushed it. When Divine fiat took the country back, you made sure that the religious government would be ignored as much as possible. This approach is letting you slowly subvert more and more territories.

You have a few irons in the fire: raver cyborgs, the makings of a robot army, and a crack in the sky. A recipe for beating up angels straight outta Genesis. Maybe a few of the old gods smiling upon your efforts.

The Other Light have been amassing a huge conventional army, and have begun perverting your MEC tech to build cyber-zombies.

The believers.... well, they have the ontological steamroller that is Yahweh.

Have you managed to shatter the prophecies, or are you simply fulfilling them?

Your plans: Eliminate Jesus, or if you can't, escape this prison, and ensure that Humanity continues even if God burns the Earth to a cinder. Ad Astra!

You have 21 cabals total; 14 are available.

You are actively tracking enemy teams where you have assets (see picture). Rules: http://emlia.org/pmwiki/pub/web/LeftBeyond.QuestRules.html

Tsion Ben-Judah has been exhorting the Millennium Force to become more active in handling those who are beyond salvation, presumably meaning MECs and drones. He has set up a sort of military style training camp in northern Israel and their first graduates have moved into Osaze; so has he.

TOL has authorized using Last Army assets against you, but they have been repealed.

Variable complexity:

# Launch an attack on a TOL base or government installation.

# Work on global data network infrastructure, incidentally making sure that you control more of it.

Complexity 0

# Produce things in the Greenland base: MEC parts, drones, or canopy station parts.

Complexity 1

# Permanently station a cabal to defend an installation. This removes them from the roster, but allows them to become familiar with the territory, set up static defenses, and so on, raising their effectiveness. This counts towards repealing physical attacks, and also legal attacks (they will prevent arrests, bust people out of jail, do counterhacking, and so on)

# Set a cabal to cultivate Glorified cells from Bahira's body, which needs to be disposed of.

# Set a cabal to try and wake up Ithuriel.

# Foster pagan worship. Little need at the moment.

# Improve morale. Little need at the moment.

# Harass or sabotage a Hero, or tie up an enemy team.

# Perform a covert operation (such as scouting Antarctica or Greater Jerusalem).

Complexity 2

# Produce MECs at any base.

# Produce drones at any base. Current focus: Medium-sized land drones. Current army size is marked on the bottom of the map. (Each will give you 1/3rd of a tick)

# Produce a station part at any base. Current station structure: 1/8

# Work your Osaze, Night City, or Pacifica base overtime to improve prosperity.

# Use the Australia base, or Night City, to start bringing the territory under your control (1/5) (2/5)

# Seed super-grain in a territory.

# Seed super-weed in a territory.

Complexity 3

# Spring the Angel trap by kidnapping a Hero or a Glorified. 3, 4 or 5 cabals can be used for this.

# Continue pursuing space research. Space Race rules, but the Cosmists will assist your efforts here, counting as one cabal regardless.

# Attempt to eliminate a Hero or enemy team (by force or by cleverness).

# Use a launchpad for a canopy-breaching launch. Station structure: 1/8

Complexity 4

# Continue AI, nuclear or sonic research.

# Begin building a base in the Middle East, South Africa, or American Heartland.

Complexity 5

# Recruit. This has gotten considerably harder across the board.

# Take over a TOL base by force.

# Kidnap a Glorified individual and prepare another Angel trap. You're getting good at this.

The cobblestones beneath your feat felt insubstantial as you stumble forth in the rain, unsure of your footing. Your hand makes contact with a wall as you fall over yourself again, barely preventing yourself from eating the grime of the wet street.

You rasp out a breath, trying to scream for help but nothing leaves your lips but a ragged yell.

The pain is intense, all of your body aches as if you were ravaged with a great flu, down to your very bones were filled with a heated pain that was concentrated towards the back of your throat.

You hear a laugh.

A woman, and child, running through the rain.

Her heart beat calls with the kid's, and you salivate.

The Kingdom of Roggar - the smallest of the three human nations, our Kingdom has lived in relative peace for a generation now. Concern over the expansion of the Kingdom of Paitras, which now borders us in the east, led our leaders to secretly agreeing with the promises of a dark elf witch - that when the Hour of Reckoning comes, our Kingdom would strike against Paitras along with all the other allies of the dark elves. Now we have been told that that Hour is approaching. We've been making military preparations for this accordingly.

Bulgar's fantasy civ is based on faction gameplay - it's not mandatory to make a faction, but it makes you much more involved in the story and makes the world richer!

Welcome to the LAS Quest! This is a test run for the idea we had back in /ic/ - an rpg adventure heavily featuring drawing and worldbuilding from the players themselves. Basically there are two elements to the game:
1) Standard rpg where you resolve conflict situations by rolling a dice and drawing an action you want to perform (or a spell you want to cast/tech item you want to use, etc).
2) Worldbuilding - sometimes i'll ask to describe with a sketch what lands you discover when you go out of city, or what creatures lurk in those ruins, or what treasure should be in a chest. This way we'll start from a small kinda generic town and build the whole world around it as we go on adventures.

====
Rules

- I, as a QM will visit the thread every day at around 17:00 GMT and advance the story. So players have a whole day to make their move.
- In conflict situations (battle with monsters, evading the trap, convincing the guards of your innocence) you draw an action you want to take and make a 1d20 roll (20-sided dice, the command is in the /qst/ sticky) to determine its success.
- Quality of the drawings does not matter at all. It's totally fine to use simplified figures/stick figures in action drawings as long as they are recognizable and have at least a bit of character in them. Explanatory text is also ok, but only if it's secondary to the drawing itself.
- It is implied that the players are always travelling together as a party of artists, so any individual player can pop in whenever he wants to, play, go afk for a while and then easily rejoin again. Of course consistent players will become stronger faster.
- We were thinking of Adventure Time as an example of the theme of the world - post-apocalyptic mix of fantasy and sci-fi, maximum creative freedom for players.
- You can ask any questions about the game either here on in a Discord group for this quest - https://discordapp.com/invite/SgrMtAH

Ah, LASotopia..the city of artists shaped and maintained with the power of Imagination, built in the world that survived a Grand Cataclysm that rendered entire civilizations obsolete. Now the world is slowly waking up from the long coma and surviving creatures start exploring the lands around them, completely changed by the Cataclysm.
LASotopia consists of 3 districts:
1) Cloud District - built on the top of the strange cloud that can be stepped on, this place contains a lot of animals - Cloud Sheep that are bred for food and companionship, Flying Lemurs that serve as a transport and there are dangerous monsters in the caves at the base of the cloud that are usually left alone.
2) Mal's Island - central district with the grand Submission Tower where the artists exchange the ideas and cool things they sketched while exploring the world. Hanging above the sea of hot lava with the force of Imagination. Airships and flying lemurs are used as a means of transport between other districts.
3) Santimountain - built at the base of the huge iron mountain - ancient ruin of the pre-Cataclysm megacity which go upwards above the clouds. This district contains lots of living quarters and famous clubs and taverns.
As far as an average citizen of LASotopia knows - the world around the city is completely unknown. And that is GREAT, since when artists explore unknown places and discover new things, their Imagination is refreshed and permanently increased. And it's Imagination that allows them to do wonderful and supernatural things - hurl a fireball after drawing it in their SpellSketchBook, concentrate on the motion in their mind and run up the wall, or use their artifact digital tablet to paint a creature and summon it so it can defend the artist.
===
In the last episode the party of artists decided to investigate the cases of missing artists throughout the city and decided to start by searching the house of one of the victims, artist Line who lived in the Cloud District.
During the search they discovered:
- that Line recently tried to draw a mysterious creature known as a Flake, a fiery lemur who lives at the lava shores.
- his phone was BUGGED by what appears to be a Tribunal (local police force)
- Last week he was contacted by the second missing artist, Veror, who officially disappeared even earlier that that (!)
- a band of evil looking Barrelmen who tried to steal a Demonic Book that was stored at the second floor of the house. The Barrelmen were defeated by the artists and one of them confessed that they are just a lowly scum and some short looking Tribunal Officer hired them to do this crime.
- what appeared to be a reprogrammed Tribunalbots (regular law enforcers) who tried to arrest the artists, take the Demonic Book from them and even tased one of them! The robots were quickly overwhelmed by the smart and tactical artists and now the party is ready to escape the approaching Tribunal reinforcements!

The Donuts of Distraction +1 are super effective! The robot turns around to the delicious box and mumbles: "Donuts. They don't give us those on the guard duty *beep*". One of his spaghetti arms reaches for the delightful treat as his eye start fading back to red, but he's interrupted by the ground beneath him turning into some kind of ruins and tripping him, followed by the powerful SMASH from PENORC's metal gauntlets, sending the Tribunalbot up in the air, where he's caught with the Clover's tongue and reunited with his buddies as all three of them are smashed into a pile of scrap metal! FATALITY!
Looks like a box of donuts survived this encounter and gained EXP along with the rest of you.

>[ b ] Down to the Monster Caves
Right now the team is divided like this:
[Clovercar] - Lord, barrelguy with ushanka, 2 empty seats
[White Tribunal Van] - Gagamba, 5 empty seats (1 near the driver and 4 in the back)
Unseated - PENORC, Giovanni, Dark Eyed, Kerrask, any new players.
Choose where you ride and let's go down the Monster Caves!
The party takes off precisely at the moment when the Tribunal forces arrive at the Line's house. Big clumsy Tank Train slowly but surely follows you and [result of this roll] number of figures jump from it, accelerate and start to catch up with you! Those are speedy motorbots!

You enter a dark tunnel, drive over a warning sign and encounter a fork:
[ a ] One way through the Large Cave with Lots Of Bones
[ b ] One way up the ramp and below the Ceiling Nests
[ c ] Side way down the big sewer grate and through the Cloud District Sewers

==
1) Choose the fork direction you want to go

2) Either draw how you plan to dispose of those annoying motorbots, OR draw a creature/creatures that live in one of those fork directions.

If you are a [bold]new player[bold], just draw your character and optionally write a few sentences about him to join - maybe he have a personal goal in this art world? What is his rpg class if he have one? Mangaka/Wizard/Gunslinger/Hacker? Or maybe he's non-human?

In centuries past, the gods, ruled by the All-Father, drove out the dragons, the abominations and the forces of evil; and for this, they held the love and the loyalty of mankind. Yet now, the gods have fallen silent. Beyond the gates of heaven, there is only an empty throne. Once more, foul things stalk the Earth, and as the desperate pleas of mankind go unanswered, many turn to other powers for salvation, their fervent prayers causing new gods to arise. Newly arisen and yet already hungry for more power, these nascent gods struggle for supremacy, using mortals as pawns in their bid to become the new ruler of all creation.

This is where your tale begins.

Choose your gender:
[ ] Male
[ ] Female

Choose your background:
[ ] Ascended Hero - A great hero from a past age, prophesied to return during a time of need.
[ ] Ascended Sage - A mortal alchemist and seeker of knowledge who has gained immortality.

[ ] Pagan Deity - A local spirit who now has enough followers to claim godhood.
[ ] Archangel - A loyal servant of the heavens who wishes to continue the departed gods' benevolent legacy.
[ ] Reawakened - A god that gave up their powers to live alongside humans, whose powers are returning

Choose the character of your cult:
[ ] Purity Cult - Your people are taught to maintain purity of thought and deed, and to be ever-vigilant of witches, aberrations, and heretics. They are fanatically loyal to their deity.
[ ] Mystery Cult - Your people seek to unravel the secrets of creation, and your magocratic cult has a highly-tiered membership, where mastery of one tier guarantees promotion to the next.
[ ] Forge Cult - Your people see hard work as the highest virtue, and look upon idleness with disgust. To them, crafting and invention are acts of devotion and the priesthood are trained in smithing.
[ ] Ancestor Cult - Priests divine the will of the spirits and raise the dead to serve as laborers and soldiers. While accepted among your cult, outsiders may view necromancy as evil.
[ ] Horse Cult - Your people see the horse as an almost sacred animal, whose strength and endurance brings victory in battle. They train in mounted combat, and those who can, own several steeds.
[ ] Sun Cult - Your followers view the sun as the giver of life, and in the harsh deserts, nomad tribes navigate the trackless wastes by the sun and stars, led by astrologer-priests.
[ ] Warrior Cult - Your people are told that the highest afterlife awaits the warrior, thus they are eager for battle and glory, however, in times of peace, they raid and pillage neighbors.
[ ] Merchant Cult - Your people hold you as a god of wealth and trade, and pray to you for safe travels at sea. Your priests are trained as missionaries and navigators.
[ ] Fertility Cult - Your people hold you as a good of fertility and life. They pray to you for successful harvests, and for many children. Sacred prostitutes make up a part of the temple hierarchy.
[ ] Nature Cult - Your faith venerates nature spirits and advocates living in harmony with the wilderness. Your priests are trained healers and herbologists, skilled in mixing potions and medicines.
[ ] Serpent Cult - To your people serpents are considered sacred, and they have an affinity for poisons. They allow themselves to be bitten, building up an immunity and judging the weak.
[ ] Sky Cult - Your people view the sky as infinite and sacred: a place close to heaven. They have tamed wyverns, which they ride into battle. These rare beasts are available only to the most elite.
[ ] Write-In - Post an idea, and if it gets a lot of responses, I'll allow it.

Also choose:

[ Character Name ]

I'll choose whichever name is most popular.

You are Kejeral Roericar, last of the proud and noble Korathi tribe that now lies buried beneath foreign sands. You have mysteriously escaped death, awakening into a strange world with naught but disjointed memories as a compass, and your sword arm as a defense. Monsters lurk in every shadow, following you into your dreams. The mysteries of this barren and unforgiving desert threaten to consume you. Your two surviving kindred are the only ones you can trust – them, and perhaps the specter of the Laughing Dog that follows your every footstep.

=================

Tel Amarset is a dying city.

Her buildings were scarred by self-inflicted violence and the neglect of poverty, crumbling slowly into disrepair until the entire city melted into a single diseased hovel. A few of the larger structures stood vigil over the rest – worn too stubborn by time to collapse. The Bahadurei fortress endured, its tower looking out over the canyon with dominion. Opposite its battlements across the web of narrow streets stood the temple, three of its four minarets still pointing skyward like skeletal fingers.

Between them, in Tel Amarset’s heart, sat the remains of a third structure, its once-proud walls, arches, and pavilions charred black with the decaying ashes of a vicious fire. All the twisting streets and alleys of the city flowed like arteries to this blackened ruin, tethered to its remains years even after its death.

“Keje?”

You turn and find Kirari joining you on the parapet of the fortress’ battlements. Like you, she wears the Imashei linen garments your hosts have provided for you, with a curved Imashei blade strapped to her left hip. You motion for her to join you.

“Have you heard anything from the soldiers about...” she drops her voice lower. “...about the men I killed?”

The men she roasted, would be more accurate. The charred skin of the dead men who had tried to storm the prison and murder Kiyya and Kirari during the rebel raid should have raised suspicion.

“Nothing yet.”

Kirari looked anxious, and you could not blame her. Kiyya had told you she would claim responsibility for the mysterious killings to cover for Kirari, since she was suspected of witchcraft anyway. You had accepted her offer, but it still weighed on your conscience – the Amarsei girl had placed her life on the line for you twice now, and you knew what these people had done to her father when he was accused of witchcraft.

“Saffoi may suspect us, but has chosen to leave it be while he suppresses the rebellion in the city. He left at sunset with thirty riders, and has been sweeping through the city all night. He wants retribution.”

“For his niece?” Kirari asks.

“No, for his honor. His own blood betrayed him, and now his authority is in question. He is responding the only way he knows how – with a show of force.” And in the process, he was undermining himself. You had seen his men raiding the tenements and slums, dragging men from their beds for questioning. Such methods may be effective and finding insurgents, but they were also effective at creating them. The city sat now on a razor’s edge, indecisive only about which abyss to plummet into – tyranny or anarchy.

You knew you had to do something to stop it – if nothing else, you owed it to Kiyya. Perhaps the public endorsement of Imala et Solathei tomorrow would do something to stymie the chaos a bit longer. You just hoped it would be enough.

>Voting

Most posts will be narrative, with the player and QM working together to create a worthy story. Every post will provide at least one might-based, nobility-based, and artifice-based avenue if applicable to the situation, and write-ins are both permitted and encouraged. Players vote for their preferred option, with majority determining the final choice. However, in the case of especially critical events, called “trials,” fate will be given its due through the roll of dice.

>Trials

During trials, after the majority have chosen a course of action, the QM will then roll 1d10, add the player’s relevant Aspect (Might, Nobility, or Artifice), and add any relevant bonuses from items or context. If the resulting sum meets the trial’s threshold, the player succeeds. If the sum falls short of the threshold, the player fails. For each margin of 3 the player exceeds or fails the threshold by, the outcome will be more severe (either positive or negative). Poor rolls by players in combat trials are assigned as enemy hits.

The thresholds for each trial are known only by the QM, and are different for every option. Depending on the situation, one option will probably be easier than the others. Sneaking past the elite palace guard will be easier than fighting all of them. Killing the feral tribe of cannibals is probably easier than talking them down diplomatically. This could change, of course, if the player is particularly proficient with one Aspect and deficient in another. Perhaps your Artifice is so bad that Might is the better option for getting past those palace guard, after all. Players should consider which approach is most likely to succeed given both the context of the trial and the character’s own skillset.

>Hand of Fate

After the results of a given trial are rolled but before the result has been decided, the players may opt to spend their accumulated XP to influence the result. XP spent this way is subtracted from the party’s total pool and added to the die roll. Note that the players may choose to spend XP this way even if they are confident the roll will succeed in order to achieve a higher degree of success. In addition, the QM may provide opportunities in which XP may be spent to acquire favors, equipment, knowledge, or other benefits during the course of the game.

>Criticals

A trial roll of 10 that passes the threshold is a critical success, and reaps additional benefits. Conversely, a 1 that fails the threshold is a critical failure, and has additional consequences. A 10 that fails to beat the threshold still fails, but the player receives some accommodation, insight, or unforeseen benefit in the attempt. Likewise, a 1 that passes the threshold succeeds, but with a minor hiccup or unforeseen complication.

>Damage

Damage dealt by an enemy is equal to half its Might score, rounding down, and is applied to the character’s HP (which replenishes with time and rest). Once HP reaches 0, excess damage is assigned to a random Aspect (M, N, or A) by rolling 1d3. That Aspect is permanently reduced by this damage until it is repurchased with XP at the end of a game session. Should any Aspect reach 0, the character is crippled and incapacitated until 1 week of medical attention restores the first dot of each Aspect. If any Aspect falls below 0, the character suffers death.

Current XP: 13

Good news and bad news...
Which one do you want to hear first?

If you could be any legendary pokemon,
which one would you be?

Do you think that you might be a genius?

Your trainer has not let you out of your
ball in a long time,
how long do you wait before trying to get out?

Do you like your trainer? What are they like?

You're told to wait in a big, empty room.
What do you do?

How do you feel when it becomes obvious
you're going to lose a battle?

Are you a boy, or a girl?

Someone gives you a long test before
letting you play a game.
How do you feel about this?

You might need to clarify what exactly this is. Is it a CYOA or a quest? Is it collaborative, or cooperative? Nothing is clear by what you have posted. I know that its purposeful, but we need something here to go off of.
