Yes, this is that Velo, and yes I am going to be continuing the original quest from where we left off with the ending a little bit changed as you'll see.

To explain - TrickQM and I reconciled and talked out our differences, and he and others kinda helped me work through my fuck ups from before. I've learned my lesson and I hope another chance is given.

You are Isaac.

A college student inexplicably transported into the universe of A Song of Ice and Fire, naked and at the mercy of a kind peasant in Highgarden who clothed you and housed you until joining the Tyrell's royal guard.

Isaac has made allies in his last few months in two particular people - Elinor Tyrell, a kind handmaiden to Margaery Tyrell who you suspect is falling in love with you, and Boar, a chubby younger soldier who can't stop whoring, but you trust him somewhat.

After escorting the Lady Tyrells to meet Renly Baratheon at Storm's End, your combined convoys headed to King's Landing to observe the Hand's Tourney, a massive event expected to cost over several hundred thousand dragons. In a stroke of genius you bet on as many of the destined winners as possible, setting you up to become one of the richest men in Westeros should you collect.

Dizzy, spinning almost, watching your surroundings with a fascinated stare. The night had been long fought, but you were almost through with it. Your leather-boot clad feet trudge along the dirt path towards the bridge connecting the Red Keep to the rest of King's Landing, your eyes can't help but try catching the moonlight glinting off of the white capped waves further in the harbor and down the coast, if you weren't in the situation you were in, you're sure you'd run up to the bridge and stare for hours at the sight.

Looker's words are short and sweet, but are more than enough to sum up the disconcerting conviction of a meeting that just took place. What you reckoned was going to be a mere expository dumping ground courtesy of the mayor..... ended up molding itself into something of a politician's raw interpretation of blackmail, not to mention the additional mouth to feed that came with it.

Topic might suit the /qtg/, but the activity in there always drops drastically after auto permasage. In this thread people can post ideas/pitches for quests they'd like to run or see someone else run. Others review these pitches/ideas with constructive criticism while helping them improve on their ideas and not bash them.

OBS. Ignore anyone going "It's shit" or anything of the sort. It's the mark of a shitposter. To start us off, I got an idea of my own:

A party of six individuals have either through fate or for mutual gains, be it coins or fame etc. gathered together. You are The Fighter, the leader of this group. You want to become an Adventurer by profession, Hero by reputation. Much like your mother before you. Travelling with you are the young Rapier-wielding Elvish Bard that loves to sing and play on his Ocarina. He wants to weave a tale and a song from these adventures; The Witch and her brother-turned-familiar whom both want to break the curse of witchcraft set upon them and return to human form; The Ranger who is a naive young girl that was thrown out of her village. She wants to prove to them that she's not worthless by hunting down a Legendary creature; The Rogue is a volatile woman who's a thief by profession, but engineer at heart. Her motives for joining the group is unknown for now; The Berzerker, a former dwarf smith turned mercenary when one of the Dwarven Kingdoms was lost to the goblin hordes. He now seeks to convince the former Dwarf Lords to give their support to him and acquire enough coin to support and outfit a new host of dwarves with armor and steel to retake his lost home.

Follow these six as they go about their Action/SoL Adventures where they take up contracts and missions from town to town, city to city, exploring the world whilst crawling through dungeons, hunting down bandits/packs of monsters, and escorting items or people of importance through dangerous areas etc. for coins and rewards. Eventually you'll get to help each and everyone of your group members with their own personal quests as well.

"You stabbed yourself trying to bend your blade?" Emi asks.
"I had my eyes closed" You say.
"Why?"
"So I could focus" You reply. "Next time I'll bend it in a different direction"

Emi lets out an exhasperated sigh. "Keep your eyes open next time" She says.
"But how can I focus with my eyes open?" You ask.

Emi flicks your forehead. "Figure it out. I don't want to see you running in here bleeding again"

You think for a moment, and open your mouth to rebutt, but Emi cuts you off.

"And no walking calmy, or coming in with injuries that aren't bleeding either" Emi says.
"Darn..." You say. "Am I really that obvious?"
"Yes" Emi says. "Now get going"

After the fight with the USAF guys, you had Zeus go over your aircraft's gun-camera and fire control systems. To get a better picture of how many kills you had got in that fight compared to the others in your unit. You roughly estimated that you had 3 kills, Slider had 4 and Scorpion had 4.

In your defence, you had to battle a damn super jet that you weren't expecting.

Though in retrospect, you did a damn site better than almost everybody else. Only Kenji had managed to score a kill and that was before he had been smoked by an F-16 that was on his ass. The Boss's flight hadn't been able to get any kills because they winded up fighting a pair of F-15s under heavy ECM coverage. Meanwhile Durendal kept arguing that she had been "killed" because Slider had left her behind, Slider argued that Durendal hadn't covered her properly and from there the conversation devolved into a shit-fest that made you envy Zeus, he had something else to do.

In any case, you returned to base just after midday, touching down just as the clock struck 12:45. Upon climbing out of your aircraft you were instructed to head to the CINPAC's office for debrief with the rest of your unit.

As you arrive there you could hear CINPAC yelling as some unfortunate sod. Sounded like you would be there for a while.

Was it even worth it to go to her?

Since there was a loss of interest in the last thread, I am starting completely over and this is why I must say this, I want players who will show up around 9 AM EST most days unless I say otherwise other than that...

Welcome to Medieval Ruler! Slightly based off of Crusader Kings II, you will take control of a series of rulers over a period of history between 769-1440 and will face many unique challenges and events along the way!

Combat system is the dynamic 3d10 system. You all decide upon a three step plan and the first three rolls will be the average of EACH roll and I write the outcome and so on.

Example:
Raise Shield (3d10)
Bash with Shield (3d10)
Forward thrust (3d10)

Last time on Euro Quest, we squished people trying to get a back scratch, had wild sex with a vampire who we then decided to make our second wife, but got turned down and are trying to prove ourselves to her.

Oh, and we chilled in Khorne's Bloodbowl Stadium for a while, he's a hell of a guy, Khorne. Oh, and we found a Witch Hunter of Sigmar, who contracted Nurgle's Rot thanks to us asking him to touch something.

You wake up about... Midday, the sun is covered in fog, and you get up. Not too far away from you is Frankiza, who you decide to ask a question.

"Why aren't you on fire or burning?"

"Eh, younger vampires aren't really effected by the sun."

"Oh, well I suppose that's awfully convenient."

"Yeah... Hey, what's that axe doing next to you?"

You turn, and see a blood-stained axe, complete with a few symbols of khorne, that sort of thing. You hear a voice in your head. That of the swell guy, Khorne.

FOR BEING A COOL GUY LAST NIGHT, I DECIDED TO GIVE YOU AN AXE THAT HEALS PEOPLE OF NURGLE'S ROT.

How the fuck... Khorne, axes kill people. I might cure them but chances are they're going to be missing a limb.
