Daily reminder that if you're car can't hit 60mph in first gear you are probably an utter moron.

Daily reminder no one gives a shit
>>16044091
Hey, asshole, maybe some of us here can only afford cars that have the power of four harnessed children!
>>16044091
Hello moron.
Would it be possible to turn a car into a swimming pool and still drive it around? How would I do it?
Would I get arrested?
What would be the best vehicle to do it with? I'm thinking some old cheap piece of shit convertible.

Here is the music video that inspired me to do this.
>>16044011
As stupid as that may sound. I would like to drive around in a car that's been converted into a Swimming pool/Jacuzzi.

That music video you posted was super fucking gay, OP
did someone say 2-tone ? 2-tone thread.

Custom styling, a ballsack looks fresh with a two-tone paintjob don't you know, now try this lemonade.

You're sat in traffic and a bald gentleman runs up to your drivers side window and taps on the glass. As you roll down the window you notice it is Christian Von Assfucker, founder of the Koenigsegg car company. He is visibly panicked and tells you his wife urgently needs to change her tampon, he asks if she may do it on your front passenger seat.
What do you do?
>>16043624
Just...no.....just no
>someone took the time to think of this scenario and then proceeded to post it on a children's arts and crafts forum
Only if I get to watch.
What does everyone think of Chris fix? Are his videos on car repair accurate?
Personally I enjoy his videos and have picked up a few tips from watching.
Mechanic here, yes his videos are very informative. Pretty sure he used to work in a garage from techniques he uses
>>16043435
i like his videos
I like them, although he spaces his videos out too far
Hi guys,
I went to my first car meet-up with a friend last night and had a blast. I met some cool people and even cooler cars (lots of Skylines, E46 M3's). I never really considered myself a car guy, but after seeing how much fun everyone was having racing and just talking about cars I want to take a step into the car world.
I talked to some of the BMW enthusiasts there and they told me that an E46 330ci is a decent first choice considering I can't afford an M3. I've had about 10k set aside for a car since I started college, so I'm thinking with a ~6000 CAD payment for the car and an extra ~4000 CAD for the shit that will inevitably have to be replaced I have a good start.
I'm not set on a BMW, but I am leaning more towards it because a lot of my friends drive one and could repairs and whatnot for cheap. Do you think this is a good option for me or should I look into something else? I know it's my first car, but I want something I can invest in and really have fun driving.
>>16043396
Do it, just try to stay under 150k miles. I DD a 2004 BMW 325Ci, at 135k miles and it runs strong.
Get a two door as well, 4 door e46's are for 16 yr old girl's daddy present tbqh familia.
They are very fun, tossable and handle fairly well, Its basically the same engine as a 25i just .5 more liters and some better compression. Repairs aren't too bad, had mine for a year and only spent like $450 on initial small fixes and tune ups.
I say go for it but try to get like a 2003 or 2004. 2001 is fairly old.
Pic related (my whip)

Yes, it is a good car to consider. The e46 330ci is easy to learn to work on and has considerable aftermarket options. Stay on the maintenance; its not a Toyota. But this is certainly a car that can introduce you to the pleasures of motoring. Your budget is spot on in terms of having a cushion for repairs and maintenance. Get a CarFax and as many maintenance records that you can on the vehicle and DO NOT considering buying one that does not have such documentation. I am done here.
>tfw you want a 330ci
>There are barely any manuals in your cunt
>Buy 3 tires get one free
>buy two tires get one free
>>16043368
damn, then you just gotta buy four
>>16043400
>Not buying four and getting two free spares.
Do you even trophy truck bro?
Anything you plan on building in the future. Here's mine, building next year because I need a truck for college (Lots of mud, dirt and snow)
>70's c10 (Not stepside)
>Drop engine and trans, or buy one without any in the first place
>zz502 crate engine, 500hp 575lb/ft
>TH400 auto trans with a shift kit (I've had a manual for a while and I feel like I wouldn't want it in a truck)
>Big rear end to handle all the torques :3
>Stripped interior, presuming it's gonna be nasty cuz I won't spend much on the truck, maybe some speakers and a decent head unit
>No a/c, maybe heat
>Bed bars and a 4 k/c lights across the top
>Set of meaty street tires in the rear for the
1320
>4 snow tires/boggers chained in the back for the aesthetic, also could use them in case surprise offroading or snowstorm, nice to have some weight in the back
>Will be left with a comfy, fast, capable, good looking c10 for around 25k :3

purely benchbuilding but
>coyote IRS trackrat/toegay/autocross 1965 first gen mustang
>longitudinal MR 26b stuffed into . . . . Actually I have no idea what would be a good candidate.
>>16043301
I've always dreamed of doing that first build of yours. Something about a 60s mustang with a modern drivetrain sounds wet
>>16043301
>IRS '65 Mustang
You're about 50 years late.
http://www.drivingline.com/articles/the-65-mustang-gt350r-finally-gets-irs-it-only-took-50-years/
I'd build it like that Shelby, using an all-aluminium 289. Maybe add the '66 optional Paxton, but it'd be amazing to keep it a ''what if''.

Its like they have 'well endowed douche' written in the doors.

Buy a civic off CL for $3k
Do a complete restore to better than factory condition
People will know you're better than them if you have the time and money to waste on such an endeavor.

Hey br/o/s, remember the thread where I documented How i crashef and fixed my shitbox? , well its already running without a problem, for those who commented that the car would never be the same. I answer questions
Doesn't look like that big of a crash to be honest.
Was the bumper even damaged?
>>16043033
they were right thought
you obviously change the grill
Itll forever be broken in your head. Every random tiny clunk you'll hear will make you think it's from your previous crash.
Why does Mazda get so much hate around here? They are literally everything you faggots claim to want from a manufacturer
>small/independent but not underground
>responsible for making some of the GOAT category cars
>Miata
>Mazda3
>ROTARY
Yet you stupid niggers rather go with your piece of shit overproduced zero effort American "muscle cars" fuckin lmao
they also focus heavily on light weight and driving experience across their lineup
i guess it's frustration that their whole linup would be vastly improved simply by adding turbos but they dont seem to want to use them
They're average on a good day. They made the NB (which is only good now considering how cheap a used one is) and the FD, everything else irrelevant. The ND brand new is too expensive for what you get to be worth it, and most of their cars have, again, average at best reliability and build quality. They're not shit, like Nissan, but they're not amazing.
>>16042983
This right here
Also they could seduce me if they sold AWD mazda 3's, maybe some sort of performance package.
Renault-Nissan should just turn Mitsubishi into an enthusiast-cars-only marque desu
>Evo
>GTO
>FTO
>Eclipse
>Galant VR4
They can't make good cars, only fun cars. Leave normie cars to Nissan.
>>16042933
I wouldn't mind that. Do they even sell any regular sedans? I see like no regular Lancers or Galants on the road. Maybe they can keep one full size SUV in the lineup.
>>16042933
>all over complicated and unreliable
Yup. Normal Nissan Mitsubishi Renault
>thinking they won't just use them to crank out even more shitty normie cars
Which one would you Fuck, Marry and Kill?
>>16042863
kill kill fuck
>>16042863
Fuck Chrysler because they make a lot of cool and exciting stuff but you never want to live with them for 10 years.
Kill GM because they just don't do anything right. Lots of their outdated engines do seem to last but that's about it.
Marry Ford because they are the best blend of exciting and reliable among American car companies.
This is the only correct answer.
>>16042879
Swap GM and Chrysler and that's my answer.
