>most decorated unit in WWII virtually unknown to Americans
>"but muh band of brothers"
>>31723816
define "most decorated"
Every unit was "most decorated", depending on the definition you're using
>>31723830
by the literal definition of most decorated
>>31723816
What the fuck is wrong with their faces
I'm going to buy a silencer and let the ATF search my butthole in the coming week (or supressor for the autists who say adhesive bandages instead of bandaids). I have an AR-15 and an AR-10, so I'm thinking about getting a Saker 762 and an endcap for 5.56. Is this a good choice? What do you lads think about this?
Post your cans or dream cans. Ask questions. Give answers. Shitpost. Above all else: pls respond.
>>31723783
just because I'm an autist doesn't mean you're not wrong for calling it a silencer
>>31723815
>Silencerco
>no such thing as Suppressorco
Land of the free.
Hey /k/
My grandmother recently gave this to me, she said it belonged to my great grandfather who was a major in the Austrian army during ww1. I've been trying to find out what kind of sword it is... I've heard it may even be a bayonet?? Any help would be very appreciated
It's a saber you mong
>>31723734
It has a while in the handguard, so I would assume that is to mount it as a bayonet. However I do not know the rifle it is made for
>>31723757
Is there any specific name to it?
I'm a gun nut not a sword dude...
In spirit of the upcoming race war, post your innawoods race war loadouts.

Why do people still pay for gun oil when 3 in 1 is cheaply available at every hardware store and even Walmart?
>>31723327
3-in-1 is shit for guns. Parts of it evaporate removing the corrosion protection. The parts that don't end up becoming a crud that gums things up worse than cosmoline. The bottles with the straw also leak through capillary action even with the cap on.
>>31723327
I use motor oil or transmission fluid.
>>31723397
>Parts of it evaporate removing the corrosion protection.
As long as there is a film of oil that blocks air from the metal, rust cannot occur.
>The parts that don't end up becoming a crud that gums things up worse than cosmoline
I've never had that happen.
So what lubricant do you use?
what is the selection on the right? i got a reciever yesterday and it has the same options in pic related
That's the setting you point the giggleswitch towards that makes it fully semi-automatic.
>>31723259
>Actually buying a full auto receiver
Jesus you're a dumbass. That means you're going to be able to build a machine gun. The ATF partners with gun stores and sells full auto parts (WHICH ARE VERY ILLEGAL TO BUY) to criminals so that the FBI and ATF can hunt you down and arrest you. You're fucked, OP, they have your address and name and everything. Why would you buy that? Better kiss your ass goodbye, thats 10+ years in federal "pound-me-in-the-ass" prison time, buddy. plus you're a felon now so no gun rights even when you're released. (if they dont tack in enough shit to make it life, lol)
>>31723259
That's the double-feed setting. Chambers two bullets at once, so you can shoot more bullet faster.
Chris Costa doesn't know how to swim. When will you /k/ommandos just accept this fact? This has come up in a few threads lately and his fanboys freak out. The truth is slowly leaking out.
HE CAN'T SWIM.
He admitted it to an anon here who took one of his classes.
The dude is the shit, he knows his stuff and knows when to not take himself too serious. He doesn't advertise this fact but is pretty open about it when you ask.
@31723251
Who?
>>31723251
>Chris Costa
How can you spend 12 years in the coast guard without taking a swimming test?
>ex-Coastie
>not being able to swim
Nigger, it's a REQUIREMENT to know how to swim.
/k/ gets the house in the picture. We pay no bills at all what happens. Use your imagination.
I live comfortably in a zombie proof house? What are you looking for here?
>>31723354
I meant all of /k/ gets slammed in living together
>>31723600
I sell my share to someone else, take the profits and get away from you fat fucks.
Got pic related in the mail today. Going to put an LED bulb in it and use it as an emergency light for power outages and whatnot.
>>31723214
Holy 80's batman
>>31723214
Why? They were considered to be shit even 20+ years ago.
>>31723254
I know, but I can't help it. I had one when I was a kid and I was in fucking love.
Why does no one talk about Italian WW2 weapon and vehicles?
ITT we will discuss the ones that were not borrowed from Germany. Yes they were shit compared to even the Japanese, but they worked. There is a charm in that.
Because Italy wasn't even IN ww2 duh
>>31723211
I agree, the minor powers don't get enough attention. I wish we had more Romanian, Hungarian, and others shown here too.
>>31723245
Nice shitpost
Pic related. This is at 30 yards. This is a new ar 15 build. Magpul MBUS sights. I had to move the front sight post all the way "up" because of how low the gun was firing. I am aiming just under the bullseye. I am not "chasing it". Is there something else I should be doing. I sighted shooting 60 rounds, 3 rounds at a time then moving the target up to see my hits. Any ideas or suggestions?
>>31723204
How the fuck do you shoot that shit so close?
>Is your sight picture correct?
>are your sights securely mounted?
>were you shooting from a supported position?
>why are you trying to do a 6 o'clock hold on a rifle?
>>31723204
More dry fire practice pham.
>>31723204
Are you shooting from a rest or standing?
Just saw this, RMA Armament just released a line of NIJ IV standalone rifle plates that weigh only 4.4 lbs and cost only $400 each. With the weight of body armor dropping this much, is it possible that we'll start seeing the average soldier having more armor coverage than they currently do?
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/10/12/rma-armament-lightest-level-iv-plate/
I don't believe it.
>>31723200
How many hits from standard 7.62 NATO ball can it take?
I just bought this bolo Mauser C96 for $600. Did I do well? Also, does anyone know of a good place to buy .30 Mauser ammo for it?
>>31722732
Nice m8. Does it actually function? How does the bore look? Pic related is mine I got for $600.
Here's a list of suppliers for ammo.
http://ammoseek.com/ammo/7.63x25mm-mauser
>>31722950
Yeah, it does function. The seller says it has a decent bore. Thanks for the link. Those prices are better than I was expecting.
One of my range buddies has one. He can't find the reloading dies for it but he's saving brass for if he ever does.
But Anon is on track- Ammoseek is the readily available way to find it and start stockpiling it
I'm trying to get an active shooter set up for my trunk. Are team Wendy helmets worth it?
Team Wendy's founder supports Hillary, so no
>inb4 the shitstorm of republican butthurt
hillary held a press conference at their facility.
this apparently makes them the devil.
>>31722749
Does this make them less bullet proof? What are some other options as far as helmets go.
Why does my rangemaster get asshurt that I use weaver stance? Isosceles stance, although admittedly more accurate, makes you look like a giant faggot and isn't practical enough or quick enough to employ in self defense.
Why even argue it, isosceles is better. Naturally I wanna one hand or weaver stance when I grab a pistol.
If you are training or on the range it's better to try and do it with a better stance so you're more likely to do it as instinct.
>>31722699
>although admittedly more accurate,
It's only more accurate if that's the stance you shoot better with. I never see any difference when i compare the two.
Tell your RO he's a knob goblin.
>>31722699
Because it's a vastly inferiour stance. While how you shoot is your business as long as you're being safe, the earlier you switch over to Isosceles, the better. You're just widening your training scars at this point.
>although admittedly more accurate
Okay, now you're just confused. Isosceles is about transitioning and recoil management, not """accuracy""".
>makes you look like a giant faggot and isn't practical enough or quick enough to employ in self defense.
Now I'm wondering whether you're actually this retarded or just trolling.
