Anyone can kill and hunt with a sling, but it takes real skill to kill and hunt with a rock.
Skillfully thrown or melee bashed, or even used as a distraction.

Now that the dust has settled, what was the purpose of Kirov-class?
...to attack US surface fleets whilst defending itself from NATO air assets.
As is clearly evident from its massive anti-ship missiles and titanic numbers of surface to air missiles and multiple launchers.
Do Russian ships have the ability to track multiple aerial threats at once?
I know the Ticonderoga glass can track a shit load of targets and relay targets to other ships to engage. But can Russian ships do the same?
Could you in theory overwhelm a Russian anti-air system on a ship if you spam missiles and planes at it?

Rusting.
Alot of happenings happen and ya making ya last stand. Hillary death squads are banging on ya door, you've fought hard to the bitter end.
What are /k/'s last words/thoughts before the door is breached?

Does artillery still play an important role in war? Do they have a future? Or will they be replaced by bombers and missles?
Ofcourse they are important. Mobile, cost effective, deadly.
The Field Artillery will forever remain important to the ground commander.
The bombers will never be able to provide the on-point and accurate support a single battery of field guns can unless you load it with JDAMs and designate targets. With a bomber or missile, you need to worry about medium to high-end air defense systems swatting them out of the sky. With a battery of field guns, ever more so modern self-propelled artillery guns with 10+ rounds per minute and MRSI abilities? Counter-battery is the biggest threat, something self-propelled guns can circumvent with proper fire-and-maneuver abilities.
Missiles, in their current and future shape, still lack the overall accuracy beyond the hugely expensive missile guidance systems to be widely battlefield proliferated.
You can build a 155mm HE shell for dozens of dollars and put on some guidance parts that cost a few thousand dollars per kit, as opposed to a Maverick missile, which costs 17,000 to over 100,000+ dollars per unit. There is also value in saturation fire with 'dumb' HE rounds. Have you tried saturation fire with smart weapons? Do you want that bill?
In short. No. Fucking no. XM2001 Crusader over whatever dumbshit NLOS missile garbage the Army likes right now.
How does counter battery effect things like mortars and towed artillery? Towed artillery seems to be on the way out desu but what about mortars? Same thing?
hint: you can't
Delete this thread and make room for a good one, retard.
>>31732133
A proper thread had to die because you made this...
can an AR configured in an SMG format be decent for concealment in a car or jacket? and better yet, is it a decent firearm or would it lack too much in accuracy? i figured the portability with aftermarket made a good combination.
inb4 watchlist'd.
youd be a million time better off with this if you were concerned with concealment but wanted capacity
ar pistols are not lacking in mechanical accuracy but are lacking in ways to hold them

Interesting if functional
Post whatever you have, faggots. I'm counting on you.
Also post any gadgets or similar stuff, maybe even prepper manuals if you have some.
Hand to hand combat tips also welcome.
Post them, you fags. I don't have all day.
Hi /k/
So long story short, I've come to posses an old remington model 552 speedmaster. According to the date code it was made in 1971, which matches up about right from the person i got it from.
From what I'm told it hasn't been fired in +/- 15 years, and it's been wrapped in a towel in a closet.
It's not in the best shape. There is some surface rust on the barrel and mag tube. The reciever and bolt are filthy. And the furniture is dented and scratched to shit.
I'm not nogunz. But at the same time I don't have an expertise cleaning a weapon that's been neglected like this. Any advice is appreciated. Pic is the gun with more pics incoming.
Do you plan on keeping the gun?
Does it have a sentimental value?
>>31732051
I'm not keeping it. I'm giving it back to who i got it from after I try and get it clean as a favor.

This is a dumb question. Russia and America are allies.

What does /k/ think about the Tavor? Thinking about picking one up before shit hits the fan.

Meme gun
>>31731816
/k/ in general seems to hate it. I personally think that the X95 is a good design overall, but let down by being manufactured by IWI. The whole 5MoA thing is just too much for me to try to redeem.
>>31731816
Over priced under performing minor safety hazard but useful mag compatability and short length can be useful close in
So these got me into thinking...
Is it legal to mount a gun on a motorcycle? If the gun itself is legal?
I feel like that would be considered "brandishing" the firearm.
No, not even in open carry states. Your gun has to be pointed in a safe direction, even in Texas...
>>31731769
What about a pintle mount on a sidecar?
What is good accuracy for a pistol? With rifles you usually judge by moa at 100yds but with pistols what range is the standard?
What kind if groups are considered decent at a given range?
The 100 yard MOA thing is only important if you plan to shoot at that range. Meaning if you're hunting indawoods, it's not important at all. So if you're ever going to use a pistol in self defense, less than 10 yards covers most cases.
depends on your intended purpose. I'm happy with a solid few inch group at 25 yards. If yo want more precise or movement based, check out competition rules for idpa or ipsc. They will be more stringent.
>>31731702
>What is good accuracy for a pistol?
A zone hits at 50 yards or more on a USPSA target.
>Have 100 series AKM
>Can't find a sling that isn't a halfassed piece of shit for it, or even purpose built for it
Please halp
>>31731696
Buy a rifle sling. Jesus Christ. Why do you think you need some super spesul AK specific sling?
I swear to fucking god, for a board obsessed with surviving SHTF, you all can't put 2+2 together unless it's spoonfed in an infographic.
>>31731729
Because I've been through that, am unsatisfied with them, and want a purpose built one like for my AR
>>31731696
>100 series "AKM"
???
