Are you willing to kill people for Hillary Clinton?
The Marine Corps is quietly rolling out a new initiative aimed at building Marines who are fit spiritually as well as physically. In coming months, discussions about spiritual fitness and making moral choices will be part of the curriculum at the Corps' Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia, and at corporals' and sergeants' courses around the service, Rear Adm. Brent Scott, chaplain of the Marine Corps, told Military.com in an interview.
>"We're now at the tail end of what was a long war in Iraq and Afghanistan. We found that much of the resilience we saw was not necessarily attributed to something that somebody could do in the gym," he said. "A lot had to do with the heart and soul of the individual." Spiritual does not necessarily mean religious, Scott clarified. He breaks spiritual fitness into three parts: personal faith, personal values, and moral living and decision-making.
>"A moral compass doesn't just come from a faith foundation; it's not enough to make a decision based on what is legally right or wrong," Scott said. "Chaplains will help Marines discover that compass for themselves -- that center of gravity that comes from their own upbringing, personal experiences, and religious teaching." As a first line of effort, Scott said, his office is creating discussion guides around a book on the commandant's professional reading list: "What It Is Like to Go to War," by Navy Cross recipient Karl Marlantes, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.

Really isn't anything new. It's basically a bullshit "holistic" phrase for "are you of sound mind and have a way to cope"
So can someone explain to me why there aren't as many 5.45 AK pistols/SBRs as 7.62s? What's wrong?
>>31726116
They tried it and 7n6 got banned
I've always wanted a Yugo PAP pistol in 5.45 but I don't think yugoslavia ever used 5.45
>>31726326
You can get it 5.56 though. Serbia is moving to NATO rounds, just a few years ago they finally stopped making their dmr rifles in 8mm and went to 7.62x51
Just ordered this, I used to have an m1a UltraMatch back in the late 80's, had to ditch it do to imperial entanglements, always missed that rifle, anyway just look at this beauty- a chopped down m14, with night sights, but a bit heavy (8.8 lbs) am I being overly optimistic expecting 1 moa outta the box? Every review I've seen on jootoob is positive. I paid 1349 shipped for this boom stick.
Meme rifle, but at least it has a strong lineage. Sounds like you got a good price, too.
agreed, total meme rifle.
>even has the pepe pattern
well meme'd, friend!
So is "over penetration" just some horseshit used to push more expensive hollowpoint ammo or is it something to seriously consider in your EDC?
I don't mind blowing some extra cash to get some hollowpoint but curious if it really is more effective then good old ball ammo.
>9mm btw
>>31726005
7.62 fmj heh. what a great movie.
Either is fine desu. I guess technically hollow points might be better for day to day shit since anybody attacking you outside the wal-mart or whatever probably isn't wearing body armor, but honestly I don't see where it's too huge of a difference for a cc gun
>fmj for armor
>hollowpoints for bodies
>>31726005
Please buy HP for your carry ammo. I don't care how poor you are.
How long does it take to dig tunnels like this?
How physically laborous is it?
About tree fiddy.

An appropriate amount of time.
Yes.
Calling moleman, I know it's not that late in canada
Hey guys, I don't normally post on /k/, so sorry if I sound like a moron.
Anyway, I'm looking into getting a self-defense weapon since my neighborhood is looking slightly dicier every day and I don't really want to move out because I'm poor enough that I could only really move somewhere just as crappy anyway.
Thing is, I don't really want something lethal because if someone attacked me I'd really rather not kill him because
1. I'm a huge pussy and would regret it the rest of my life and...
2. I'm not up on self-defense laws in my nation/state/city/anything really and I'm more likely to not get thrown in jail for manslaughter or whatever if I didn't actually kill whoever was attacking me.
What I would like, however, is maybe a weapon good for breaking potential assailant's legs? That way they can't run away so they're still here when the cops come to arrest them. Is there a good weapon for non-lethal leg breaking that' easy to use? What are the best weapons for non-lethal self defense?
Thanks.
The best weapon is being involved in your community and understanding the tensions that allow issues like this to exist.
>>31725425
this.
Trust me anon, you don't want to find yourself in a situation where you have to use force.
>>31725414
what state do you live in? often times non-lethal self defense tools are under regulation just as tight or more so than firearms and carrying a taser/pepper spray may be illegal
Hello, /k/.
This is my first time posting on this board, but I figured I might as well ask here.
I reside in an open carry state and one that isn't too accepting nor tolerant of transgender people.
My younger brother recently came out to the rest of us about their pursuit for gender transitioning. He isn't that worried oddly enough when I feel he should be. I am working on relocating somewhere, but in the meantime, I feel I may need something for protection. I can afford a firearm, but this will be the last thing I purchase as I must save up for the move.
What is the best firearm that I can conceal and pull out quickly in case some ass tries to start shit with me or my family? I am all about family so if someone fucks with one of my relatives then we have a problem.
Thank you again, /k/.

Beginner AR thread
I am a minimum wage slave. 8.50 an hour and all i can get for hours is a half shift because we're hiring so many people for the season atm.
Which means 30-40$ a day and my math suggests that i will have about 800$ extra spending cash after all my payments but i also really want to buy an AR.
I'm sick of being noguns and need to feel the satisfying kick against my shoulder again. i've tried to look and look and it seems like i can only find the Ruger 556 or the Smith and Wesson M&P sport 2.
Are there any other entry level ARs that /k/ might suggest?
Budget operator ya know
Just wait a few months and save your monies, anon. Patience is a virtue.
>>31725391
I would agree with this if a national election wasn't around the corner.
>>31725363
You can't go wrong with the S&W or the Ruger. I really think those are the two best entry ARs. Don't overthink it. You can make changes or upgrade after you learn more about the rifle.
Bought another mosin, I'm cleaning it and under the handguard is some markings or someone's initials
Looks like 45 (1945 probably) then something else.
Any Rusanons
>>31725278
>>31725294
looks like 44 not 45.
Okay fellas, let's put you in a post-apocalyptic scenario. You're just starting out and you're scavenging for supplies, weapons, and gear.
You come across a sword, a crowbar, and a baseball bat.
Which do you take?
>>31725202
Crowbar is, in essence, based on the paremeters youve set for us, is the best option.

Would it last, or would it wear out really easily?
They already exist. Look it up.
>>31725003
.45acp is such a weak round it literally doesn't matter
we have poly guns that can shoot .45super for years already anyway
>>31725003
Considering they make glocks for .45 (and hotter rounds) already this is a pretty dumb fucking question.
Is it possible to shoot accurately while running?
maybe if you have gyroscope robot arms
>>31724969
As long as you're using the Steady Aim perk, yes you're good to go.
