GUN COLLECTIONS
Poorfag here. How do you guys afford all the guns you own? I only have two guns at the moment. How long does it take to create a respectable collection?
>>31711051
Your whole lifetime, buy it low sell it high for cooler shit. You happen on good deals or take a gamble, just don't put your gun collection ahead of living.
>>31711051
all you REALLY need is a semi-auto rifle, and a handgun in a man-stopping caliber.
>>31711083
>all you REALLY need
>need
rrrrrRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE
Legit question now that this thing is active.
Is it actually good or is it just a meme ship like the littoral combat ship?
define your terms
>>31710763
What is a "meme" in your eyes? Genuine question
>>31710850
>>31710862
Well I mean besides it's stealth capabilities and new gun system what sets it apart from other destroyers considering the price tag? It's literally more than twice as expensive as a Type-45 destroyer.

>Yes it can. It is its basic functionality.
No, anon, it is not. There is not a single scrap of evidence that a A-50 or Mig-31 can guide any SAM. Furthermore, there is no proof that a Mig 31 can fire a missile to then be guided by an A-50. In short, russia lacks CEC.
If you disagree, Provide proofs.
Hell, being that this is the first post in the OP, i might as well answer the other one too.
>the US is attacking Russian IADS with two bombers?
No, the concept was 2 B-1B's attacking a sam complex, its not as if every single sam asset in russia can support one another.
>48 missiles will be eaten alive by SAMs themselves.
3 launchers, 4 missiles per, 12 missiles there, plus another 20 or so due to pantsir and other point defenses, thats about 32 missiles right there. You wont have time to reload during a single attack. Thats 10 missiles to complete the mission assuming 100% intercept success rate.
>Good job doubling the amount of escort needed.
Its not like the airforce does not lack logistic assets or airframes. They launched, what, 78 aircraft for one strike? We are talking 6 here, 2 B-1's 2 escorts each.
Anyways, russian thread

>guy thinks russia has Cooperative Engagement Capability.
Wew laddy, they are in the 90s right now, trying to build a cohesive airborne battle network.
Pretty fucking funny shit to think they got to CEC levels of a battle web.
>>31710719
Yeah, its a bit weird why he would imply Russia has this, when they clearly don't, hence why i asked for proof.
Colt has officially gone MLOK.
RIP in peace Keymod.

Wondered if any /k/ommandos will be present. as I know some of you care about land ownership rights. Just curious.
>>31710482
I would if it wasnt all the way on the other side of the country
>People always talk about freeing out independence from Middle Eastern oil
>Everytime a new pipeline, distribution center, or coal to liquids plant gets put in the works, a bunch of protesters paid for by the Serria Club show and RRREEEEE over a complete non-issue
Can't have it both ways.
And why would i give half a shit about a pipeline? how does this infringe on any of my rights?
If it's an emminent domain issue or some shit, that ship sailed a long time ago when you cucks let the feds buy most of the west.
What's the point of a single action only semiautomatic handgun?
What are the pros and cons vs a DA/SA pistol?
>>31710434
SAO pistols have better triggers
DA/SA can be carried safely without a safety, but have slightly inconsistent trigger pulls vs SAO or DAO.
>>31710434
The trigger mechanism in an SAO pistol is much simpler.
That results in a better feeling and lighter trigger, all other things being equal.
Also, there doesn't need to be space for the double action parts, so this means a lower bore axis, if you care about that sort of thing.
While it's true that it also means fewer moving parts, I don't personally think that makes it inherently more reliable, since none of those moving parts are stress parts.

What's a good backpack for all my survival needs?
And I'm talking about big ass backpacks. Not these daypacks for a single day innawoods. I wanna survive for weeks to come. Or atleast stuff a month worth of clothing into it.
Now that I made this thread I realised this belongs more to /out/ than /k/.
I'm sorry.
Alice pack. anything larger and youre carrying too much
>>31710208
USGI alice pack.

What happened to that Kang?
Best air superiority fighter jet?
Interested in what /k/ has to say. And by best, I mean all around in speed, maneuverability, range, armament, production cost, etc, etc.
Is it a tie between the SU35 and F15?
Is stealth just a meme?
Are two seats better than one?
Someone redpill me on fighter jets.
>>31710054
Including cost, F-35.
Without cost, F-22, F-35 and Typhoon.
>>31710054
>Is it a tie between the SU35 and F15?
It's most certainly neither of these aircraft.

Buckle up, buckaroo, you are in for a ride.
meme gun in a meme caliber
How bad did i fuck up
>>31709935
Depends. Do you reload? Do you do it well enough that working with a funky cartridge doesn't intimidate you?
If the answer to those two questions is "no" you're going to end up leaving that thing in a safe or trading it in for something non-ridiculous within a year, or else your wallet has the biggest dick in the room and isn't afraid of getting raped by those prices.
>>31709935
US Marshals... Park... Secret service all use them

Not OP here.
The P223? If so how like? I was looking at one the other day.
Let's talk about youtube channels, what are some good /k/ related channels you fellas enjoy?
I like Florida Bullfrog. He's pretty /k/ or at least /k/-friendly.
Most of his stuff is hunting and light survival videos. He is also into PCP airguns and has some of the better reviews and home-tinkering discussions I've seen about them. Just seems like a real person, friendly guy with hobbies and a lot of knowledge about them, rather than some full on autist or know it all.
I'm starting to like Royal Nonesuch a lot. He makes his own guns and hangs out with Mark Serbu
>>31709233
I have recently watched Vet Ranch more. I think the dude definitely has a right to take his break with guns and goofy stuff they do at Demolition Ranch.
Generally I like channels where if dudes are shilling, it is not hidden.
