Why haven't you joined the master race?
You uploaded the wrong pic, you used HK instead of Glock.

Lair! Its a smoothbore Derringer in a 40 watt range.
Cost considerations aside [I know, but indulge me] should a general purpose cartridge be adopted by the military?
Question's been done to death.
Assuming you could get a 6-7mm projectile with the same or less weight (i.e. caseless), 800m range, and only pay for it with a smidgen more recoil, sure, why not.
My kid wants a pony if we're making wishes though.
>>31712721
>same weight
>smidgen more recoil
Aren't these unrealistic goals, though? Going to have to bite the bullet on one of them, at least.
>>31712794
Smidgen being somewhere between 6.8 and .243. 6.5x55 is probably too much, but I don't kick doors, so I may be overestimating the muzzle rise.
Who was in the right? Ventura always seemed like an exaggerating/stolen valor type of guy, since Kyle actually saw combat.
It's next to impossible to win a libel lawsuit in the US.
Just think about that fact.

Hulk Hogan did it.
OOOH YEA WHATCHA GONNA DOO WHEN THE HULKSTER COMES FOR YOU BROTHER??
I live in commiefornia, and im having some severe anxiety. Idk what to buy. I have a quality ak, ar, ar308, vepr12, sig522, I've owned a Aug and idk if I liked it enough to get something similar. I have 2000$ to spend, and any sporting rifle will be unable to be transfered or even kept unless registered as an "assault weapon". What do I get next k? I have been thinking of a pistol caliber carbine, just for cheap plinking. Or maybe a m92 pap rifle. Scorpion evo? Another 308 battle rifle like a century c308 or ptr? Kriss vector? It's gotten to the point where I have even considered getting a fake Id for a neighbour state, something I won't do because of the orange jumpsuit factor.
What do I buy?
Keep in mind it needs a BB
I can't leave till I am done with my degree, and then my graduate degree.
>>31712377
OP I'm in the same boat as you, got similar rifles and can't leave till I get my degree. If I were you I'd get another AK or get a PTR91. i would buy a PTR but I'm broke and transferring in the spring, just can't afford to spend :(
>>31712377
get something to help you hide the guns you own now as its not far off that they WILL just ban them soon
or get Ammo before it takes a FBI background check to buy it (cuz internet sellers are not going to do that shit)
>>31712377
Buy some cheap ammo online because the bill that passed will take effect in a year or two, while the prop that's being voted on November will go into effect next year if it passes (it's gonna pass, because californialol)
The rest? save up for when you graduate and you got some wiggle room for when you settle out of this liberalshit state.

I have 2 questions /k/. I'm buying a yugo SKS from Classic Firearms for $430 (not including shipping). Is CF a good seller to buy from? I've heard they can be pretty shady about the condition of their guns, and I don't want to get fucked. Is $430 a good price?
Also, what is the best place to buy 7.62x39? Looking for non-corrosive because of
>no chrome lol (btw is the lack of chrome as big a deal as people make it out to be?)
430 for a fucking SKS? Holy shit

the SKS in question
>>31712329
Ive never heard of anyone have a problem with them.
>no chrome
no it isnt an issue as long as you clean your gun after shooting. Chrome lining isn't necessary unless you are actually operating. It just meant to slow barrel corrosion from moisture and corrosive ammo.
What brand of 9mm ammo is the best for CCW?
>inb4 glaser saftey slugs
Federal HST, end of discussion.
The ones that fit?
Believe it or not Remington Golden Saber is the ONLY non shit remington product.
I gotta be honest, /k/. I want some shurikens.
>>31712203
I'm kind of surprised no one on /k/ has any interest in/knowledge of this subject.
>>31712203
Throwing a knife of any kind in a fight is retarded.
There is only two outcomes that would logically happen.
The first of which, and the most probable, is you hit the person with the knife, it doesn't do anything, he now has a knife.
Second of which is that you hit the person with the knife, it cuts him, he is now really mad and now has a knife.
Throwing a knife is a mathematical event that has to all add up to work. Learning how to throw a knife, from a specific distance, into a fixed target, and with a consistent success rate is difficult.
Throwing a knife into a moving target at a distance you don't exactly know and attempting to hit a specific spot to achieve any kind of damage is damn near impossible.
Throwing knives just for fun though is great. Reason why our booth does so good at the RenFest.
>OP doesn't ask question
>OP is surprised he didn't get answer
Why do we never get to see this guns being discussed on /k/?
I know that most people hates HK but other than that why?

People here never piloted a f35 and still they talk about them, I fail to see your point.
You get time warped back to 1930. WW2 is on the horizon and you're in charge of the small arms development team.
Given your 20/20 hindsight from the future, what parts of rifles do you pillage to arm your stronk nation of Kommandostan? You have no regard for patents, a sizable budget, and can only use materials and manufacturing means from the time period.

Mauser bolt and Mosin aesthetic. For some damn reason i love the way the stock looks on those bastards. Bigger capacity like an enfield. Something .30 cal.
>>31712148
Did they even have enough aluminum at the time? An all steel/wood AR would be beautiful though. Can't imagine the 5.56 argument would pass for the time period though.
Next/future purchase thread.
What's on your list?
I can't decide between a demilled RPG7 or an RDB.
>>31712090

would look good mounted over a fireplace
next on my list is an ar lower

so i have semi auto rifle before the election.
i think im going to get a beretta 92fs sometime between nov 3rd and the 8th.
Where can I buy M995 5.56x45mm black tip ammo online?
>>31712068
>Posts M855A1 Thinks its M995
Its so rare that not even real SOCOM troops can get there hands on it. Very limited quantity. You will never find it for sale. You will never encounter it from SWAT or Military..
>>31712068
you will never even see it unless you are a machine gunner in the military.
also you already know this but that is m855 a1
>>31712068
You know that is M855A1 correct?
