Accuracy and groupings. Say I was to give 2 AR15s to a shooter, one with a regular mil-spec trigger and the other with a Geissele. Is it safe to say the one with the fancy trigger will be more accurate if everything rlse is the same?

Largely depends on the skill of the shooter. A good shooter with an off the shelf ar will be able to outshoot a novice that has a decked out gun because the good shooter has the skill to do it.

You C A N N O T buy skill. Save the money by buying ammo or go to a carbine class taught by someone like Kyle Defoor. You can then buy a geissele trigger if you feel like it's the next logical step of increasing your performance. I've seen countless times where people have all these tricked out glocks and ar15's but they are lacking severely in the accuracy department. And I mean lacking like a motherfucker.

/k/ has become a much more monotonous place. "No fun allowed, politics all the time, agree with me or fuck off".

Quality had declined pretty drastically. Maybe in a couple years it will be restored. quality declined precipitously after sandyhook. maybe it didn't recover fully, but it definitely got better eventually.

Squeeze trigger, don't pull. Best place is usually between the tip pad and first crease, but it totally depends on trigger weight, pull length etc. etc...

use the pad of the finger, using the knuckle crease causes you to pull your shot

I have been shooting 2 mags of 15 twice a month. I can afford to do this year round.

I typically shoot once or twice a month (pistol) and go thru about 200 rounds an outing
I nig around with a 40 s&w so ammo is relatively cheap

when I go to the range I put at least 100 through my 1911 cause i'm a binge shooter.
I just recently got back into handguns because I always hated them since when I learned the dude at the class forcibly made me teacup after I told him multiple times that it was really fucking uncomfortable, and it ruined handguns for years for me.

Mine sucks. Bought it new. Barrel axis is out of alignment with receiver axis by several minutes of angle. What really pisses me off is that the factory knew this since they set the rear site almost all the way to the right. Now, even with a scope, I get 4-5 inches of windage zero drift just between 100 and 200yds. Quality control is non existant. I've got 5 other Ruger firearms that are OK to great, but I won't buy another unless I test it first.

The gun I'm talking about groups fine. Plenty of 1" 100yd groups with surplus green tip. I just have to calculate windage plus drop when changing distances. There are good ones out there. It's just kind of a crap shoot unless your gun shop has a buy back or return policy. Just get one, and if it's not up to snuff, sell at a small loss and keep trying till you find a good one.
Don't waste time/money with non-Ruger mags.

Nah they barely come with an edge. I've tried using a stone to touch up the edge of another machete I had but after like 30 minutes of work it didn't change anything. Even a file barely made a difference.

I have been using Cold Steel Machete's for years. I started with the 24" Latin, then a Cutlass Machete, and then the Chines War Sword Machete (pic related). I also bought like the Panga and some other cheap ones to give as gifts.

Pros
-Very good steel and temper
-Extremely Durable
-Easy to work on
-Coating does prevent rust

Cons:
-Some models have a lot of shock in the handles
-The coating is not pretty
-A lot of them used to come very dull, but new ones come better.

I highly recommend them as fixer ups. They are great if you get a good set up.

Glorious but flawed design. Loved the aesthetics of a WWI Webley British officer's side-arm.

Interesting side note - any FNS slide can fit on any FNS frame, and feed any FNS magazine.

For instance I put my FNS-40 Longslide on my FNS-9C Frame with either a 40 or 9 magazine

I'm not the most financially endowed person in the world, but I shoot as much as I can, cumulatively I have around 12k rounds shot through my FNSs and no issues.

People complain they have too many parts but I haven't been able to make that effect reliability.

The one thing about the trigger design I do consider a legit drawback - we will probably never get an APEX kit because of the complexity of it, and I would have liked one of those for my dedicated range gun the 9L.

Other trigger options are DIY polishing or my preferred method - shoot the gun until it's smooth.

That said the trigger is a great "fighting" trigger out of the box, there is lumpy take up (this doesn't seem to shoot out nearly as much as the reset) - but it's irrelevant,the reset starts gritty but smooths out very nicely.
