What does /k/ think about the FNP? Would an FNP in .357 SIG be worth it?
>>32884197
FNP is a dead line
FNX is what you want
Sage because this pistol is not appropriate to suggest
>>32884253
Oh, neat. Thanks.
>>32884310
You are welcome, I don't own and FNX's only FNS's so I can't help you very much more.
sage again, good luck in your search

/hgg/ Handgun General
Anybody else a handgun guy? What's your personal interest? Do you compete? Self defense? Hunt? Plink?
This is also a thread to request/seek advice on things related to handguns.
>>32884061
>Anybody else a handgun guy?
Me here. I have an AR and AK74 that I really don't care to shoot and I'm more invested in shooting my cc guns. I really only take out my AR to shoot because it's my home defense gun and that's it.
>What's your personal interest?
Defensive shooting. Ordered a shot timer the other day and I'm finally going to do timed drills now that I found a range an hour away from me that lets me draw, rapid fire and do all that kind of stuff.
>>32884123
Well at least there are two of us. 3 carbines here, never shoot them.
>>32884061
I like safty and drills. So as you can imagine I pretend my cordless is a pistol all the time.
Let's pretend for a minute, without arguing the semantics of the situation, that your only feasible method if self-defense was a concealed, fixed-blade knife.
Which knife and method of carry would you choose?
>>32884030
Step 1: Don't get in a knife fight
Step 2: Carry a pocket folder
No one gives a fuck about them.
>>32884030
The Fairbairn Sykes of course
>>32884030
The smallest and lightest one I could find so that I would be able to run away the most effectively without it weighing me down or jabbing into me.
i did it /k/ i signed up for a 3 day bounty hunting course. im ready to go out and round up some bailjumpers.
has anyone here done bail law enforcement. what kind of gear will i need?

Remember folks, SAGE goes in all fields. Thank you and have a nice day.
>>32883953
why?
>>32883930
so you gave up the troll life and decided to leave mom's basement?
In delayed entry for the USMC. Only scored a 75 on ASVAB, 100+ on all the seperate scores. Wanting to go infantry but want other opinions. Everyone else around me is begging me not to join and go to some libshit college.

Just become a grunt. You are too dumb for anything else.

CL
EL
GT
MM
ST
It's almost like those are all separate parts of the test and they're all added together to get your over-all score
>>32883857

Is there any reason not to pick up the Brigadier over the 92FS? It seems like a straight upgrade, even if those improvements are small.
>>32883756
I just asked myself this recently when picking up a new 92FS. I'm probably not going to shoot it enough to matter and got it as a range toy. The only thing I did was buy a steel guiderod off of beretta and I was happy with the gun.
I also hope this makes sense. I have the flu.
>>32883756
I got a 92fs then picked up a brigadier slide. The black slide really takes out the tackiness of the Inox.
>>32883830
Did you get the slide off of beretta's site? I didn't see it on that last time I did a quick check. How much was it?
Is there a better option for deer under $500 than a Tikka?
>>32883502
nope, unless you want to buy American & get a Savage Axis II XP
>>32883502
depends on foliage, terrain and hunting style
more info plox
You can occasionally get REALLY high end stuff used for dirt cheap on Armslist. Short of that, the Tikka and Savage are good options.
'Sup /k/, recent events in my state of Commifornia have inspired me to graduate from nogunz to pic related. What accessories/modifications would you recommend for someone interested in home/neighborhood defense?
Sell it and get a Mossberg 590A1 instead.
Enjoy that all your upgrades have been done for you.
Have a scotch.
A flashlight (especially if its for home defense) and a side saddle if you want. A limbsaver recoil pad will do wonders if you're shooting it a lot.
>>32883423
the essentials would be:
1. Extended magazine tube.
2. Side saddle shell holder.
3. New sights (like ghost ring sight)
4. Pistol grip stock
Anyone bought one of the makarovs off classicfirearms new shipment? Are they a decent gun in general? Possibly considering CCing one, anyway makarov thread

Question about this video. Anyone know what kind of holster, light/laser, and pistol is being used? I'm just wondering if there are any holster and light/laser combinations where the strobe and laser automatically come on when the gun is taken out of the holster. I'm not sure if thats what is happening here but that would be a great set up... is anything like that?
>>32883318
I meant: Is there anything like that?
>>32883318
Prop/Costuming got told to make his outfit more intimidating or military... nuff said. Given how they stayed exactly in place they were probably glued on.
>>32883382
Taking about the pic not the video. Next time I'm thru Palestine I'll check their gear out for you.
I was at the doctor earlier and there was a cop sitting across from me in the waiting room. I noticed he was carrying a Glock so I asked him what model it was. He said "Glock 40" and I said "Damn, you carry a 10mm?"
He looked at me like I was an idiot. Was I being autistic or was he being NoGunz?
>>32883233
you could have made him look like an idiot but you only made yourself look like an idiot
>>32883233
Cops can troll. A cop fucking Rick rolled you.
>>32883233
>see stranger carrying
>H...hey bro! W..what gun you carrying?
>get asshurt when the owner doesn't give you the manufacturer SKU
autism.
Why does taller sights and a threaded barrel double the price of an FNX?
I'd really like to get one of these, but the cost of being able to put a suppressor on is ridiculous.
>>32883121
Dirty Belgian trickery.
Your forgetting its also MRDS cut
>>32883140
Oh no, a single extra machining action and a piece of metal to fill in that action, plus different plastic sights and a barely changed barrel design means we have to charge a whole 100% more for that version of the gun.

Oh man, I forgot all about this guy!
I love his laugh, the absolute madman.
>>32883039
Isn't this the guy that shot himself in the head with the 20mm steel ball bering?
>>32883120
his laugh is the best part of any video
So I built an AR for dirt cheap just before the election
>15 inch keymod handguard
>TRS25
>MBUS sights
>magpul stock
Actually not a bad gun for the price, HOWEVER, that is not the point
I built it cheap so that even if Shillary wasn't elected, I could still sell it
I've been offered a PS90 as trade
Now, the guy said "plus cash" but I don't know if he's offering cash or wanting cash because the wording is ambiguous
I assume he wants cash.
Anyway, are there any issues related to the PS90 I should be aware of?
I know a lot about them, but not actual ownership
Marisa, you might be a shitposter, but your help would be appreciated
Oh and whats a fair price for a used PS90?
>tl;dr Learn me on the PS90
>>32882961
>Anyway, are there any issues related to the PS90 I should be aware of?
You'll be seen as a tryhard faglord. Besides that, not really. I've held one once and the amount of plastic on that gun just make it feel kind of cheap to me, but that's only personal preference.
>>32882988
I held it when I was like 16 and it was WAY heavier than I expected.
I actually thought it was pretty solid for being plastic
>>32882988
The PS90 uses some extremely resilient plastic.
>>32883043
They're way heavier than they should be. It's all because it's a direct blowback action so the bolt is xbawkshueg. Also, the receiver uses a ton of steel for no good reason other than making production cheaper. I'm positive it's a super cheap gun for FN to produce.
