Ive heard varying reviews of em. I do know they generally go for about $400, so your not really getting much of a deal.
About the mags, I heard good and bad about them as well. You can try out the standard mags that came with it and if they work, good. If not, just order some wilson combat mags

Good observation, solids make a lot of smoke. So does Kerosene/LOX, not that you'd use that for a missile...
That looks like it's probably burning some hypergolic liquid propellant. Here is a Titan 2 for comparison.
The advantage of these propellants is they are storable (although dangerous).

What body armor and handgun should I get?
I live in a riot-prone area of Ohio and don't know anything about anything. I've fired various rifles a few times and own a SKS and a .22, but do not currently have a handgun. I admit I'm a colossal fucking newfag and probably a stupid one, but I have a home and family I want to protect, so please, lend me a hand.
I can afford to easily drop a few hundred on the armor, and up to $500 on the handgun. I'd like something reliable, range isn't much of a big deal, but if I get new sights for it I'd prefer they be the ones I keep forever.
Please help, you might be saving my kid's life. It's only a matter of time before those Antifa shits come here.
I will post medieval weapons and pictures of armored knights to bump, since that's what I've got pictures of. This polearm was probably meant for crowd control.

I come to you /K/ in a time of uncertainty. Been a gun enthusiast my entire life. Currently in Uni for medical stuff. Recently been looking into building parts kits for assorted guns. Start to like it so much I get the idea of doing something related to it for a career. Should I stop going to Uni for medical stuff and switch to doing something with guns or keep my current path and keep it as a hobby. I come to this board instead of /adv/ since it was gun related.
