what story comes up in to your mind waching this?
also how does it look?
reminds me of the story about the girl who pored gasoline on herself and lit herself on fire jumping out of the window and falling to her certain death.
it looks like a fucking cancerous turd lmfao

don´t be shy...

it reminds me of a time when op wasnt a faggot
First, you pick one of these as your only stronk point:
>Ligameme
>The spark
>Early start (–16 years old)
>Neuroplasticity
>Eidetic memory
>Autistic concentration
>ISPF personality type
You now have this as your own strength, but you will lose access to all of the others forever.
Now pick one to eliminate:
>Aphantasia
>Visual snow
>Poor motor skills
>Late start (20+ years old)
>Kodyboy's type of autism
You now have eliminated this one from your life, but you will suffer from the others.
So tell me, how fucked are you? Will you make it?
>>2838532
I already have autistic concentration and poor motor skills. I am super fucked but I will make it.
why would you ever eliminate visual snow
it's hardly noticable
>>2838532
i pick your mom and your sis
Are Riot splash arts good or just overrated garbage?
Both.
You get fans calling it overrated, but at the end of the day, it's good stuff. They have some of the best professional artists working for them, so it's very high quality. There are probably only a few hundred or so people who pump out work of this caliber.
This is /ic.
Of course it's all shit. Learn your fundamentals and draw it again.
They're essentially very good but /ic/ is caught in an infinite spiral of elitism and is convinced that anything less than Ruan Jia / Jaime Jones / Craig Mullins is shit.
Do you like tumblr noses ?
>>2835860
No, and it's not because "they suck", but because they tend to same face everything with those noses......
>>2835860
it looks like a dog wee wee
>>2835860
even as a frequenter of tumblr, I find these noses to be actual garbage. why the fuck to people draw their characters with clown-like fake looking red-ass noses?
What are the best MtG artists out there? Post your favorite MtG art

Reminds me of an old card that I always liked, Disintegrate. Simple and effective, and probably reminds me of Terminator 2 and pings my nostalgia gland a bit.

Monitoring this thread hard, since I would like to do this one day
For those of you who don't know, "He will not divide us" is an exhibit installed by Shia Labeouf located at the Museum of the Moving Image. It is a 24/7 livestream camera with a microphone and is available to anyone passing by. It has caught the attention of reddit, trump supporters, twitter users and /pol/ and has been raided everyday to the point where they put up a barricade (wall) and have "banned" several people with opposing views of the meaning of the mantra. The mantra being "He will not divide us" is printed in bold, capitalized, Helvetica text above this camera and on the website that the livestream is played it is mentioned that this mantra is to be repeated over and over into the camera in resistance and opposition to president Trumps election. You are allowed to say "whatever you want", but this really isn't the case and they will ban you for shitposting even though they consider drones chanting "he will not divide us" for hours on end and occasionally shitposting themselves to be better for the camera. Now of course their phrasing of this unsaid on their website is what will probably what will keep this installation from being shutdown by this law here:
https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/charitable-organizations/exemption-requirements-section-501-c-3-organizations
which basically states that a tax exempt organization cannot influence or oppose ANY political activity. The most they have been able to do is get people to stand on the sidewalk because it's public property and the mic and camera capture what happens there as well.
Is this art? Yeah I know that anything can be considered art with a deluded enough mindset so I guess what I'm asking for is a critique of this "artpiece". What type of art would this classify as? What would you add/ take away from this installation? If the political component were expunged and the mantra "He Will Not Divide Us" taken down, would that ruin this art piece or make it better?
the fuck is this shit

Alright 2 things have been pondering me:
Can someone be autistic and great at art? (I Only heard Of One Instance Of this)
What are some easy ways to activate the right side of the brain?
How do I stay motivated and not discourage myself from drawing?
>>2837311
>Yes, but it's no respite for being autistic
>That's a myth, your brain doesn't actually function the way you think. You use your whole brain all the time.
>Don't even think about motivation, the minute you feel like you need a reason to do something is the moment you make things difficult for yourself. You just wake up and then do it with no in-between.
Autistics have difficulty relating to others and have a problem with repetition, two things that make "improving (ie constantly changing the way you perform this task) a skill about communicating with others" a bit fucking tricky.
>>2837311
dumb nigger, the best artists are autistic as fuck.
ITT We will discuss which one we think is the best pen for artist, our experiences and recomendations.
>Faber Castell Pitt Pens
Used them years ago and cant remember if they were good or not. I remember a lot of pressure on the nib could make some ink splat. Also the ink is not very helpfull on smooth bristol boards.
>Microns
This are my favorites adn the ones I'm using right now. The in flow is great for little drawings, but there is a frustration when i have to make larger t¿drawings. Also microns are not helpfull in fast strokes.
Uni-ball ub-177 fine deluxe.
The ink is super smooth, will penetrate the paper and stay forever. Best ballpoint ever.
who /fountainpen/ here
the ~COOLEST~ way to draw there is desu.
Have a handful of these and they do all the same work my microns do, plus the ink doesn't bleed with watercolours.
>>2796830
I've got a pilot metropolitan, it's breddy good, I don't use it that often for art though.
>Realize I have no reason to continue to try and recreate reality
>Realize I just want to draw cartoons
>Tried drawing people for a solid year and got pretty far, but just now realized I had no good purpose to do so
>>2839510

You can't draw good cartoons if you can't draw alright looking people
>>2839539
That's completely not true though.
I can already draw alright looking people, but my cartoons are absolute shit. I've started Famous Artist Cartoon Course to remedy this, but I can't agree that successful cartoons aren't an almost totally independent discipline.
Hello anarts. I made these...
Is there anything there worth refining? I don't want to be a huge artist, but i do have a position at my college that could allow for a somewhat dour strip. I don't need to make these for anyone, just wondering if you think it's worth working on. Thank you for your consideration.
second one. I have others, but no photos sadly.
This photo as given is already terrible. as such, this is the dialogue.
>Mother, Father: Why do i feel so sad all the time?
>Don't worry son...
>Some day you won't feel anything at all
it's a doodle you did on your homework lmao
what do you even want people to say
>>2839405
Well, not homework. It's on a napkin from work.
Tried using Microsoft paint to color in this t-shirt design but as you can see, I failed miserably. Is there anyone that could help me out by filling in the empty spots using photoshop?
>>2839414
Your slogan is "give a shit" and you don't keep trying when you fail?
I started painting with Acrylics on canvas a few weeks ago, this is my third painting.
It's not finished yet but any advice from decent painters would be appreciated.
Also any original painting welcome in this thread.

FAQ:
Something's broken, what do I do?
>The original developer of the site has taken a leave for quite a while, originally due to medical reasons. Progress on the site is almost non-existant at this point. You can try contacting him at @LavaFlake or emailing him at [email protected].
What do we draw?
>Whatever you want. At this point there's no required topic so draw your heart out. Make sure you submit at least a half hour of work or you may get a low effort warning.
What's a low effort warning?
>The goal is to get people to draw every day by turning it into a competition. The low effort warning system is to prevent people from posting last minute, quick sketches when they're feeling lazy. If you receive a warning and it happens again within a month you'll be eliminated.
>This rule has been the cause of a lot of concern amongst newer artists so let me reiterate: this system is to police low effort content and has nothing to do with the quality of the work. New artists are more than welcome.
What happens if I'm eliminated?
>Your streak will go back to 0 and you will have to start again. No other penalties.
How can there be a new Last Artist Standing challenge every week?
>There is no week system anymore, instead new users are given "streaks" based on the number of consecutive days you can submit without getting eliminated. (token losses do not reset your streak)
Will I have an advantage if I join later in the week?
>The winner of a Last Artist Standing will be the artist with the longest streak. If you join on day 1 and last until day 85 then you'll have a streak of 85. If there's only one person left in the challenge when you're eliminated but they joined on Day 7 then they'll need to continue on for another week. If they're eliminated before then, you win.

We're all gonna make it.
When I was younger I thought "only good artists use scratchy lines" now I'm 20 and wanting to start working on learning animation but the whole scratchy, hairy line thing that I've been using for years has become counter productive now that I'm trying to go digital. What's a good method to break such a habit without pulling my hair out?
>>2838412
The nice thing about digital art is that you can just do a bunch of layers without having to worry about erasing the shit underneath. Do your scratchy lines, then make another layer and do cleaner lineart. Work in a larger canvas than you need and size down so any imperfections disappear after you resize.
>>2838412
think about out line before you draw it, maybe hover just above the paper/ tablet and when you are ready do it in one strike.
But first, you have to work on your anatomy!
The face is god awful, the feet in the back view are fucked up, the hips/ass are fucked up, and the hair is stiff and unnatural.
As for the lines, just make a linework layer and stroke over chicken-scratch. This part really just takes practice, and you'll hate yourself for a few drawings.
