That's completely not true though.

I can already draw alright looking people, but my cartoons are absolute shit. I've started Famous Artist Cartoon Course to remedy this, but I can't agree that successful cartoons aren't an almost totally independent discipline.

Take a minute to look at Proko.
Look where his mastery of the human figure from imagination has landed him when it comes to creating cartoons. He's fucking horrible. Kids that rip cartoon network shows daily draw better cartoons than him.
