Looks like our old friend Simon not only is a pedophile but has a cucking fetish.

I don't have any friend called Simon.

Is this real? This is a children's show isn't it? That's gotta be a canceled episode.
It's fine if the girl's getting cucked.
Hey /ic/, I was just wondering, what is the best way to learn how to draw aesthetic figures? How long would it take me to learn how to draw like the three greats?
Any tips or advice?
Learn what's aesthetic.
Depends on how much effort you're willing to put in.
Why is everyone on here obsessed with figure drawing? I've noticed that a lot of artists know how to draw humans only and not much else. What's the point of spending so much time learning obscure muscle groups etc to draw super realistic figures from imagination (when references exist), instead of spending that time learning other things that might make you a more creative, capable artist? Of course, I'm not saying figure drawing is useless, but people seem too much time into it. I personally don't want to be that guy who's only good at drawing figures in lewd poses on a white background in photoshop off his imagination.
People are the most important subject to us, because we are very social beings and want to see / listen to / engage with other people constantly.
Also, people are the most difficult subject, not inherently but because we know people very well and thus see any tiny errors (such we wouldn´t spot in animal pictures, for example.
>>2834557
This. Because other human beings are the most familiar things in our lives, figure drawing is basically an exercise in honing your observational skills.
Figure Drawing essentially teaches you to see forms at a basic and primitive level. Of course this can be practice through any other subject matter, but the human figure is complex and offers a challenge. I can say the same for an animal but people are just more common and are in a lot of art in general
How will you use your artistic abilities when they become good enough? Porn, probaganda or just a hobby?
Propaganda porn
I fantasize about using kawaii imagery to propagate kindness and to teach people about the failure of our current capitalist system.

critics?
Hey everyone I'm pretty new at this and have only been drawing about a month if you guys could please give me some tips that would be great
Bump
it's very nice
the next step would be to draw on a more lightly toned paper or white paper. that is more challenging.
i see that the light is coming from the upper right, but its hard to tell from the shadows. if you clarify the form of shadows it would help.
play with the lighting so direction of light and shadows is more obvious and add to the tension and movement in the composition.

Drawing with grids will hinder your progress as an artist - you're not learning as much as you would by making your work normal way.
Making a photo of your work at an angle makes you look like a retard - perspective is distorting your work.

It's like looking into a time machine and seeing my drawings from the past. Kek. Dude, you should follow Vilppu's guide, I learned form from it and then drill those forms all the time and then look up Jeff Watts or Steve Huston, good luck.
Why can't the japs draw male faces right? The lines are too thick, the curves on the eyes, cheek, jaws, and nose are far too sharp, the hair looks shitty, the lips and chin are wrong, there's always something wrong with anime males. Compared to their beautifully stylized female counterparts, male characters in anime are always ugly. What the fuck is their problem?
They aren't always ugly. Plus it gets tiresome to draw pretty faces all the time, sometimes you just wanna draw ugly shit.
>>2824000
But those are ugly. They bear the exact problems that I addressed before. They failed to capture the essence of real men.
>>2824006
Can you give examples of beautifully drawn male characters that aren't realistic?
I don't paint not as much as I use to

How to draw by Scott Robertson
How many of you want to be successful artists out of spite?
Whether that be to show someone that you COULD do it, even though they said you couldn't, or to show up someone who grew up to have a boring job, or something similar?
Personally I've got a small handful.
Its very motivating.

i just want to draw my mango girls
Yea, a part of me wants to prove to my family and friends that I did better choice in life than them. I want to make them regret their condescending behavior towards me as an artist. But for now my life is just starving and crying. Thankfully it's just a phase and sooner or later i'll make it.

I want people to pay me for drawing them shit and have a happy family.
