Why does the American Midwest have a culture that values a strong work ethic, low taxes, small government, and personal responsibility, while the rest of the country wants a bloated, inefficient government and to live off welfare?
Less jews, maybe?
Because they don't have anyone to call them out on federal grain and cattle subsidies i guess

>american midwest
>implying they come even close to the economic productivity the rest of the "welfare loving" country reaches
>called flyover states for a reason
If you start a bait thread maybe choose a somewhat more realistic bait.
Also what >>1832797 said about the agriculture subsidies.

Who do boddhisattvas make their vows to? There's no God in buddhism to listen to them, or hold them accountable and regulate the consequences.
They're just talking to themselves basically, how could their vows restrict them from enlightenment and allow them to be reborn without experiencing retrogression to lower-realms? And how can they help other beings to attain enlightenment if they themselves aren't even enlightened.
Mahayana is a failure.
Because Mahayana is dumb)
What's your favourite thing (operation, equipment, action, anything) from warfare that took a lot of ingenuity to pull off? Mine has to be this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mincemeat
>Operation Mincemeat was a successful British disinformation plan during the Second World War. As part of Operation Barclay, the widespread deception intended to cover the invasion of Italy from North Africa, Mincemeat helped to convince the German high command that the Allies planned to invade Greece and Sardinia in 1943 instead of Sicily, the actual objective. This was accomplished by persuading the Germans that they had, by accident, intercepted "top secret" documents giving details of Allied war plans. The documents were attached to a corpse deliberately left to wash up on a beach in Punta UmbrÃa in Spain.[1] The success of the planting of false documents was confirmed through Ultra decrypts of German messages.
So, believing this, the Germans moved much of their forces in Sicily to Greece, where an invasion never came. The dead "Major Martin" was even made to look believably incompetent by planting an out-of-date pass on him. Not only did the German high command fall for it, Hitler fell for it, as a result they even distrusted genuinely misplaced plans for D-Day and Operation Market Garden, believing them also to be disinformation like Operation Mincemeat.
Anyway, please post more like this.
Pretty much ineffective, but it was still an impressive feat to conduct a 6800nm bombing raid over open ocean with no forward positioned refuellers.

no others?
The Federal line, initially bolstered by the infantry, briefly seized the momentum and attacked the Confederate left flank, but Major-General Forrest launched an attack from his extreme right and left wings, before the rest of the Federal infantry could take the field. In this phase of the battle, Forrest commanded his field artillery to unlimber, unprotected, only yards from the Federal line, and to shred their troops with canister (Which in effect turns an artillery piece into a giant shotgun.)
What are some weird historical potrayals of/stories involving dick of dick throughout history?
Bonus points if it involves feminine dick.

They weren't canoes and they weren't tiny.

Pretty much explains it
Are single-mothers the most dangerous thing to a young male or is it more apt that the father leave the child at a young age to allow their own development?
Shut the fuck up
>>1831971
I am not meming, I am genuinely concerned.
>Are single-mothers the most dangerous thing to a young male
yes
Would quantum immortality protect you from degenerative diseases like dementia or late stage AIDS?
Also, how would it account for extremely old ages? Does a scientist just suddenly invent a surgical procedure that makes you biologically immortal once you reach your 120th birthday in perfect health?
>>1831828
I have an alternative theory. The universe branches into all possible outcomes. If the outcome isn't possible, the universe doesn't branch. One could easily say quantum godhood breaking the laws of physics spontaneous big bang every time you think about it.
Quantum immortality is just a meme. The particles that make up your brain will continue on in the universe whether you live or die, just in a different form, so there is no physical reason why your sapience should be preserved.

Norse/Germanic tatoos. What where they like?

Probably with blue color using tree ash as ink.

Yes they were probably blue, note the forearm in pic related.

Did Vikings actually have those metal mesh things? I thought that was a medical thing
Also how did they afford helmets and shit. I thought they were barbarians.
>>1831566
Do you mean the splint shinguards? Yeah, they were very popular during the migration period and sort of snowballed from there.
>Also how did they afford helmets and shit. I thought they were barbarians.
A helmet is the one piece of armor that everyone on a battlefield before 1650 is going to have. Your head is the part of your body that you'd least want to get hit, so if you're going to protect anything, protect your head. And a helmet wouldn't be that expensive, very cheap and easy to make and repair.
Who were the good guys in the Thirty Years' War?

Tough question. On one hand, I want to say the Emperor, because fuck Protniggers. On the other, an Imperial victory would mean a more centralized HRE, which would empower the Eternal Kraut. So I really don't know.
