When did Europeans start considering Americans are non-European?

Additionally, why do Europeans get mad when Americans talk of their ancestry? I like I understand that I am American NOT Polish. But I come from a line of Polish people that came to America. That being said, because America is devoid of culture not infested with capitalism or protestantism, I do seek some identification with Polish culture. I try to learn as much as I can about your history and culture, why can't you let me own some of it by right of blood?

Because you're an American now.

Back then before being assimilated into "White society". Poles, Irish, and other ethnic groups used to be more like their home countries, they had small enclaves where they kept their own culture, which how the Americans got the little italys and chinatowns. After WWII the government began to break and assimilate the White ethnics, especially the Catholic ones which were seen to not have loyalty with America but with the Pope, that's also the reason why there are American flags inside Churches to show their loyalty to their adopted country. Interesting is that when these ethnic neighborhoods were broken up the communities would just resettle in another area, and they used blacks to break up these little communities by moving black families in, and these White ethnics are very racist, even to other white ethnics of different ethnicities, kind of like how asians hate other asians of a different ethnicity. Anyway they did it by blockbusting, usually quakers did the blocbusting, and after a while of doing so some moved to the suburbs where they got integrated to white society, another interesting note is that they didn't consider themselves as white, but rather as latvians, poles, or italians or such.

During the Colonial period, being born in the New World placed one at a lower social position than one born in the home country. Even if they were pure-blooded, creoles were below native Spaniards/Portuguese, and colonials were below native Britons.
So, since the very beginning.

Been a while since the last one so here it is. Post what you want as long as its on topic.

Aztec military equipment was varied depending upon the situation, but many of the poor levied troops probably fought in a simple loin cloth with a spear. Others who participated in war by choice and/or demonstrated skill wore padded cotton vests which closely resembled Old World gambesons.

The spears were multi use in that they could be swung and thrusted, as the wooden head was fitted with several (literally) razor-sharp obsidian blades. This made it more like a two sided glaive or a halberd, but the distinction is up to you.

Padded cloth and packed cotton are easy to underestimate as armor, but they're actually extremely protective. A test on a TV show (just use keywords in youtube its not hard to find) demonstrates how a padded linen cuiress stopped a 140 lb english warbow with a bodkin point.

The weapons the Aztecs faced were all either blunt, or lined with fragile obsidian blades, meaning that less protection was required. Wooden helmets protected veteran soldiers, as well as full body suits of thick cloth. Although more protective, intricate battle attire was reserved for those who demonstrated skill, some levied troops may have been issued padded armor, but this is still unclear.

Plus, it's hot as shit in Mexico. Especially when they began conducting campaigns in the jungles like in Xoconochco. Lighter armor = more comfort.

Does anyone still hold any regard to his previous career as a socialist?
>>
>>1823017
It wasn't really that he lost the socialist values of his youth, at least from my understanding, he just got caught up in the intellectual movements of his time.

Whats sadder is how he died. He just wanted to retire after his arrest, but Hitler threatened to start massacring people if he didn't play the role of his bitch, then his own people, the ones he was protecting, shot him dead for being Hitler's bitch.

What were some of the greatest betrayals?

This plus the balfour declaration combined are pretty good

Prussian betrayal of Poland in 1655. A duchy created by Poland out of mercy to Teutons' last grand master. Rulers were Polish senators and were given a free rein how to rule their duchy. Later on, Poland propped it up several times, even refusing to kick the Hohenzolern dukes out when their other dominions are occupied by Sweden in the Thirty Years' War.

When Poland got invaded by Sweden, the duke switches sides and joins Sweden laying foundation to the Prussia that so many autists love that much.

Of course he is, but so do most historians, at least whenever you try to prove something you are pushing an agenda.
>>

i've watched a lot of his stuff and he is pretty biased but he's pretty upfront about that. Also he many times admits that his videos aren't really meant for anyone above a highschool education.

Honestly the worst thing about him is he's got pretty indefensible opinions and he glosses over his inability to support them by making jokes, while at the same time shitting on other people's opinions about history while basically just saying they are wrong because I say so.

He's got a pretty good amount of SJW in his videos but honestly I don't mind seeing that perspective of history, it's incorrect in a lot of ways but isn't without some value.

How were these many different borders in pic related enforced, or were they? Would there be a wall/guards at the border between, say, Saxony and Brandenburg or would one be ablebto pass freely between the many political entities of the Holy Roman Empire?
