I recently came across a full set of lecturers from a photographer that was aimed at people with no experience as well as projects and assignments to expand your skills.
I was curious if there is an equivalent for this for someone interested in learning more about design/graphic design?
Can someone explain to me how the scrolling effect was done on this site? I have zero knowledge in this sort of thing, obviously.
I need a program that can do this, designing gradients with bezier curves
Pricing and Budgeting General Thread
Just got off the phone with an Agency that, when I asked for a rough idea of their project budget, told me "that's not how agencies work". I've worked for agencies before that haven't had a problem telling me what their client is looking for, price-wise. Is this really common, or a common way of getting artists to undercharge for the work?
I know all the basics of photoshop but I'm looking for some tutorials on making layered album art.
<---Something along the lines of this
doesn't seem that difficult just search for stuff like double exposure tutorials, color range selection + enhance selection (for isolating shapes like the hand, the smoke etc)
Somebody knows this piece of art, I just can't find any trace of this design on the internet.
General 3D art thread, share your 3D art, get
feedback, give feedback, show your WIP, ask
for help and heck, feel free to share your socials
to inspire others/broaden your network.
Be nice, have a great time :)
I don't know if this is the right board since I don't see a lot of digital stuff on /ic/ but anyway, I want to start drawing digitally, but I don't know what software to use, which one is the best/most complete? My options are Krita, Medibang, SAI and GIMP. Maybe other one's that are like these. Photoshop isn't an option at the moment, even pirated, it's too much for my laptop.
the two that most people use are
Clip Studio Paint:and Photoshop CC
but SAI, Corel and Krita are also good, and i don't know what you're talking about i used to use a photoshop cs4 on my old laptop with 2 gb of ram and 512mb of graphics card/chipset and it runned actually fast.
I like Mischief. Its honestly not superb or anything but does what it should.
Also it has an unlimited canvas.
There's a free version which is good enough but the paid seems like a slight rip off honestly.
Medibang is perfect for a photoshop replacement.
Finally, all I wanna say is honestly any of the software you mentioned is perfect for your needs but its all about what you create that matters. Don't get stuck up on the software side and end up ignoring what actually matters.
i want to build one of these, i dont want to buy it, somebody have the plans or something
I want to learn to draw and to use Illustrator properly
Where do i start?
What are good webs with good tutorials?
i need to create a stylized symbol of allergy like the symbols of pic related, i was thinking in using microscopic pollen but it must to be understandable for all people possible just by looking.
