>OP will never learn how to take a screenshot.
>>
>>56254940
Hey that is harder then it sounds.
It nearly drove me insane.

I tried to use the screen capture key but the keyboard doesn't have it. Try command key combo, only to find that one of the keys is not on my keyboard. Try screen capture program, but it doesn't support the right capture mode, so moving the mouse to start the program makes the image I want to capture disappear. Try to build secondary launching program to work around it, but the system maps the keys wrong. Go get my second keyboard, but find it lacks a support driver. Try a number of other things, but nothing works. Eventually solder parts and write simple driver for a single button screen capture keyboard, which involved me learning command line and some assembly. And after all that I can now take screen shots.

I'd go for the Z3. Better battery life, rom support, and waterproof and such. Also, I've heard things about the G3, like bad battery life.
>>
>>56254988
I forgot the mention the overheating piece of garbage that is the M9. Go for the Z3.

Any Windows admins out there who are very proficient with Powershell? I am very interested in Powershell and am wondering where to start. I love the idea of writing my own scripts and learning everything about the Windows Shell.
9 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Also would it be worth it to learn C++ or .NET to help learn powershell and become a better admin/script writer?
>>
>>56254850
Powershell is almost literally .NET in shell form. You can even load .NET dlls into a Powershell script and leverage its objects/functions directly. So if you care about Powershell, you will want to care about .NET for sure.

The real question is, why the fuck bother with Powershell? Every instance I've seen of someone using Powershell is either to prototype some kind of workflow or used as a stopgap for a more permanent solution later. If you want to go the .NET route, just learn C# and make C# applications, don't bother with Powershell.

I fell for the 3.5 meme lads. After debating if I should shell out 350€ for a 480/1060, I ended up grabbing my cousin's old 970 for 200€. Was still a win/win though, I got an huge boost from my previous 280x, as most of what I play favors nvidia designs, and he got the leverage to upgrade to a 1070.

Is anyone else in that wild and naive phase where they believe everything can and should be written entirely in C?

Because I am, and I don't want it to end!

Ok /g/, i bought almost a year ago a 16GB iPhone 6, and now 16GB looks like shit. Last year it was cool, all my pictures and music were just fine, i had a few apps, the most important, and it worked perfectly. Now, with all my photos in the iCloud Photo Library, no offline music because of Apple Music, and the same few apps, i run almost every month out of space and i need to erase everything.

How do you /g/ manage your 16GB iPhone in 2016? I can't believe i run out of space just with a few apps.

Nobody has an iPhone and definitely nobody has a phone with 16gb unexpandable storage. I've had 64gb Oneplus One (base model) since 2013 and I'm getting a zte axon 7 soon with 64gb base and a 128 GB SD card is going in with it.
>>
>>56254678

You want the status of an iPhone but your too cheap to buy the real model. The 16GB model just exists to make people cough up for the 64GB model.

I have a 16GB Mi4 I got for free and I got the fucking shits with the tiny space. Now I have a 64GB iPhone SE and I wish it had an SD card just for convenience.

daily reminder /g/, if you:

- Don't block ads
- Post Nvidia vs AMD and say "nvidiot" and "ayymnd".
- Spend 5 hours a day changing colour schemes for approval on /wg/
- Think arch is for ""advanced"" users and is more minimal than debian minimal netinstall.
- Think python is "robust"
- Don't know at least the basics of the coreutils and util-linux
- Don't have a custom keyboard layout,
protip: on loonix you can make it so when you press left shift (or right shift if you configure it), you can rebind keys to different ones, but only on that shift state , for example i have it so left shit + hjkl will actually move the arrow keys, this allows me to never have to leave to home row.

here is an example: http://hastebin.com/wunebirena.xml

- Type below 70WPM.
- Think systemd is perfect
- Think sysvinit is perfect

Google keyboard.

You can't possibly complain about botnet when you're already using fucking Android.

I switched to an iPhone recently and I wish their retarded google keyboard was as nice as the Android one. Swiftkey can suck my dick. Frequently wrong.
>>
>>56255005
Going from type to Swype has an annoying delay when I use it.

Also lacks the predictive features I want

>>56255028
It's not the botnet, it's all the shitty addons you're forced to put up with like some battery saving app that doesn't do shit or an app locker.
