Depending on the operation he is right. Insertions/deletions are O(1) on linked lists, O(n) on arrays (except for trivial cases like inserting/deleting at the end of an array, as long as no reallocation is required).

Other than that arrays are superior in every aspect: random access, obviously (O(n) for linked lists, O(1) for arrays) and even sequential access (cache locality and whatnot). You only get bitten in the ass if reallocation happens, really.

Fuck off. OOP has set this industry back 20 years by being inherently anti-modular and anti-parallel.

Encrypt it and print it at your local library or some shit. Having your own printer is rarely useful.

Transplanting a uterus into some bishie dude?

How does /g/ feel about The Wolf?

As far as I can tell its just another graphics enclosure, I can't tell what separates it from any other enclosure.

They even include in the FAQ that you can swap out the GTX 950/970 for your own graphics card.

A kickstarter for something that already exists, around the same price point too I think

How long until there are kickstarters pledging to make more stupid kickstarters?

I'm trying to decide between getting an Ultrabook or a tablet (with a keyboard attachment) for college
What do you guys think?

Tablet if the keyboard is any good. Used business laptop if you're a poorfag.
>>

I had a HP x2 620 for a while, loved the shit out of the fact it had a battery in the tablet and the base.

I would suggest tablet with keys if you can find one with a battery in the keyboard dock.
>>
Bought an asus hybrid 2 months ago.
I Nevers use it as a tablet.
My advice : take an ultrabook. More freedom in the choice of the os, programs...

GENTOO IS THE FASTEST DISTRO: EVIDENCE IN LINK

Check out this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/3lq8ys/a_personal_case_comparison_of_system_resources_on/

My first sentence is hopefully clickbaity enough to get you faggots in here talking. I really don't want this to turn into a distro flame war. Gentoo isn't for everyone. *However* the post does show some pretty convincing proof that if you utilize Portage to strip down features you don't need there are tangible performance benefits. So those of you who just blatantly spout "gentoo maybe gives you .5% more performances at most and isn't noticable ever" you're kind of wrong.

So let's talk about what we can strip down. The OP of that post has stripped consolekit, polkit, acl, and udisks from his system. Does the average, single-user computer need those? What other bloat do you remove? I'm curious to see how thick, solid, and tight I can get my OS. In my use flags I have -bluetooth -ipv6 -qt5 -qt4 -gtk -upower -sqlite -handbook

>RAM usage

Really?
Unused RAM is wasted RAM.
>>
>>56260344
it also discusses boot times as well.

but i would argue that a big chunk of linux users switched to linux because of not being able to control their OS on Windows, like not being able to easily uninstall some pre-installed bloat taking up disk space and ram. Switching from a different distro to Gentoo gives you that feeling all over again, of being in control of what is running on your system.
>>
Now show me some useful numbers such as browser benchmarking. Can I shitpost faster with Gentoo?
