>this is my current graphic driver
what can I install for it to allow for GPU performance in Adobe illustrator CC 2015?
I don't have money to straight up replace it on my laptop...
Without money you can't do shit, you need hardware.
>>56259517
how much money anon
I can't earn any decent money without working in Illustrator
am I trapped in a loop?
and what would you even advise?
>I can't earn any decent money without working in Illustrator
You realise you have to be 18 to post on this site, right?
Greetings.
I'll cut right to the chase. I'm going to build a modern Macintosh using the G4 Cube.
I'm planning on using a processor with an integrated graphics card, but I'm having a hard time finding one that doesn't include the HD 4000
I'm hoping to get something more powerful than that, as I plan on actually using my Cube as a full blooded Mac.
Any suggestions?
Also, Mac general thread

Macs suck
>>56259335
Get any of the intel iris graphics cpu's
>>56259335
I have no idea of what the internal dimensions of a G4 Cube would be. Would a NUC board fit? They sell them with Iris Pro graphics.

So now that whatsapp have stopped pretending they are independent and will give my phone number to the immortan jew as well as show me ads what messaging app can I use now?
Also, americans I know you don't use whatsapp anyway so what is it you use besides iMessage?
So sad, next year it'll just merge with messenger and shit'll be truly dead.

What good options are there for children's tablets these days? I've got a 3 y/o running around who could definitely benefit from one.
I'd rather not get him something that's completely locked-down. So being an android tablet that just comes with child-friendly stuff is better than being stuck with an old leapfrog tablet or some shit where they screw you on application costs and that he'll grow out of quickly.
Your input would be very much appreciated.
>Getting your kids tablets
kys, get him to play outsides or something

Once he turns 4, he'll be old enough to enroll him in sports.
We're thinking Karate or Judo.

Hi /g/ i got a short question for you. Is it too late to buy PS3? I don't have budget for PS4 and I never played any PS3 games except GTA IV-V. So what do you think? Do you think I regret if I buy a PS3?
>>56259224
Yes, don't. A new Xbox and PS4 are scheduled for a few months from now. They are supposedly cheaper.
Also, do you know what saving is?
Considering a lot if PS3 games got remastered with all DLC included and a better framerate I'd get a PS4 unless there are exclusives you want to play.
eh, not really. considering all the games on disc you can buy you will have shit to play for years. im only gonna replace mine for the games i have on my hdd. as for current gen im leaning towards a xboner so i can play based 360 classics(assuming theyre compatible.)
How hard would it be to teach yourself programming? I want to teach myself so I can get a related job
>>56259150
Easy in literally any language if you actually care to understand what you are doing
>>56259150
It's not that hard if you practice a lot and not copy/paste code you find online.
There is no way you can get a programming job being self taught. I have a bachelors in CS and I can't even get a job. I dun goofed by not getting an internship and now I might have to get a masters degree just to get an entry level job.

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).

If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

Get rid of this!
Dock guys here. So, I was thinking about getting a dock but am worried about the position of the fan. The thing on the left side of the dock seems to be blocking ventilation.
So I have 24 of these little fuckers laying around and pretty much unlimited cables/power/internet. What do /g/?

when i google "buy windows 10 oem pro key" I get tons of sponsored and top first page results selling keys for under 30 US dollars
is this legal, are the keys legit, google normally filters out that much spam so some must have some legitimacy
what's the story?

jesus christ why is programming so hard. Not only I have to write the program but I have the write pseudocode also
im this close to dropping out lads
>>56258904
Trust me, it sounds chinese right now. But in 6 month, you won't understand what was so hard about it. I was like you.
Keep practising, outside of class too.
In my own experience, the lab teachers sucked at teaching things properly, so don't hesitate to find other resources online that could explain concepts differently.
>>56258904
Find motivation to build discipline so you can study regularly. Then you'll get better in due time. You can do it, anon-kun!
Don't fucking quit.
How? When you think you want to quit, don't, and instead, continue programming.
Visit your professors office hours, we had a more dedicated lab tutorials guy that helped as well. I'm sure your school has some sort of tutoring system in place if you can't learn as well by yourself via online resources.

Not as big a deal for the ear pads which are often replaceable.
But for the headband it can be a major nuisance, just wrap the headband with some thin black cloth or something and stitch it in.
these are fucking bullshit man.
