If that was the real iPhone 7, i would actually be one of those faggots who waits outside the applel store 3am in the morning

Yeah that pic is retarded though. Just another "concept" by designers with no engineering background.
>>56262156
>button in the center of the screen
Who's the fucking retard who thought this concept?
I dont know what linux distro i should use for my laptop
what i'll be doing mainly using a virtual environment for my I.T. class and doing homework online
>>56262154
Well obviously you're not doing anything important and seems like you've got plenty of time to spend on linux so you should go for gentoo or arch.
Avoid anything below that as you will gain nothing in terms of understanding.
>>56262154
Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora are good ones for beginners.
Install Gentoo
This is what you call an "end-game" mouse. Logitech said pre-orders should start shipping by the end of this month.
>God-tier shape
>God-tier sensor and implementation
>God-tier mouse buttons
>still has side buttons
Pure cancer.
>>56262191
not OP but fuck you.
g400s with side buttons and its great.
This is the 3rd thread in 3 days you've created about this mouse.
Fuck off shill.
I'm on my grandmother's laptop, that I installed Ubuntu on to prevent her from getting e-swindled.
I noticed a lot of visits to a website "http://error-3381720.xyz/AND_A_SHITLOAD_OF_NUMBERS" with the title in her history as "Security Error!", but when I clicked on it it said "404 Not Found" with a page giving an Ubuntu-related error message, which made sense to me since I populated her /etc/hosts file, but then I checked the site on archive.is, and I saw the same error message, which might make sense if archive.is has it's servers running Ubuntu, but I think those numbers have something personally identifying in them and that they're supposed to give you a specific error message based on your OS.
What should I do going forward? I plan to reinstall her Operating System. If I back up her ~/.mozilla/ folder I should still have all the history to investigate right?
>>56262095
You should do a full "zip -r home.zip ." and reinstall the entire operating system.
>>56262095
you can't be this retarded...
>>56263583
Please point to the part of my post you think of as retarded.
>inb4 lel the whole thing.

Why can't I think like a computer scientist? When it comes to programming assignments, I'm able to do them, when given the stuff I need to work with. However, if I'm not and I'm just told to "create x" I don't know how I'd go about doing it. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
Read these in roughly this order
>The Little Schemer
>The Seasoned Schemer
>Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs
>Introduction to Algorithms
>The Art of Computer Programming
maybe gang of four at this point
>>56262050
Oh and you should probably follow those up with The Architecture of Open Source Applications to get into more real world stuff. Especially after you're familiar with design patterns from GoF

Will check these out, thanks!
>It's OK for me to steal this meat, I wasn't going to pay for it anyway.
It's almost the weekend which you'll spend torrenting software and games. Yet no one has ever been able to figure out how to justify that it isn't literally exactly the same as stealing.
Copyright infringement is stealing. Even the GPL wouldn't be possible without copyright. Free Software is protected by the same ideas as everything else. You're a hypocrite if you think companies should respect the GPL but you don't have to respect copyright on other works.
Yeah? What are you gonna do about it?
Piracy != stealing;

oh yeah you're right I'm killing self now :D
Anyone here ham radio enthusiasts? Answer me some questions
>why is it fun
>isn't it totally expensive?
>why?
just seems like an expensive hobby for talking to truckers. Seems dumb, but I find the idea compelling for some reason. Seems neat.
>>56261945
Bump for interest
>>56261945
>wanna get into ham radio
>only to listen to numbers stations, background noise and static
what are my options?
>>56263811
Your options are numbers stations, background noise and static.
Now that Linux and Haskell are becoming mainstream, what's your next operating system and programming language going to be?
>mainstream
Nobody but edgy teenagers cares.
OpenBSD can't play WoW, so I'm sticking with Linux.

Wow is on linux?
The botnet strikes back

Google has been doing the same thing with ads and search results for ages.

Clean Master is botnet, also 360, DU, etc.
What is /g/ approved cleaner (storage, RAM) for Android?
>>56261880
SD Maid
CCleaner and SD maid.
>needing a cleaner
I got a new GTX 1070 and I was looking to upgrade to a better monitor. What is /g/'s opinion on the Dell S2716DG? I saw it on sale at BestBuy for $450 and I can't decide if I should get that or the Acer XB240H. Initially I was going to buy a cheaper 24" 144hz TN panel now and get a nice 1440P IPS Panel around Black Friday. Should I pull the trigger on this 1440p Gsync TN panel or get a cheap 144hz TN and get a nicer 1440p IPS later?
>TN
Never, ever.
>>56261844
so it's a bad idea to get this Dell? ANy info if the Acer XB240H is good? BestBuy got it for $300 right now
Its a 144hz gsync dell gaming monitor the only bad thing is the price.
Its a badass monitor.
Hey, does anyone know of some script / software that can archive an entire forum?
I have a feeling that a very old, super niched forum is going to close down without notice. The information there is invaluable to me.
It's a phpbb forum if that helps
Just use a scraper
https://github.com/indigolemon/phpBB-Scraper
>>56261875
so that's what that is called, thanks.

It is sad, because I want to actually debate you on the stupid bullshit you are putting forward, but then i remember that you are just baiting, so I decide to sigh and sage instead.
