I just found a working Dell Latitude E4310 laptop in my deceased grandmas houuse and just chatged it. I dont know the log on name and password. First person to help me get it set up so i can use it on the internet gets $100 paypal. Can someonw please help me?

They're saying the pirate bay is the next to go. KAT was my #1 and without TPB I've got nowhere to go. Where do you guys go for your torrents? What site will be the next to rise? Or will some new method of file sharing rise to prominence? What is there even? Newsgroups? Fucking DC++? Fuck.

Pascal is basically a beefed up shrink of Maxwell. If I spend my shekels on a 1070 or a 1080 now - will i have to spend another $600 on a Volta when it comes out in a year?

A week ago my 13 in. i5 macbook pro (2011) had the hard drive completely fail. Luckily i had backed up a few days prior.

I've installed a 500 gb ssd in the old HDD's place and it's been the greatest investment i've made in a long time and for cheap as fuck.(150$)

Speeds are up immensely whereas before the computer struggled to open programs like Word for sometimes up to a minute. It feels much fresher and even faster than it was out of the box.

I would suggest this upgrade to everyone.

Anyone have similar success stories revitalising old tech?

Hey,

I've never been to this board before, but I figured why not.

I've got a weird and recent problem. A year ago or so, I realized that on my wireless router, certain websites (Paranatural, Imgur, Whomp, my work scheduling page, other random things) cause my router to stop working when I connect to them wirelessly. Doesn't matter the device, phone, tablet, computer, whatever. If I open them, inevitably the internet will stop working through the wifi. I had a second router that didn't cause this problem, but lost it in an accident.

Plugging in to the modem doesn't cause it. Plugging directly in to the router doesn't cause it. But if I'm on wifi and I try to go to Imgur, it will start moving slowly, then not at all, requiring a hard reboot.

I'm going to get a new router soon, anyway, and this isn't life-or-death. Honestly, I'm just curious what on earth could be causing this. Figured I'd come over here and see if anyone has any ides.

Alright /g/entoomen, yesterday there was a thread for a twitterbot that was being made in python and i have yet to see a post about it since... The idea was to get posts that arent replying to anybody in /pol/ and tweet them to random celebrities. I got the program to get posts without replies from /pol/ and post them. Should i go through with it /g/?

How difficult is it to manufacture a laptop and sell it online? Maybe through kickstarter then an independent website?

What I'm thinking of making:
>Intel atom processor,
z8300 or newer
>4GB ram
>13.3 inch 1600x900, or 1920x1080 resolution
>64GB eMMC memory, one sata port for expanding that, and a micro sd slot
>65 watt-hour battery

What does /g/ think?

If you want to suggest any changes, please bear in mind that I'm hoping to keep the price down and sell it as a budget machine.
