But in all seriousness, start with a learning language like Turing or Python.
Do not go at it directly with shit like C# and Javascript or C++.
Pick something easy, understand how programs work, how they are arranged and built up from the start, and THEN you should go an learn an actual useful language.
Once you master a language like Turing, go on to Python, then Java, then C++.
does anyone else have an irrational fear that one of the fans on their computer will go out while they're using it
i've no joke had literal nightmares (as in, bad dreams while i'm sleeping) about it.
my pc has a window so i check the cpu fan every once in a while just to make sure
it all began when the first time i turned on my pc the cpu fan didn't spin. then i found out it was just a wire in the way, but it still traumatised me
Yep, me too, motherboards don't turn off when they get too hot. They will just keep going and cause a fire. Fuck off thanks
Your CPU has built-in failsafes that will cause it to instantly shut down once heat exceeds a set temperature.
This process will not do any damage to your CPU. You could take off your cooler and turn your computer on and it would quickly overheat and shut itself off.
Literal (as in, actual) nightmares (as in, bad dreams) when you're sleeping? Holy crap op (as in, original poster) maybe you should go outside (as in, not inside a building) once in awhile
Can you reverse-reverse-engineer?
>>62374997
yes. It's called compiling the shit you decompiled.
It's super fucking easy.
i once installed a precracked version of ms office or some shit.
feelsgood

Why didn't he make a LLVM backend?

Someone else made it 10 years ago and he modified it to work with the latest gcc
So my parents computer recently bit the dust. Was an amd x3 processor with what ever motherboard supports said processor. The graphics was on board which is what went out. Anyway my dad wants a new computer, doesn't want a mid tower anymore, wants a micro ATX. He is looking to spend about $500 while keeping his hdd. So the question I have for you is, what would be a good micro ATX motherboard/processor combo to look into? I was thinking of an amd apu build, but I haven't built a computer in over 5 years, so I'm not sure what's the best value. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
>>62373763
ignore anything below A10. They're shit. Also ignore your dad and get a new HDD. it may work now but if it's as old as the rest of the dead PC it will die soon. You can copy his stuff into the new one.
>>62373763
The AMD APUs are good for the price-performance that they offer. Go for an A8 or an A10. And a new HDD, just copy the things on the old HDD or clone it
Why does /g/ consider Java a Pajeet tier language?

The only shitty thing is the sidebar is kind of awkward and useless (although the curved edges look nice) and apparently the screen scratches/cracks easily, but mine hasn't yet

>you can write anything in C!
stdargs.h and by extension, stdio.h cannot be implemented using any version of the C standard, stdargs.h is a set of macros that that calls several compiler built-in functions, like __builtin_va_arg() in order to implement functions that take an arbitrary number of arguments, such as printf.
>>62372840
and what do you think the compiler and it's builtin functions come from?
furthermore when one says you can write anything in C usually it's just another way of saying it's turing complete
>>62372840
stdarg.h is part of the C language
Has Firefox been slow as shit booting for anyone else recently? Since I assume the last update it's been taking up to 8 seconds boot, compared to under a second for Chromium. I even cleared my cache and cookies bu it didn't help. I'll be using Pale Moon until Mozilla fixes their shit but does anyone know what's up?
