Hey /fit/ newb here wanting advise.

My little sister finally agreed to start coming to the gym with me. It's probably some NYR spur of the moment shit but I'm willing to humor her.

She's 17 years old and a femlet at 5'3," somewhere between skinnyfat and chubbyfat.

Should I put her on Smolov or maybe write up some kind of GVT-based routine for her?

Tell her to read the sticky (srs), it'll debunk a lot of myths that she probably believes.

Also, SS is a great beginner routine regardless of gender, I'd recommend she follows it for atleast 6 months, maybe swap the powercleans with barbell rows as she's probably just gonna fuck herself up otherwise. Also, make sure to add pull-ups and dips.

I've been lifting for several years now and never used gloves or wraps.

It's at the stage now where the soreness of my callouses is so bad that I stop some sets before completion, and I'm holding the bar/weight on my finger tips rather my hands.

So, what does /fit use, and why do you prefer them over the other?

I pretty much look like the guy in the pic, but with more muscle. We've got a couple months left of warm weather and swimming here in australia and i was wondering if i should cut first, then bulk, then cut again for december next year, or just bulk for 6 months then cut for 6 months? I'm probably gonna be doing it so half my time on each bulking or cutting cycle is on a Strength program and the other half is on a BB split. Which kinda diet plan should I do now? cut or bulk first? thanks guys

Same situation (and country, incidentally). I'm going with cutting now and then a lean bulk. Bulking now will just make the cut harder when I get to it. By cutting first, I'll stay more motivated ('cause I'll look better), I'll be able to monitor how much I'm bulking visually as well as with the scale, and I won't have much to cut for summer next year. Just how I'm approaching it.

I think ill do 4 months of cut then 4 of bulk then 4 of cut but shit man this is my first time actually getting my diet in check, last time i tried to bulk i got sloppy and gave up out of laziness. this time ive been logging my food and stuff without trying to keep up to any specific macros, just to observe how drastically my diet needs to change - less fats, more protein and so forth. Really taking baby steps so i dont get derailed and overwhelmed

Can a girl lose weight and still have big tits/butt?

Can a skinny girl get better/bigger tits/butt through exercise?

My gf lost 30kg and now her tits and butt are quite small. I don't mind too much but we recently had an argument where she complained about her small cup size and I said I thought it would be possible to achieve a little bit bigger breasts through exercise/lifting. She claims it's not possible, you either are lucky and get a killer body and then never get fat, or your body type kind of sucks your whole life.

Who is right?

And btw she is doing bodyweight circuits once or twice a week, but no dedicated lifting.

Depends on genetics, but they always lose something

You can definitely get a better ass lifting weights consistently, but don't expect massive pecs gains. Her tits will look better, but they won't grow much in size

1. having alcohol in your blood renders your prior training for like that whole week to be useless because you aren't going to repair the muscle fibers when your blood is full of fucking alcohol
2. it is poisonous
3. you can't train properly while its still in your system (nearly the rest of the week)
4. it dehydrates you and strips your body of minerals
5. its usually high in useless calories so your body feels gross
6. drinking is for basic bitches who, last time i checked, dont lift or have aesthetic bodies
