Do any of you /fit/bits, thru hike? Is it a cure all for skinny fat? Can I expect ottermode after a couple thousand mile hike? Serious replies only please, I leave for the pct in three weeks.
inb4 >>>/out/
>nobody on /out/ actually goes outdoors

Please read the sticky.
>>36489773
You need some muscle for ottermode so if you are skinnyfat you will just be scrawny when you lose the fat.
if you didnt eat a lot you would probably just end up skinny
its not like walking will work your chest/back/arms for the mots part unless you're climbing
After struggling with the squat for over 2 years I finally managed to get it right fitness. Wish me luck on my squat career!
Make me
>>36489671
congrats anon! its taken me almost a year but im finally on the right path as well! feels good!
Deep tissue massage, stretching and learning proper form took you two years?
Anyway, whatever happened to Ronnie? Does he still lift?
>Lifting for grils
Yall motherfuckers need stocism
Anyone else set up audiobooks while lifting/cardioing?
Audiobooks are pleb.
You're turning a book into a radio broadcast. The whole point of a book is being able to go at your own pace and being able to re-read passages you find appealing, whether on an aesthetic or insightful level. It makes it a much more personal experience. I don't need to hear some britcuck read me books like my mom did at night when I was a kid.
/rant
>>36489692
I agree, despite your usage of the word "cuck"
Audiobooks are all right sometimes though, like if you have to drive a lot.
But no, I can't get pumped for working out unless I listen to music OP
>>36489655
I listen to podcasts, mainly How stuff works, and planet money. Listen to them as well when i do cardio, might as well make good use of your time.
How much would it cost me to get my nose moved more symmetrically? I look fucking disgusting with my asymmetric face
>>36489532
Free buddy. Get a friend to punch you in the nose then squeeze it. I got mine broken bad once so now it breaks pretty easily, I just squeeze it hard every time, sometimes I hear a little pop and bam it's decently straight.
>>36489532
OP here. Forgot to mention that pic isn't me, so don't get your hopes up haha
bumping for interest
got the tan, the body, the degree, this is the only thing holding back my self confidence
Anyone else have this problem?
I have to sand my toes like once a month
probably need to freeze it all off to the base instead of just shaving it off
>>36489620
It's not a wart just excess skin like calluses
Exact same problem, i get it from running on my balls.
YOU GUYS SAID LIFTING WILL GET ME A GF
I DID STANDARD STRENGTH FOR 3 MONTHS AND TODAY I PULLED MY BACK DOING A 230 lb DEADLIFT, I CAN BARELY MOVE OR STAND, HOLY FUCK THIS SHIT SUCKS I AM NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN QUITING MY GUM MEMEBRSHIP TOMORROW
you're supposed to do it right
You pulled your back on a 230lb diddy? Kek there was no hope for you anyway.
Also a gf? Have you seen the number of >tfwnogf threads?
Get better form breh and try again.
If it was easy everyone would be /fit/
Do any of you guys get chest acne? I'm not sure if it's workout related. I always shower right after my workouts and have tried different lotions and stuff but nothing seems to be working. Real confidence killer.
I have had bad acne just because of genetics. Im on accutane now, but before that when I had chest acne I used a benzoyl peroxide bodywash on my chest and back and it cleared it up faily quickly... like maybe 3 weeks to a month there was only hyper pigmentation left
>>36489030
I should add though that your case on the chest looks significantly more severe than mine ever was.
Yea, I get it on my chest and back. Try the acne . org treatment. You don't have to buy their products as they are very expensive but just buy the exact same stuff of another brand. It is what I use and it cleared up most of mine.
If that doesn't work talk to a doctor about accutane.
My wifs is 7 weeks pregnant so ive been putting low dose dbol and dnp in her food. Will this cause a miscarriage?
hopefully you wind up with a kid thats retarded
If you can't respect your spawn how can you ever expect to respect yourself?

Rolling!
roll
might as well
rolling.
If <30 I'm doing 3xnr
I'd rather build for strength rather than building for mass.
Do larger muscles by default mean that you're stronger and more physically capable? Or is it possible to be tremendously strong without being very overly bulky?
to a degree, somewhat, kind of to all of the questions
>>36488719
YES
now, FUCK OFF
CNS adaptation has a lot to do with it. For example, I recently got back into weight lifting and I'm squatting about 185 lbs. Before I stopped, I was squatting about 315 lbs and my legs are not that much smaller.
how do i deal with scoliosis? any tips, remedies, etc. ?
how has it affected you?
I keep an eye on it with x-rays every year or so. I wear a lift in my left shoe, but everyone is different. Talk to a chiropractor, they can show you what exercises to do for your degree of curve and if you need a lift or anything
anyone have lordosis? i have a bit of it and am always scared that when i try to straighten out i put too much pressure on my lower back
>>36488552
It has affected me enormously. Used to be picked on in HS due to it, low self-esteem and everything that involves. I look pretty good now considering how bad my posture was, i reckon in a few years i'll have a top-tier posture (as long as i keep lifting and swimming, obviusly)
also does that help with muscle development?
When you're working out essentially you are just flexing, designate 30 minutes a day to high intensity flexing and you won't need to go to the gym
>>36488191
Flexing helps with your mind muscle connection, your control of the muscle.
>>36488291
>designate 30 minutes a day to high intensity flexing and you won't need to go to the gym
Who else /love deadlift doms/ here?
Also are you meant to feel an ache in your lower back after sumo deadlifts?
It's not my spinal column so much as the sides
Am I doing it wrong?
You shouldn't be able to walk the next day without excruciating pain.
>>36488184
I think my form just sucks because I can barely sit up in bed the next day.
>>36488226
I'm not doing them heavy enough I guess 8)
I'll just keep adding 1pl8 at a time until I snap my back, that's the quickest way to get gains isn't it?
How do I know I'm working my delts vs. fucking up my rotatory cuff? Should my shoulders be tight and up, or should they be slouched?
I don't know to hit my shoulders and it's driving me nuts.
Not confusing this with traps, I can definitely hit/feel my traps working.
Why would you abuse your traps instead of gently making love to them ?
Bumping this thread I need an answer to this stalling hard on ohp
Anyone have a good jump rope routine? Trying to not be fat fuck. I can do 100 reps in a row.
Inb4 jump rope is for faggots
>>36488035
jump rope is for faggots
>>36488035
Anon, it's so much simpler to just eat less/smarter.
I box. We do it as a warmup, never any longer than 10 to 15 minutes. It has some value for footwork and light cardio, that's it.
It's largely useless from a fitness perspective.
>>36488156
I've been using it more as something between sets of my regular lifting that keeps my heart rate up. My actual cardio is running/jogging on treadmill.
