Anyone else sometimes have shit days in the gym?

Went to hit a Squat PR of lmao2plate 3x5, and I was struggling on my 90kg warmup.

When I did my main sets, I did like 3 reps then got stuck at the bottom. I tried again after a few minutes, and I started seeing lights (Like when you stare in the sun) and got stuck at the bottom again.

It was more like my body didn't want to squat more than I was physically unable (it was only a 2.5kg increase from last time).

Did my bench 100% fine.

But when I was warming up for my deadlift, it was like my body just didn't want me to pick the bar up.

Why does this happen sometimes? I have I just fucked my ass/glutes somehow?

it happens bro, i had a shit week last week where all my lifts went down, BUT... i got in an argument with my dickhead neighbor and stopped short of getting into an actual fight with him. an hour later i went to the gym jacked on adrenaline, NO preworkout, and seriously did a massive PR on my bench. i did twice the volume on all my other lifts, and then 45 minutes of high intensity/uphill cardio on the treadmill. when i came home i wanted to go right back and bust out another few hours.

lesson learned, get pissed off by neighbor every day before gym and get fucking huge in a few months.

I'm on the sixth week of Candito's linear program and stalling on my squat.

Don't know if it's fatigue setting in or just my recent switch to vegan diet.

Will deloading help?

It took me a month to get used to the vegan diet. You will have to learn how to get the macros your body likes. Takes a while until you instinctively eat the right foods, because you are probably still learning what you can eat.

I was shitting all the time too, but that also normalises.
I'm 3 months in now and my recovery is far better than before and I feel strong again. Just takes time, it's a big change for your body.

Ok /fit/ so is it unhealthy for me to weigh 127 and be 5'11? I have anxiety about this all the time and I am constantly worrying I'm ruining my body or my mental health I want to eat and gain weight but I have practically no appetite When I wake up now I just feel sick to my stomach and I just can't eat food absolutely disgusts me. Yes it's unhealthy for you. But don't try to gain weight just to have the scale show a different number. You need to build some lean mass. Start eating more and exercising.

You say you have no appetite and I believe you, otherwise you wouldn't be such a skeleton. However, you can get used to damn near ANYTHING. You just have to ease into it. Don't start out doubling your food intake from one day to the next. Gradually start eating more and more, and yes you may have to force feed yourself.

I used to think it was impossible for me to gain weight, which was really ruining progress for me in the gym. Then I made a plan and stuck to it. I couldn't fall asleep at night because I felt so damn full. But I gained weight and I got used to eating more.

What's the best army related workout plan? Something comprised mostly of running, calisthenics, and dumbbells/body weight?

Simply do 2x2 mile runs aiming to improve your time every 3 days, whilst following a basic programme, with extra focus on legs (as that's what's going to get your ass up those hills when you're carrying a 40kg+ pack).

No matter what you go in looking like, by the time the final exercises come around, you will be doing PT 4-5 times a week with 10km+ runs and pack marches every other day.

So long as your cardio base is sweet and you aren't a fucking fatty (which you don't look like) you'll be dandy mate.

Is a rack/bench/cage absolutely required if I have a barbell/plates? I need to get a rack/bench/whatever but I'd like to start asap. And someone told me that I don't have enough equipment to do SL 5x5. And that a rack/bench is required.

You can improvise a bench (piano bench I've used before, it was a bit too short and definitely too hard/wooden). As for racking your squat or something you're in trouble. You could do it with a couple STURDY pieces of furniture that are the same height around shoulder level. Safety pins like in a squat rack shouldn't be necessary if you know how to fail a rep properly.
