If your goal is losing weight, the answer is to eat less. Going to the gym doesn't really help with weight loss at all. Burning 200 calories on a treadmill rather than just eating 200 less is nonsensical.

so i see all these companies selling protein powders, and ive always believed that real food is better for you than these supplements. companies trick you into thinking you need all these powders, but "complete proteins" are more like complete jokes! there is a healthy alternative guys; Avocados! Avocados have a respectable 2.9 grams of protein per cup, meaning that i only have to eat about 60 cups a day to get the recommended 1g per pound of bodyweight. anyone else following this diet? it seems to be working for me so far

I'm 19 and have been considering joining gym lately so i can stop being an average but here's where my problem starts
I'm 5'10'' (178cm) i'm not saying that i'm short but i'd love to be at lest 6 feet tall (184cm). I have good diet that is high in calcium, i heat healthy, don't eat fast food etc. I'm doing pull ups when i can and i stretch every morning. After checking out some exercises that you do in the gym i'm concered that it my stop me from getting those few precious cm. Am i right or i'm just over thinking this?
