How does fit stop drinking?
Too young to legally start
>>38108401
Don't, just count it in your calories.
>>38108401
Why did you start in the first place?
Protein powders make me fart.
I don't think dairy agrees with my body anymore. I'm just gonna switch to green peas, egg whites, hemp seeds and chicken.
>>38108369
Protein powders make everyone fart until your body gets used to treat increased protein
>>38109096
>increased protein
It's not an increase, I was already getting the same amount of protein from other sources before
Protip: whey is not the only protein powder out there
Just buy some hemp or soy protein

One food you choose will have magic macros of your choosing. what do you choose?
I wish ice cream had macros of a proton shake. Id just eat tubs of ice cream everyday.
>>38108224
pizza. considering you can basically put anything on top of a crust with sauce and cheese and call it pizza, its the only real choice to make. all food is infinite protons, like endless wishes
>>38108234
Pizzas bore me after 2-3 slices.

then have a mcdonalds pizza. put your big mac and fries on top of the pizza and eat it, then throw the rest away. cant fool me genie
/fit/ I've reached a point in my life in which one thing is bugging me and seriously hindering my self-content and potential to live the life I want to live.
I like to think of myself as a relatively successful and well adjusted person. I've been lifting for a few years and have achieved a respectable physique, I have a close social circle of friends I know I can always rely on, and I have a house/job/am studying in the field I want to pursue a career in.
Despite being content with so many aspects of my life, I nonetheless succumb to fear, doubt, and waves of apprehension in certain social situations, especially those in which a woman I'm interested in/attracted to is present.
Now I don't mean to say I have no social skills. I know that at times I can be charming and charismatic, and I've had serious romantic relationships in the past and have had various friends with benefits type situations over the years, all of which I've been the one to finish. Regardless of these experiences, I still manage to become a bumbling shadow of myself at my best when push comes to shove and I'm thrown into an uncomfortable social setting or when I become the center of a large groups' attention.
It feels as though I crumble under the pressure and become an awkward teenager again.
Confidence is an extremely powerful trait/skill/talent, whatever you like to call it, and I'm curious as to how /fit/ believes it can best be developed and made stable.
I've read about 'getting into state' and self affirmations and multiple other means of improving confidence throughout the internet. Have any of you guys found tools or exercises that have allowed you to improve your confidence, enhance your potential, and be the best version of yourself as you can be consistently?
Please post any resources or ideas you have regarding the development of confidence here. Hopefully we can all take something away from this thread.

To start it off here is a tool that I've used in the past to overcome anxiousness during public speaking events.
>sit down and visualise yourself having completed whatever it is that is causing you anxiety
>take time to feel the emotions associated with completion/conquering this task, and assume that you've done an amazing job
>watching yourself in the third person, begin to rewind from this moment of completion throughout the process of completing the task
>think quickly, speeding through the process back to the present moment in which you feel the anxiety
>repeat this rewinding visualisation two more times, each time slower than the last
Whenever I've done this my anxiety has decreased substantially and I've delivered good speeches or presentations. If some fear remains after having gone through this process you can go through it again, this time visualising the process from your point of view.
I've actually used this for dates and job interviews as well as public speaking, and each time it's helped me tremendously.
MOST people experience stage freight OP. You are not "missing out" on anything if you are realizing you cannot become this peak of human or some shit that quite frankly is impossible to attain or maintain.
One piece of advice I can offer is to get good at something, and then show it off. This works better in a competitive environment, since controlling your nerve is so important.
Once you do that you will realize that people tend to observe the immediate resultant of things you do, I.E. if you win a tournament but look dumb as fuck doing it, it doesn't matter and people will respect you.
Do this and also learn to laugh at yourself. If you can do both of these then you will have come to experience almost everything that can come from being "in the spotlight".

Grace under pressure is a rare thing. But the thing is, this isn't really pressure. Your scale is too small. You don't need to argue to me that your life is great and full of adventure, you've already made it crystal clear it isn't. It's okay. I just want you to make some ruckus in the world. Spoonfeeding yourself nice little chickenshit advice from TedTalks and self help books is wasting valuable space in your memories. Stop. Its absurd. Your contentment is absurd. Your wall of text is absurd. Embrace reckless abandon.
Has anyone here had gyno surgery before?
I'm thinking of getting just under or at 1/2/3/4 for reps, cutting, and then having the surgery so I can bulk immediately after and regain strength.
How much strength can I lose in a month of not working out?
>>38108094
if you havent gotten <13% bf, don't get gyno surgery.
>>38108120
Why?
There definitely is gyno. It's a hard lump amid the fat.
>>38108125
because all men have mammary glands. if you have one that might be larger than normal but it's not visible, do you really need to get it removed?
What to do if your parents are gains goblins?
>Won't let me sleep enough to recover normally(they go to sleep at like 11 pm and are up by 6 being loud AF, so even if I sleep at the same time as them it's not enough)
>Keep nagging me about getting a job and moving out and doing chores which further lowers my testosterone via cortisol
>Won't buy good food so I can't bulk nor cut properly
>Can't get gf because of their bullshit
Fuck man I know I'm a NEET but why do they have to be like this? I'm so jeally of other neets.
What do I do? I'm considering just taking what money I have and moving by myself to le big city and starting a new life but I have no job, no gf and no real skills.
How did /fit/bros deal with their gains goblins of a family?
I've been Neet for 15 years and my parents still buy me stuff.
Dropped out of HS age 17 to play WoW, 28 now.
You sit at home and make this thread EVERY. FUCKING. DAY. instead of getting a job and moving out.
>>38108036
THERE. ARE. NO. JOBS. HERE!
Does anyone else here dine and dash all you can eat restaurants after loading up your stomach and then also some tupperware containers?

hi /fit/, fatty here, been lifting for about 4 months. people who can do pullups, how much weight can you do on the lat pulldown machine? i ask because my bodyweight is 230 lbs, I do 3x5x180 lbs on the pulldown machine, but cant do any pullups. Just wondering when I can expect to start being able to do pullups, so please post:
>your bodyweight
>how many pullups you can do (and added weight if you use it)
>how much weight you can lift on the lat pulldown machine, for how many reps
I'm just looking for an idea of how far off I am from doing pulldowns, because I heard that a bodyweight lat pulldown is harder than a pullup from a friend at the gym.
>do pullup negatives
I do already, they are definitely helping but I cant yet do a positive
>use the assisted pullup machine
my gym doesnt have one
>just do rows
i do also (my pendlay row is currently 145 for 5)
Thanks guys
