I've been lifting for about 10 months now, mostly 3x5 with as much weight as I can handle. Now I seem to have plateaued a bit. I eat a lot of carbs and calories and stick with basic exercises such as dead lift, squats etc. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure where you heard that. The general consensus is that ATG is better for your knees than trying to stop at parallel. You actually WANT a little bit of bounce/reflex at the bottom.

I've been lifting regularly for about 1 year now, and I've started deadlifting for about a month.
I'm still a newbie doing the exercise so I'm focusing on adquiring the right technique so as no to hurt myself, carefully watching myself in the mirror and with little weight.
Had been doing fine so far but today I was lifting 40 kgs and in the second rep I felt a stinging burning sensation in the area marked in the pic. I felt really worried so I stopped right there. Do you have any ideas what could have happened to me before I decide to go to a doctor?

there are different kinds of yoga, but in general I like it. it's relaxing, improves your flexibility and helps with balance. it is NOT training even though some people claim it is.

More running. Go easy just like you are doing and don't eat like an idiot and you will improve quickly. Make sure your glutes are being used as well, too much quad use isn't efficient and may be why you are slow as well.
