Who here swims for weight loss? What are some good routines?
>>39456105
I do swimming as part of my weekly routine. My main goal is to lose weight.
My week is like:
Monday: Swimming
Tuesday. Running
wednesday: Gym
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Gym
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Swimming
For losing weight i suppose swimming some Intervalls (to get ea little muscles which will help burning calories) + some cardio (actually burning calories)
Heres what I do when I go swimming:
500m warm up+technique, short intervalls (10x50m e.g), long series (2x400m e.g.) cooldwon 200m.
Do you know how to swim or not? the routine depends on your level, how many hours and days you'll be swimming.
I started to swim because I wanted to learn.. it was part of a brotier new years resolution of mine about learning essential skills I lacked at the time like swimming, making a fire and stuff like that. Long story short its been almost three years since that and I end up joining the local team so I now combine gym+swimming. So I can help you a bit on routines or pointer on how to start but I need to know if you're starting from scratch or not..
My advice is to pay for at least one of two month of lessons and learn proper technique, then you can go solo from that point or if its not too expensive keep training with a coach or whatever.
coachfag here, what are you wanting to accomplish from swimming?

Sup /fit/, what's the most calorie to alcohol efficient drink?
Is there a way to get drunk every once in a while and not hinder my weight loss/muscle gain?
Thx
>>39455861
clear liquors
any alcohol will impact your gains, but if you want low calorie and high alcohol content, clear liquor is where it's at
straight or with soda (not tonic, it's as bad as pop)
i'm partial to gin desu
>>39455867
Was going to say exactly this.
>>39455867
I only drink it straight, can't add more calories from soda, so vodka for example would do fine?
Tfw Slav all this time
People you used to think were big before you started lifting.

so my doc said i shouldnt continue with overhead pressing and chinup movements because my shoulderjoint shows first signs of wear.
can you guys show me some physiques that were built with those handicaps?

can you guys show me some physiques that

>first signs of wear
If you use something, it wears.
You don't quit at the first sign of wear.
If everybody stopped overhead movements at the first signs of wear then NOBODY would be doing OHP anymore.
Wear and tear is a side effect of building your physique. It happens to everyone who pushes themselves. It will always continue to happen. Nobody is exempt from this trade-off.
Now that doesn't mean you can't prevent it from getting worse. You need to let injuries and wear recover. You need your supps and diet in check to allow your joints to cope with the demands you place on them.
Bottom line is. Nobody with big shoulders has pain free shoulders.
Would you hit on Mark despite of his insistence on using Power Cleans on his beginner routine instead of a more sensible row exercise?
Would you gladly hand your body to this muscle daddy god despite of the fact that some critics argue that SS has too much of an emphasis on lower body musculature?
Would you sacrifice your leanness and bulk extensively using milk that he himself provided if there were proof that your lean body mass would increase?
God. Just his voice makes me horny.
>>39454638
>Power Cleans on his beginner routine
this argument is so retarded. lifting and getting stronger on other exercises won't do shit to make you more "qualified" to learn power cleans. the only way to learn how to power clean is by doing them, and the best time to do them is from the beginning. it's not even such a difficult skill. compared to the skill required in basically every other sport it's laughably easy to do.
>Would you gladly hand your body to this muscle daddy god despite of the fact that some critics argue that SS has too much of an emphasis on lower body musculature?
I did and I'm happy with my result
>Would you sacrifice your leanness and bulk extensively using milk that he himself provided if there were proof that your lean body mass would increase?
I did an I'm happy with my result

Planet Fitness thread
Didn't see one of these in a while. Let's get this started
it is shit don't go. wasted time there about 5 months made slow little gains from smith machines. went to my uni gym for 2 months, made the most strength and aesthetic gains in my life
>Work out at Planet Fitness
>No opportunity to do barbell compound exercises needed to build essential strength and muscle gains
HAHAHAHAHA GREAT THREAD I'M NOT AMERICAN
Bulking on all those free pizzas and bagels OP.
We're all gonna make it.
What the fuck kind of injury did he have, to be able to pause bench 424 lbs?
Where do I get those injuries?

why are there multiple of clarence threads today? many of them are getting deleted? i wonder if he's one of the mods here lol.
apparently this guy has been a vegan for 9 months and is taking 150mg of EOD every 8 weeks.

You will never have this. You will never even be close to any aspect of this. Not even a small loan of one million reps will translate into you being elite, powerful, rich, or famous.

Who cares. I'll tell you who. You, you're the only one. Just kill yourself if you can't handle life.
you can be if you really wanted to

Only Arnie was able to do that. I'm not nearly good enough to lift my weigh into multiple high profile careers.
Anyone else in here feel confident that they could take down Floyd Mayweather in a fight?
I don't have any specific fighting expierence but I believe that strength and size can make up for it. He's like 5'7'' 149.9 manlet skeletton kek
I'm 6'1 sitting at 200lbs and 1/2/3/4 lmaopl8 lifts.
I don't think he even lifts so what could he do in a fight?

I'm pretty sure that most boxers can't fight as well in an mma or street fight scenario they're only good at throwing punches...
Tell me about you. Tell me about your progress, your goals.
Did you beat your PR?
Did you finally get her/his number?
I myself been at it 2 months, I can see a change in my body and my attitude to life in general, this week iv been on 3 dates with 3 women and I don't feel as sad as before lifting.
So tell me anon, how u doing?

im a recovering skinny fat who channels his autism into fitness from video games. I used to obsess over games but now it's fitness, to the point where I'll buy fast food and keep it around myself just to test my willpower. then ill start eating it, but spit it out after it's all chewed up just to prove that i can do it to myself, then ill throw it away. I bought some pairs of tight underwear that i refuse to disrespect and wear until my bf is low enough to show my adonis belt and abdomens. my motivation is to be able to walk around shirtless with those boxers ever so slightly too low to show off my physique and to catch people looking. once i achieve this i dont know what I'm going to move onto next. i fantasise about having somebody spill a drink on me in public and therefore being forced to take off my shirt and walk around half naked without looking like a tryhard.
>>39462950
I just made it but I've only been lifting for just over a year so I don't know how to feel
dyel here, went from 0 push ups to 30 in 30 sec
sounds not much, is an achievement for me tho
I mean, does bone structure matter that much? Big Z seems to be huge all around; he has a block head, one of the widest i've ever seen, and he seems to have thick bones.
Do skinnier people have a chance to be this strong and big, with the appropriate drugs?
>>39462448
It all matters, but what matters the most is how prone you are to contusions. Eddie Hall deadlifted 500kg becuase he almost never had any injuries and could do a steady progress.
I think that most people could get to a 250kg+ deadlift natty. 300kg+ elite and roiders and over 400 only genetic monsters on roids.
>>39462448
>>39462467
>being this delusional
Genetics are everything. Anyone can lift and roid, but only those with the best genes will make it to the top.
Look at Eddie Hall at 16. He only did swimming at that point.
He's impressive but if you take a closer look at his lifts and his weight then not so much. From Wiki his personal best squat is 400 kg and he weighs around 180. That's a little over 2 times his BW.
There are tons of lifters that are much smaller that lift much more. Take Lu for example. He is 77 kg and squats around 310 kg. That's 4 times his BW.
So yes, you can be much stronger per pound.
Let's get that test pumping lads
