So what are some quirks you know about your gym? I'll start

> gym has two types of 45s, one secretly 43 lbs and one 46lbs
>newbies would deadlift with mismatched plates and the bar would tilt severely
> girl at the front desk picks out horrible music after 12am
> there's one guy with a deadlift higher than 99% of your gym at 130lbs
> The staff strictly prohibit you to do deadlifts in the best place to do deadlifts (less rubber mats meaning a better foundation for your feet also no chance of fucked up mats pushing the bar in weird directions)
> one of the bars is actually a expensive bearing bar that looks nearly identical to the rest, but is much better
> one of the bars is a bit thicker, and weighs 46 lbs
So? Any small details you noticed about your gym?

Carbs, proteins and fats take up space, you can't fit 300 grams of cabrs and 100 grams of protein in a teaspoon.

My arms won't stop growing... I have huge arms (bis, tris and shoulders). They are getting bigger and bigger BUT my chest and back are not growing at all... It looks ridiculous.

Other folks at the gym keep telling me 'Don't worry you are just arm dominant', 'I would kill to have those arms'...

But without a shirt I look fucked... Like popeye.

My main lifts are OHP, Deads, Bench, Squat and pull ups. I thought compounds were supposed to give you a decent symetrical physique.

Have been lifting for 5 years. My bis measure in at 19inch flexed (some being fat).

Any ideas / suggestions?

I do isolation exercises to supplement my compounds. Flies, pec deck, cables, seated rows, lat pull downs etc... but my chest and back (particularly lats) are still non-existent.

I do have very broad shoulders. Not sure if that has something to do with it? I'm lost.

read the sticky, don't try any crash diets.
Just eat 200 or so calories less than you usually do every day, and then decrease by another 200 etc.

ACTUALLY COUNT YOUR CALORIES. MyFitnessPal is great for this.

Are they cheating? Should I not use them and if my grip fails, just keep training my grip until I can increase my deadlift weight?

I finally pulled 3 plates x 3 today and felt great, but did it with aid of a belt and straps. Normally I've done neither. 5'9'' and 166 lbs

Unless you're training for the lift, injuries aside, there's no reason one weak part should hold your training back.

Just don't use them until you can't hold it, and make sure you're doing something about your grip elsewhere.

Nah not really. Just make sure to do strapless lifts at lower weights.

I don't view belts as cheating at all honestly.
