Would you rather be able to do 30 sit ups in a row, or be able to lift an Atlas stone?

Be able to lift 30 atlas stones
>>39978119
Post the video pls sampai
>>39978119
If you can lift an atlas stone you can do 30 sit ups... are you retarded?
How many sets are you doing and how long are your sets?
I have been doing 3x1-5 for ages and made the switch to 4x10 a couple of weeks ago for the lulz, and the new way feels 20 times harder.
>>39978114
8x3 or 1x20, after working up to a top set on a squat variation. If you thought the doms on a regular widowmaker set was bad, imagine being stupid enough to try it on pause squats.
>>39978114
Squat 145kg 3x5
Warm up consists of, 10 reps 60kg, 5 reps of 80kg, 5reps of 120kg.
I then always enjoy going back down to 100kg after my real 140kg set, and hitting if i can 3x5.
I always love blasting legs, 3 times a week is no enough for me, wanting to switch to 4 days a week.
>>39978114
17 sets every week.
One day where I work up to a heavy amrap set and then taper down slowly for a total of 9 sets. Another day where I do 8 sets of front squats at 70%.
>"Haha, what?"
>>39978069
This is next level shitposting.
>>39978113
>"haha, but what do you mean?"
>>39978069
Don't worry about it babe. I'm a meathead, with no coherent thoughts anyway.
*said a giggling ironic tone*
How do I attain this physique?
>>39977925
don't eat
Go to the /fa/ meetup.
>>39977925
Go on permacut until you achieve that.
Is it a meme that gear somewhat gives you a stronger jaw line???
>>39977826
If you're chewing a lot of tough foods while on gear (especially tren) then yeah it helps.
There are lots of muscles that operate the jaw. These don't usually see any growth in adult natties.
It actually grows the bones on your chin and jaw.
So yes?
I think so. Just look at any woman who roids hard, manly jaws start to form. Or maybe that is partly due to a low body fat percentage.
Is this what it is like to be natty?
>>39977765
confirmed, i actually look like this guy and i'm 100% natty.
actually i think my shoulders are a little broader and he may be a manlet from the looks of it, which i'm not
>>39977832
Pics brah
Yeah when you get a pump your body gets flipped across the vertical axis. Its really annoying to be natty because you have to become ambidextrous
can you GAIN on steakums?

Seems dumb.
Just go to the grocery store and get meat that's about to expire, put it in your freezer or cook it that day, they mark it down by up to 50%.
I feel a flu coming on. How do I stop it before it gets worse

is it better to hire a coach to show me how to deadlift or should I keep adding weights (currently lmao 2pl8) until I snap my shit up?
how can I know that my deadlift form is really fine without actual professional advice?
the deadlift is pretty easy to get right. as long as your spine is neutral and you don't do any weird shit you shouldn't snap anything up. /fit/ is way too paranoid about the main compounds. even with atrocious form you typically don't get injured, and the vast majority of injuries heal relatively quickly.
why the fuck is he deadlifting in boots
>>39977721
You should definatly hire a counsultant to teach you proper deadlift form
Curious about /fit/'s opinion on the StrongLifts 5x5 routine, and or other 5x5 and likewise programs.
For reference, I am a 22 yr old male, 5'10" 190 lbs, I usually sit around 180-185 but dat holiday weight. Nutrition is my downfall, but I will clean that up.
I lift regularly but with no real program or system, rotating through each muscle group once a week. 5 min of cardio before lifting and a warm-up set on my first exercise.
So /fit/ what do you think of the SL 5x5 program, if you're not a fan, please let me know a bit about yourself and what routine is working for you.
Starting Strength is a meme
SL is an inferior version of SS. it's pretty much the same, yet less effective. the two main differences, 5x5 instead of 3x5 and rows instead of power cleans are made because they appeal to beginners, not because they actually make the routine better. it actually makes it worse.

dont listen to this retard
Hey /fit/, recovering fatty here
I've been going to the gym to lift and do cardio on top of eating at a caloric deficit since September. I'm 6'2 245 lbs and I started at 305.
I just recently started doing compound lifts because my fat ass couldn't handle it when I first started. First time squatting I ended up doing 225x5 which is still babbyweight but I expected much worse. However, my deadlifts were lower than that. To my understanding, which is limited, aren't diddy lifts supposed to be higher than your squat? I could only manage 1.5 plates and I couldn't even get 2 plates off the ground
Aside from being weak as shit, what's my problem? Could it be just improper form, or is it something more along the lines of an underdeveloped back?
I know my noob gains will only take me so far while I'm eating at a big deficit, but I'm hoping to at least get my deads up to 2plate before plateauing during the cut
Bump
Re bump
it's most likely an untrained core. as a fatty you naturally have conditioned lower body just to function (walk, sit, etc) but your core is being babied by your fat pad. otherwise, check your form.
>This will never be you
How do you guys cope with the fact that you will never be king Jeff?
>>39977539
I am 6'2 so whatever he achieves in his life does not matter since hes a manlet.
Jeff pls go

How much does it cost to set up a decent home gym with bumper plates?
>>39977454
Walked to the gym, did legs, then walked home
Nearly died of heatstroke
Here, we simply rate other /fit/izens' face, height and frame. Here is an example for Zyzz:
>Height 6'1
Face: 6/10
Height: 8.5/10
Frame: 9/10
Good luck!
>>39977381
Do that for the above /fit/izen.
Not op but I'll take the risk

>>39977381
>Face: 6/10
hahaha the fuck? his jaw and dark eyes were handsome no homo. seriously, think about this: he had an entire aesthetics crew and aesthetics movement who copied his tan, hairstyle, workout routine and dance yet zyzz pulled 5x as many chicks as the next best guy.
This is a thread for fellow winners of the genetic lottery
>tall enough to not be a manlet
>short enough for gains to come easy and look really good
>can reach high shelves, but also feel comfortable in airplane seats
>incredibly easy to find clothes that fit you well
While manlets argue "h-hh-haahaa lanklets have no gains and look like shit" and lanklets argue "fucking when will they learn, nobody takes shorties seriously", us the true master race get to sit out of petty squabbles while enjoying the best of both worlds
Feels good man
>>39977333
6'1-6'2 is the perfect height for standarts. (I include volleyball, basketball players which are really tall in non-standarts)
>>39977333
You're pretty right on that desu, HOWEVER, on very tall countries like the Nordics and Netherlands, etc. 6' to 6'2 is ideal IMO.
But on the rest of the world, your height is ideal for everything on athletics and looking good for females.
>Prove me wrong, pro tip: you can't!
>>39977333
you shorties are cute
