I know, it's rather dumb question to ask, but still. I am trying to work with my abs for already 3 weeks, doing crunches every second day, but still no effect. (muscles don't even hurt the next day)
My neck suffer most of the time, and yeah, I know that I should "do the exercise right", I watched like a bazzilion videos on youtube, and still can't do it right. It's just doesn't work.
Maybe I have completely atrophied muscles on my tummy, so I can't do even the most simple crunches.
So, could you advise me some very simple exercise? Like, for cripples, or little girls, I dunno.

If crunches aren't working for you, do planks, and/or get an ab roller. Also, add alternating twists to your crunches, or do them at a decline. although if you're neck is hurting, you are doing them wrong and should either clean up your form or switch to a different exercise (do not put your hands behind your head or neck when you do them).

I'm 20M 5'11' 162lbs probably ~15% bf been weight lifting semi-seriously for 4 months now (not focusing enough on diet). I want that standard beach body look... How can I obtain it? Calisthenics or free weights? what program would you suggest? should I bulk, cut or eat maintenance?

Calisthenics gains come super slowly, free weights are the way to go.
The best thing you can do is post a pic of your body. Notoriously hard to accurately guess your own bf%, but if we see what you're working with we can let you know.
I'm same stats (height, age) but I weigh a little less (71kgs) and I've been lifting longer (+currently bulking), so I'd assume you're higher than 15% bf - like I said though, hard to say without pics.
The best blanket advice is to do a SLOW (0.25kg/week, 1kg/mth) bulk with a program with a mix of strength and hypertrophy. Cut sensibly and give yourself enough time to do it right. It might take you less than a year to get to that guy's body if you don't fuck around, he's not huge.
The program I use is an Upper/Lower, going ABxCDxx
A:Lower, Strength
B:Upper, Hypertrophy
C:Lower, Hypertrophy
D:Upper, Strength
Focusing on shoulders, upper chest and arms when I'm doing HYP.

Hey /fit/, it's my first time using this board so sorry if a break an obscure rule straight of the bat or something. I've been meaning to get fit for a while and want to finally dedicate to it so I came here to ask for a little advice. I'm not terribly out of shape and am looking to get at the very least healthy, but preferably also build a little muscle by summer time. I know it's not too long from now, and I'm not looking for some miracle, but I would like to know if there is an optimal exercise I could use for a short period of time like that if I dedicated myself fully. Do you have any recommendations? I really know nothing about this so anything helps. Also, a side question, is there a good cardio exercise I could do that isn't as high impact as jogging? I'm pretty tall and it kills my knees but I know that cardio is where I need to start. Thanks.
