How do you go about training for a sport you never played, and get good before joining the team?

Looking into volleyball and softball for next year, looking to get fit before then. For practice and less embarrassment.

you can't really get good at a team/competitive sport without practicing with other people
you can watch tape and study the game though, ie: what good players do in certain situations, the technique certain players use ect.
also practice sport specific movements, throwing, spiking, jumping, ect.
get a coach or record yourself doing shit, correct form

I've been putting vaseline on my eyebrows since january. My eyebrows and eyelashes have gotten thicker. but not thick enough especially at the outer edges.

Is there any alternatives to vaseline that makes the eyebrows grow even more thicker? vaseline is too slow. No eyebrow transplants please.

Also i wish my jaw was better and i have less babyfat despite being at a 11 percent bodyfat. then again im 18 so babyfat will keep being lost as i age and the buccal fat will go away.

Direct sunlight exposure to benis and bolls is good for test production. 15 minutes. So now that summer is nearly upon us in the northern hemisphere, remember to get outside and take anabolic advantage of the sunlight.

Now that I've shared that with you, I did a lot of skiing this year and I really appreciate /fit/ promoting full body 5x5 novice programs as they helped me reduce knee pain, remain injury free and ski hard throughout the year often 4-6 days a week.

However, I did find parts of my lower legs getting sore on deep powder days and days when I sent it particularly hard. Not my calfs but the muscles that engage when you point your toes down and rotate your feet laterally.


What are some excercises that would

1. Improve ones ability to land a moderate to high impact jump safely
2.strengthen the muscles of the lower leg responsible for outward rotation like in pic related

Thanks and I hope our friends in the Southern Hemisphere have as good a winter as we did here on the west coast.

I literally have pictures of fat slobs on my wall to help me stick to my diet. I've only lost 10 lbs so far over the past two months and am down to 240.

Anyone here do this? I'm convinced that this is the truth and everyone should be doing it. Pretty intense workout too, both physically and mentally. Fascinated by whatever a "Kundalini Awakening" is. Sounds both terrifying and exhilarating, and yet there's very little scientific understanding of it.
