Post beers.
Here is Greene King IPA, a traditional Indian Pale Ale made in Suffolk, in the rural East Anglia of England.
"Indian Pale Ales" are just pale ales - the "India" comes from the fact that these beers were made with extra hops, to preserve them on the journey to India, where the British Raj would drink them during colonialist times.
It's a very tasty beer.
Gonna go get a couple bottles of this for the snow storm tonight.

where are you from, friend
ipa is done to death, i like a nice stout
>>8376004
Nice. Is that Canadian? Judging from the French, and that map on the bottle looks like Quebec.
>>8376135
South of England but I worked/lived in Ipswich for a year. One time I went to Bury St. Edmunds for a night out, it's a nice place.
Anyway, I disagree with you my friend, IPA is making a big comeback.
Obviously you've got all the trendy "craft beers" like Sierra Nevada, Goose Island, Brew Dog, and more independent stuff than that.
I got into those beers a few years ago because it was the "trendy" and "cool" thing at the time.
Then I thought why the fuck aren't I drinking something like Greene King IPA? It's LITERALLY THE SAME KIND OF BEER as Goose Island IPA, the only difference is that the trendy youth associate English IPAs with fat old men with beer bellies.
But what does that have to do with the taste and quality of a beer? It's just fucking branding. So now I drink proper English IPAs and I don't give a fuck if some smarmy hipster thinks I'm out of touch. In fact I'm a POST-hipster. I'm so alternative, I'm even more alternative than they are.
Also I like that English bitters are served a little less cold than other beers. They're still cold, just don't give me fucking brain freeze. So I like that. Especially in the winter.

I made pirozhki.
In picture - cabbage, onion, yeast (1 tbsp package), butter, 1 egg, sugar, milk, salt and pepper
Off picture - Ground meat (about a pound) and flour
There are a few steps that take time, like letting the dough rise takes about the time of a one sided CSGO comp match and the baking takes about 20 minutes or so
Warm up 2 cups of milk
Put together the tablespoon of yeast, a tablespoon of sugar, and half cup of warm milk in one smaller bowl (dont mix it, just put it all in the same bowl)

Is PF Chang any good?
a friend of mine is taking me to one tomorrow and after looking over the menu online it just looks like a more expensive american chinese resturant
am i just better off going to a greasy cheap american chinese resturant or a chinese mall food court place?
>>8373734
You're better off going to a greasy dog-peddling Chinese takeout place.
P.F. Chong's sells Chinese food but prepared with mostly fresh ingredients instead of stuff that's frozen or obtained from a pre-made distributor. You get what you pay for, but for Americanized Chinese food that's $12 a plate its not worth it when I can get a literal bucket of fried rice for that much at my local Cat Butcher and Chinese Food Emporium.

This guy is exactly right. Food will prolly taste similar if not the same, but will be miles cheaper.
Just don't be there when the FBI busts it for sex trafficking.
I miss you China Wok & Donuts. You died too young. Just like the sex slaves you apparently sold in the back.

I'm learning how to cook meals for my family, we have 2 very young kids and I like to start feeding them home made meals.
My problem is with boiling water. What is the best method that you can teach me.
Start with ice cubes. Everyone knows that cold water boils faster, and ice will boil the fastest.
You should have 100-200 ice cubes in your freezer at all times. Take about 30 of those, put them in a pan (not a skillet!) and hold it over your kitchen garbage bin. Set whatever's in the bin alight, then hold the pan over the fire.
Do this 10 or 12 times and you'll have boiling water just like Martha Stewart boils it!
There are a million different ways to boil water depending on the type of meal you're making. Not to mention the metaphysical properties of boiling separate foods at once, such as noodles and meat. I recommend reading some books on the laws of thermodynamics, as well as The God Delusion.
Also, read the notes written by the Zodiac Killer. He offers a lot of insight into boiling water on an electric stove.
